  • @Brittanymorris we are all here for you! Don’t apologize! Take care of yourself! My inbox is also open if you need some to just listen. ❤️
  • @brittanynmorris here to echo what the others have said. Take the space and time you need. We are here for you. My inbox is open if you need someone.
  • @brittanynmorris big hugs! My inbox is also open and I hope you can find some time to recharge this weekend.
  • @darkrose88 which double stroller did you get?
  • @brittanynmorris Thinking of you, we’re here for you when you’re ready.
  • @bridgiebee82 Omg, I love that dog 🤣🤣🤣

@starkette Pretty sure I answer half of all student questions with, "It's on the syllabus."
  • @darkrose88 that’s really cool. I have the Joovy Caboose from kiddos one and two and that thing is awesome. I might have to consider this if we are going to be doing more things out and about next year.
  • @darkrose88 @mdfarmchick I have a joovy caboose double and I love it. I ended up buying it because my double didn’t fit in my trunk so I bought the Joovy. It’s lightweight but sturdy and roomy but also compact.

  • @darkrose88 yay back in stock! It'll be some time before I consider buying another stroller so I hope this stays in stock! How easy/hard is it to open/collapse?
  • @itsme215 I totally feel ya. I shower daily and sometimes I’m just do i haveeee to? Like last night.
  • @itsme215 I shower daily, but I don't wash my hair every day. My hair is so curly that it breaks if I wash it too often. I can't remember the last time I blow dried my hair because that's just exhausting. I'm sorry you're feeling so tired from it.
  • Here’s my random for the day. I bought a brand new SUV the other day and I am literally in LOVE with it. If anybody is in the market I just purchased a 2022 VW Atlas with the bench seat and it sits 7. So far super good in the snow and all around a nice driving vehicle. Also it’s car seat lady approved which was a driving factor in buying it. You can lift the second seat to get to the 3rd row with a car seat installed. 😍
  • @wigglyicecream could you fit a rear-facing car seat in the 3rd row?

@coco2787 I’m not 100% sure but I can look and see what it says. For some reason I think the answer is yes.

ETA she says yes you can fit some in the third row but with the seats being elevated you risk bumping the kids head on the roof trying to get them in and out of the seat. Says the 3rd row is best suited for adults and teens.

  • @darkrose88 Thank you!  This is just what I need For my older big + new baby.
  • @wigglyicecream the Atlas is one that I am considering. Did you get the 2022?
  • @mdfarmchick I did. 2022. I got the SE mostly bc I didn’t want to spend more on fancy things that I didn’t need. It has heated seats, and car play which were my only two requirements since I had both in the Jetta. I didn’t even care if it came with leather seats ( it did). I was very pleasantly surprised how it handled in the snow. It has a bunch of “modes” eco, normal, sport, snow, off road, and custom.
  • @bridgiebee82 but you are nicer than me… I just wasn’t going to even answer her…
  • @starkette so I'll be honest I hadn't tried to open & close it myself yet, but decided to try tonight before responding. It was not very intuitive on how to open and close but once I tried a few times I was able to do it very easily (and can see myself easily being able to do it with two kiddos if I was taking them somewhere by myself). Although we don't own a second seat or bench yet, I've read you can fold it without having detach them. I'll say the stroller is not light weight (lugging it around close wasn't that fun) but considering it can support 110lbs of weight, this is not unsurprising. However, using the stroller is a dream. It is so easy to manuvre and can handle bumpy sidewalks without issue.

@lmaplejc that's exactly what I thought when I started reading about this stroller. Most double strollers don't accommodate older kids. I love that this was designed to do just that. I actually was just watching a video and a mama of 3 said her 6 year old still uses the bench! I'm convinced I'll get several years out of this with both kids.
  • My random - Baby seems to like to party between 9-12pm in the evening based on the times I notice it moving. This does not bode well for the future.
  • @leahrnmom definitely gender neutral to me!
  • @brittanynmorris take your time, and as others have said, feel free to message me if you need or want to.

I am kind of freaking out about the car seat situation, not gonna lie. I have a Civic, but we also have MH’s full-cab Tacoma and his company-provided Escape. We’re gonna have to decide if we need (want?) bases or seats in all the vehicles (on the highly unlikely chance MH has to do drop off or pick up on one of his local days), and I have a lot of research to do just to make sure the seat we pick FOR my car will fit IN my car.

I will say this: I had considered a coupe and I’m very glad 2017-me vetoed that idea. I do wish 2017-me had gone with her gut and held out for the C-RV she really wanted though.

  • @darkrose88 thanks for the thorough review! That's all great info, exactly what I look for when reading reviews. I don't mind it being heavier, I usually only lift it in and out of the car. The stroller we have now is good EXCEPT it's a nightmare to open. I don't know who designed it this way, but it's ridiculous. I've never had a stroller that's so weird and difficult to just open. But we got it because the handlebar can switch from forward facing to rear facing and I love capability. Seems rare, though.

@leahrnmom definitely gender neutral and so sweet! I love Little Planet stuff.
  • @leahrnmom that is adorable and I agree with it being gender neutral. Now I want one…
  • @darkrose88 that's a totally normal time for them to party in utero! Your movement during the day rocks them to sleep, and then when you sit down to rest in the evening that's when they wake up and play.

@leahrnmom that romper is so precious, but I think only one of my boys could have pulled it off. The other one had such a broey face as an infant he didn't look right in "precious" stuff (but he looked so precious in onesies and footy pajamas).

@leahrnmom I agree that’s it’s gender neutral and have already almosttttttt bought the cream colored one! Lol. I am totally loving the pointelle trend!
  • @starkette no problem! There are also reviews on YouTube as well, if you want second opinions, especially when it comes to using it with two kiddos. I watched one last night and found it really informative on the practicality of using it.

@wisewitch222 I do recall that with DS. Although as he got larger, he would pretty much move around in my womb whenever I was sitting lol (which I do a lot with my desk job). If baby is anything like its sibling, I'm imaging this one won't keep still too.
