So either lightening crotch is suddenly in full effect tonight or homegirl is donkey kicking me right in the cervix. Maybe she liked those flautas and queso I ate? 😂

I had tacos for dinner, it’s been fun since I apparently seem to be a bouncy house lol😛 though none of the other stuff thankfully, hope that gets better for ya 💜
  • Praying I can actually get some decent sleep tonight. Insomnia has been back and it just plain sucks!!

  • I don't know if it's a cold or rhinitis or allergies or covid (ive taken two negative rapid tests so I guess not) but I am so over blocked sinuses and sinus headaches.

It feels like my head is going to explode.
  • Anyone else suffering from joint pain? Just me?Basically my knees just kill me at night and during sleep. Dr. said to put my feet up often but I’m a SAHM with a 2yr old, so no luck with that, haha.
Also, I can feel my hip pop at night sometimes when I turn. Fun times.  :#
  • @jandawg I feel you. Rhinitis + frequent colds that turn into sinus infections + headaches… it feels like there is no relief!! I’ve found the netti pot to help a bit. Sometimes Tylenol helps with the headaches.. sometimes it does nothing. Have you found any remedies?
  • @lydiandreu tons of joint pain over here. Mine has mostly been in my back and hips but I also was having leg pain at night too. I got some magnesium lotion (Earthley brand, Good Night Lotion) and it’s helped a ton! Here is the Amazon link, but its probably cheaper on their website, and a bunch of people on Instagram have discount codes
Earthley Wellness, Good Night Lotion, Magnesium Lotion, Apricot Oil, Shea Butter, Mango Butter, Candelilla Wax, Lavender Essential Oil, Vegan (Sensitive, 8 oz) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08173L45X/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_PNHTKKAWWY6Q743YYASA
  • Does anyone else feel like if you actually lay on your back that your bump significantly disappears?? Now I’m wondering how much bump I actually have and how much is just jigglypuff.
     😂😂😂

  • @MrsLaLaBug it magically disappears for me too. Though my husband tried to tell me his stomach was just as big as mine (he’s a twig so there’s absolutely no way even when not preggo). I proceeded to suck it in as much as I could and only the top half went in (kinda looked like after you had the baby and your stomach looks like a deflated balloon). It made him laugh.
  • @brookejay06 not much, I did finally take a Tylenol the other day but I don't think it really helped. A hot cloth across my sinuses has felt kind of nice. Tried breathright strips for a couple nights and those were okay.
  • Question- I don’t remember feeling this with my first so I’m wondering if anyone else has felt it…

I feel crampy in my low back and cervical area. Honestly it feels exactly like the day before you get your period. Just crampy and uncomfortable. I’m not having any contractions (not even BH). I can feel baby kicking around in there so I assume he’s fine, I’m just really uncomfortable.

    Does that sound normal?
  • @brookejay06 I’d say it’s def normal - IMHO if you think about it, between RLP, the relaxin hormones, the uterus growth in 2nd tri, becoming front heavier, hydration levels, even maybe overdoing it on activity/exercise/everyday things - having some cramping feelings can be caused by so many things. But always trust your gut and if you feel more pain than you think you should it never hurts to call in. 💜💜💜

  • @MrsLaLaBug Thank you ♥️ This was reassuring. It’s not super painful so my gut says I’m okay - however it is uncomfortable.

I ended up texting my midwife just to make sure and she said if it’s not gone tomorrow to come in and she’ll check for a UTI. Apparently the symptoms of a UTI can manifest like the achy/cramps I’m experiencing.
  • @brookejay06 ahh the good old UTI… add that one to my above list too 😂😂 Hopefully it’s just the normal aches and pains of pregnancy and you get some relief!! 💜

  • @brookejay06 I was having similar pains last week and practically lived with a heating pad on my back. It did resolve itself after like 2 days, so I’m assuming it was my body just adjusting to a growing uterus. Hope you feel better!
  • I've had one yeast infection in my entire life, and this pregnancy now I've had two. Arghhhhhhhh must be all that extra estrogen with three female bodies in one  :D

  • Oh no @jackdetroit I’m sorry! That’s the worst! My body HATES antibiotics and my doctor knows to just automatically write me a diflucan script every time I have to get the big horse pill abx for something. 🤦🏼‍♀️

  • @jackdetroit ahhh the worst.😩
  • Snissing. If you know, then you know. 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

  • @MrsLaLaBug happened to me the other day for the first time. Not a fun surprise!

I've also had some insomnia the past two nights. I'm easily able to fall asleep but wake up around 4/5 and am up for the rest of the day 😭
  • I pee when I sneeze, cough, and even when I’m throwing up 🥴 This is definitely the one pregnancy symptom I was NOT prepared for. I thought I retired my pads for a while, but I’ve had to bust them back out just to make it through the day!
  • @MrsLaLaBug ugh yes. This has been one of the worst parts of covid- the unexpected sneezes and random coughing fits. My body can’t handle it 😅
  • Y’all. I think I’ve reached a new pregnancy low. I had a dream that I was standing in the back door frantically calling one of my dogs. He had run into the woods after a squirrel. I wasn’t running after him, didn’t even set food into the yard. Just hollering his name. I woke up and was out of breath. WTAF. 😂😂😂

  • Nausea!!! Didn’t have it in first trimester but upset stomach, nausea and insomnia
  • @MrsLaLaBug I woke up yelling in my sleep the other night too, woke up my husband in a panic lol 😅 such vivid dreams.
  • Im getting like pulsing pain on my lower right side (like kind of above/inside of my hip bone) off and on the past couple days. Does this sound like RLP to anyone? Or has anyone had this?
  • @brookejay06 i felt like that the beginning of December and it was a uti
  • Does anyone get more bloody noses when pregnant? I'm not sure if it's just the dry, cold weather or pregnancy. The only other time I can remember having so many bloody noses was after I had DS. I'm wondering if maybe the increased blood flow had something to do with it...
  • @runninginva I think that's a pregnancy thing. (I mean, it's obviously a cold thing too lol, but yeah I think we're more susceptible.) I know gum bleeding is a lot more prevelant too, so it kinda makes sense to me at least.
  • @runninginva I haven't personally had one, but I've been told from multiple women to not be freaked out if they happen. I feel like I've seen it as a symptom on some apps too.
  • @runninginva yep!! I have been getting them plus I have the bleeding gums too. Every pregnancy I get both!! It’s just from the double the blood volume. But true that the weather never helps! 😭

  • I’ve had a few bloody noses early on and now i just have hard bloody boogers, sorry…tmi. My gums are super sensitive though and get bloody easily when i floss. Totally normal.
  • @runninginva yes! I have bloody noses real often right bow, especially in the mornings!
  • One of the most annoying things from my first pregnancy was getting hemorrhoids.
I was hoping to be spared this pregnancy but I had one pop up last night and it just really upset me. I went to sleep terribly annoyed about it being a thing again. I’m not even constipated and I’ve been super regular, so I’m just mad and sad altogether. 😡😢 Haven’t had any since I gave birth over 2 years ago.
I also got them super bad from pushing during childbirth.
So I guess I’m gonna have to get used to the idea of this being a thing again for the rest of the pregnancy. 😭
Just needed to vent about this; thanks for reading!

@lydiandreu mine popped up practically as soon as the stick turned pink, and pretty much have stayed since. I rarely had flare ups in the last couple years, so it's definitely not my "normal" to have them. I was so mad when I got them with DD because I thought I did a really good job not straining, etc. and by the end she was just so heavy, that's when they first cropped up. it's truly the worst! hope you get some relief from yours, at least temporarily.

  • Anyone here dealing with SPD? It’s getting bad here already only at 21 weeks…. I’m not thrilled about it. First pregnancy it started in the 30s, last time maybe mid 20s, I can’t believe how early it set in. It just feels like so much pelvic pressure and pain walking. I’ve been doing regular chiro and pelvic floor exercises but it turns out I want escape this 😫
  • @tacosandtums so I don’t have that, but I had horrible pelvic pain at the end of my third trimester with my first, lived through it since it wasn’t for very long but man I couldn’t even go for walks anymore because it felt like my bones were going to shatter. Getting in and out of bed was so painful because of how it moved my pelvis. Here we are pregnancy #2 and I have my maternity support belt at 20 weeks because it was getting unbearable to go for a walk without one. It’s already acting up I can’t even imagine how brutal it’s going to be with months left to go 😰 I was referred to pelvic floor therapy at the end of my first pregnancy, but never went because I just couldn’t find the time to do it. I should have!
  • Saturday night I woke up twice with leg cramps, the first time it’s happened with this one. With the other two these were theeee worst as I got farther along. I ordered the 8 sheep organic lotion, I’ve heard great things about it so I’m hoping it helps!
  • I don’t have time to go on here most weekends, so catching up:
Nose bleeds are totally common. I wouldn’t say I get full on “bleeds”, but definitely always get blood when I blow my nose every morning.
It looks like someone shot me in the mouth every time I floss. It was the same first 2 pregnancies. Freaks hubby out that I just keep going through a mouthful of blood…
I have read a few drops of witch Hazel on a panty liner can be soothing for hemorrhoids. Never tried it myself, so can’t really speak to it, but may be worth a shot if you’re in a lot of discomfort.
I don’t get SPD so much as my lady bits swell right up (tmi. I know) if I’m on my feet too long. Hella uncomfortable and soooo irritating. Not really a thing you talk much about, but I’ve never heard of anyone else getting this. It’s not a “concern” to me as I had the same my first 2 pregnancies. Damn blood volume increase…
My first pregnancy (DD1 March 2018), I thought my girlie had broken a rib I was in so much pain at the end of pregnancy. Second pregnancy (DD2 born March 2020) I had 0 issues with it. Not even a twinge. This pregnancy, DD3 is all up in my ribs ALREADY! Or my organs are jammed up and putting pressure on them as I don’t think she’s even that high yet. But over 3 months to go, this is going to get wildly uncomfortable. It’s the worst during the workday as I spend all day sitting at my desk. When I’m out and about on the weekends, no issues.
  • @happynapper I had my first leg cramp last week and I forgot how bad they are 😭

I used to get them all the time in HS after long sports days due to lack of water, so I've upped my water intake, but let me know how you like the lotion! If I get another one it's on my list to try.
