Coming up on week 9 and the nausea is the worst it’s ever been! But no puking (so far) just queasy all day every day. 🤢 Tried sea bands, b6 lozenges, ginger, ginger ale. Can’t wait to get over this 1st trimester hump!
@shaycarr09 I feel ya. I'll be 9 weeks tomorrow and I thought my nausea was starting to get better a few days ago, but it's much worse now. I almost started crying while cooking dinner for my family tonight because everything smelled terrible and I was just dreading eating. I'm thankful that I haven't been puking, but I've been sad about feeling sick and not enjoying food for weeks. I feel so dramatic but it sucks!
I’ve never had motion sickness, but riding in the car makes my nausea worse now. I’ve found the acupuncture bands from Amazon help in the car (but no other time). It’s like an athletic sweat band with a plastic knob that goes on your pressure point.
Week 7 here and just started dealing with daily queasiness. It's not unmanageable, but seems to hit 4-5 times a day for 10-15 minutes at a time. I keep saying it feels like a small hangover. I'm oddly happy about it, because Emily Oster scared the hell out of me! I loved Expecting Better and found it so useful, but she repeatedly wrote the no nausea is a bad sign and then (unlike everything else she writes) didn't back that up with the data. I've spoken to so many mammas here and IRL who had nothing at all or only minor nausea and they all had healthy pregnancies and babies. The only absolute seems to be that every mom-to-be responds with different symptoms, at different times, and at different severities and none of it means anything about your baby.
You are not alone! I feel hungry all the time!!! I eat so much and food taste sooo good while pregnant. The other day I had a salad and an orange, I initially felt full then 5 minutes later I felt like I didn’t eat a thing all day.
Current pregnancy - First BFP on 1/4/22. Due date 9/13/22.

@channas20 I’m 9w4d and I’ve managed to get by without much morning sickness, if any! That would have freaked me out too if I read that. Every mama is different!
This is 100% me right now. 8w+1d with twins and couldn’t be more tired and nauseous. Nothing has been helping much with the nausea and then I remembered I had these pressure point bracelet bands that help with nausea (I get frequent migraines). I didn’t think it would help but here I am the next morning not feel nearly as nauseous. Something to consider!
Super vivid dream last night that I showed up at my next appointment (13 weeks) and they said wow you're ready to deliver this baby, and then I had the baby. I was freaking out saying there's no way I've taken pregnancy tests for the last 9 months and didn't get a positive until January. It felt so real when I woke up I could have sworn it really happened.
I just wanted to follow up on my earlier comments about my problems with nausea and vomiting… I had the worst 10 days of being sick all day and so tired - I started the b6 25mg 3x/day(yesterday afternoon) per midwife recommendation and I woke up feeling 10x better than I have in 2 weeks. So relieved that it worked for me! Ladies, don’t wait- try it!

I’m 10w5d and my symptoms have basically disappeared. I’m not sure if I’ve gotten really good at managing my nausea or if it’s gone away. I know I’m getting close to second trimester so I’m hoping the placenta taking over has just gotten rid of my symptoms. Anyone else feeling a drop in symptoms?
@bets321 I’m 11 weeks today and most of my nausea has gone! The past couple of weeks it’s come and gone but the last three days are nausea free so far. Just a fast growing little bump now!
This stomach bug is kicking my butt. Every time I eat, I get miserable intestine pains and diarrhea. And just the feeling of pregnancy nausea on top of it. Ugghhh. I want this bug to go away!

I’m 11 weeks today and so far am still just very tired, feeling more irritable too but that might be the stress of work combined with being tired. Breast tenderness is back but more in my nipples than I’ve felt before. Waiting for my hair and nails to get luscious and strong!
Unrelated to being pregnant, related to be clumsy. I did fall down 11 stairs the other day and really hurt my tailbone, elbow, and ankle. I’ve been trying to use a heating pad on a low setting on everything (no longer than 15 min on my ass), but I literally can’t stand up or sit down without pain so I’m hoping I start feeling better soon. I’ve never hurt my tailbone before and I’m amazed at the pain, also happy I fell on my ass and not stomach though. Ordered stair pads for the stairs so I won’t be falling again and will never wear just socks on hardwood floors ever again 🤷🏼♀️🙃🙈
@lucyg00cy Oh, no! That sucks big time. I fell down the stairs last year while holding my daughter. She was fine, but I broke my tailbone. I hope you recover quickly!

@mokay19 in right there with you. Currently up playing the am I pregnant nauseous or about to puke again...... It was puke again. Thankfully once I puke, I feel better for a couple hours. I'm just hoping the noise I just heard wasn't the 1 year puking again because she's in my bed and I don't have that energy right now.
@chelsraec Yes! I’ve had some crazy dreams during my other pregnancies where it’s taken me over a half an hour to fall back asleep because they felt so real!
We just had our traditional Olive Garden dinner ordered in, and now I'm in bed wanting to puke my brains out (it started before we even ate). Heaven help me. 🤢
10 weeks this week and OH MA LAWD I need bloating relief help! I struggled with severe morning (all damn day) sickness weeks 6-9, that has started to subside! But wow, I now painfully bloated! Anyone else experiencing this?
@trapperkeeper87 you inspired me and I am now DYING unless I get fettucine alfredo. So I now have an OG pick-up scheduled for 8 (I will send the boy person; sadly he cannot eat any since he is keto).

Take Gas-X. Totally safe and should help almost immediately.
@chelsraec yes! I had the crazy vivid dreams last pregnancy and having them again this time around! They are often super violent and scary! And then I can’t go back to sleep after. A few days ago I had one that my mom and daughter were sitting outside together and when I looked out the window, I saw them being eaten by an alligator and there was nothing I could do. Then I grabbed a giant knife and went outside and gouged out the eyes of the alligator. Like wtf?
@theblondebump my crazy pregnancy dreams tend to be variations on post-apocalypic themes. Lots of zombies and nuclear wars.

@theblondebump that's scary. Thankfully my super vivid dreams are usually me giving birth to something other than a baby, or a sex dream. Much more enjoyable than alligators and death.
@theblondebump Do you have those often? I had one last night I just can't shake! I'm not sure what was going on, but it was almost post-apocalyptic and my family and I were packing backpacks full of camping supplies to survive in the woods. Then some strangers happened upon us and pointed a weapon at my 8 year old son! I woke up at that point in the sweats and couldn't get back to sleep. Hoping it was just a one time thing and my dreams will stay work related or just random life things! The dreams this time around have been SO vivid!
@jhysmath omg yes on the sex dreams here too! Either violence or sex lol. One or the other.
@mnmomma84 unfortunately yes! I’ve had a lot of scary dreams, like we’re eating a fancy dinner in the middle of the woods and then there’s a forest fire, or we’re on a boat that starts sinking. Very morbid!
I’m a little over 10 weeks and overall feel good! Just super tired. I’m thankful I haven’t been nauseous at all but I have had some constipation/bloating which isn’t fun but it seems to have gotten better in the past week. I’ve been having weird dreams too but I almost instantly forget them within minutes of waking up?? Lol
Has anyone been experiencing daily headaches? I’m 10wks tomorrow. Trying to tough it out. I drink plenty of water and get at least 7-9 hours of sleep each night.
@raquelcoe not daily, but near daily. they're fairly mild though.

@raquelcoe I have also gotten a few headaches but mine are manageable. I feel like it happens more when I’m tired or sometimes when I first wake up I almost feel hungover ?
