@lindsaybelle though I don’t have experience with this myself, I just want to offer support. It sounds like you are in good hands but I can imagine it is very scary. Sending lots of good vibes your way.
@mrs-kay929 I'm so sorry, my thoughts are with you.
@lindsaybelle I had a subchorionic hemorrhage with my second pregnancy. It definitely made me freak out, too, but it healed without issue and my daughter is 3 years old now. I had a smaller one and bled for two weeks, bright red period-like blood. I know someone who had a large one a bled a lot and it never had an impact on the baby. It's weird and scary to go through but can have positive results. Just take it easy.
We lost the pregnancy. You guys really are the best. I’m absolutely devastated. I hope you all continue on to have a happy and healthy rest of your pregnancies. I hope I can chime back in here before august with a good update.

After light brown spotting since 5 weeks, I had some brighter pink to red and a tiny clot the other night. I saw my ob yesterday and we found a tiny subchorionic hematoma. It scared the heck out of me because they said I could spot after the ultrasound but I wiped a few hours after and it was fire engine red fresh blood and that was after a regular u/s. They said if it continued, to go to the office this morning but thankfully it never happened again. It turned brown and went away by bedtime. These next 30 weeks can't go fast enough so I can hold this baby. I've had 5 losses and its been a mind*uck with all the various and random spotting.
I have a sub hematoma. I bled on and off for about 3.5 weeks, still sometimes I have brown spotting. But everything looked good ultrasound wise. We have another ultrasound Jan 11 to see if the hematoma got smaller or healed
@bearmomma1 oh love, I am so, so sorry to read this update! Please be sure to take care of yourself and give yourself grace in this healing. I look forward to an update from you! I’m sending you all the love and hugs, and positive vibes for the future. ❤️
Bleeding pretty heavy again, this time with a pretty big clot. I’m trying my hardest not to freak out because Dec 16th I was told I have a subchorionic hematoma. But anyone else with a sub hematoma have clots and everything turn out ok ?
@amberrmariee20 I don’t have any experience, just want to offer some support. I’m really sorry that you are dealing with this. It sound super scary, even if you have a reason for the bleeding. I hope you can get in with the your doc tomorrow and get some reassurance.
@maggiemadeit I’m at the hospital now, they did a quick bedside ultrasound and so far baby looks good, heart is fluttering, they are sending me for a more detailed ultrasound in an hour to check the Hematoma.
I woke up yesterday morning with blood in my underwear. I am 10 weeks. I was spotting when I wiped all morning and then it turned to bright red blood when I wiped. But surprisingly, nothing in the toilet. I had a miscarriage at 12 weeks recently, my d&c was October 1st. I was totally freaked out that I was having another miscarriage. I went in for an ultrasound and baby is fine, but they did notice a bleed and they told me to drink lots of water while I wait for the results from the doctor. I’m still spotting today, but very very light. I am so nervous to hear the reason for the bleed, and I can’t even relax knowing that the baby is okay because what if something is really wrong?
@knottie I'm sorry you're going through this. I would be equally as stressed waiting for a call back from the doctor. Hopefully you get that call back soon and everything is fine.
@knottie I’m so sorry you’re going through this and I can imagine how scary it is for you, especially having already experienced a loss. It definitely takes some of the innocence out of the experience of being pregnant. I have a sch that hasn’t started bleeding yet, but I know I’ll be equally scared as you. My doctor did tell me that they’re very, very normal. I think as long as they have a cause (the bleed) and baby looks well, I would let my breath out for a couple minutes. It’s so much easier said than done, but try not to stress in the meantime. Sending you positive vibes and hugs.
@knottie I'm sorry, that's so scary. It's great that the baby is looking good in there. I hope you hear back from them soon, and everything turns out OK.
Hi everyone, Looks like I'll be saying goodbye to you all 😞 I went in for my follow up ultrasound today and all there was just an empty gestational sack. We are devastated, but I tried not to get my hopes up too high after the last ultrasound when I measured behind schedule. My body still hasn't naturally miscarried after 9 weeks so I'm scheduled for a D&C on Monday. I wish I had a different outcome for my first pregnancy experience, but it is what it is. I wish you all the best in your pregnancy journey.
I’m so sorry you didn’t get good news today @wunderkai I hope everything goes smoothly on Monday and you’re able to start the healing process 💜
