Yesterday evening I had slight brown coloring in my discharge and I just woke up to use the bathroom and it’s since turned bright red. I’m only 6w2d so I’m not sure what my doctor could do if I even called them about it. I never experienced any sort of spotting or bleeding in my last pregnancy so this is all new. I’m terrified. I also fell on the stairs last night on my way to bed.. really hoping the two aren’t connected but you never know I guess. My mind is completely racing with thoughts- all of them negative.
@mrs-kay929 I'm sorry you're going through this. I would call the office and see if they can schedule you for a ultrasound to make sure everything is ok. Thoughts and prayers to you.
@mrs-kay929 I think you should give your doctor a call. They can at least do an u/s to see if there is a reason for the spotting, and to check on baby. FX it’s nothing and just normal spotting!
Definitely cal your doc and see if you can be seen @mrs-kay929. Falls aren’t as big of a deal in first-tri because everything is teeny tiny and well protected in there but hopefully they’ll do an US to check on the bleeding. FX for you!

I called my doctor as soon as I could this morning. We went over everything and a long list of additional symptoms. Now I wait for a call back from the on call team and we go from there.. There's still spotting and I've already cried in my classroom this morning thinking about it. Trying my hardest to stay positive.
@anniemarie887 yep, bloodwork is where I'll be headed at noon. They did say that they get the results within an hour which is nice. We'll go from there. Thank you everyone for the kind words and support! I really appreciate it!
Thank you all for your kind thoughts and words. I’m sorry I’ve pulled back from the board. I guess I’m just expecting the worst on Friday and I’m having a hard time jumping in here since I’m thinking I’ll be leaving shortly anyway. Time couldn’t be going any slower. I’ll keep you updated on what happens 💙

After light brown spotting since 5 weeks, I had some brighter pink to red and a tiny clot the other night. I saw my ob yesterday and we found a tiny subchorionic hematoma. It scared the heck out of me because they said I could spot after the ultrasound but I wiped a few hours after and it was fire engine red fresh blood and that was after a regular u/s. They said if it continued, to go to the office this morning but thankfully it never happened again. It turned brown and went away by bedtime. These next 30 weeks can't go fast enough so I can hold this baby. I've had 5 losses and its been a mind*uck with all the various and random spotting.

@bearmomma1 Thinking of you today @jessieleesbg Sorry you’re dealing with the bleeding. Bleeding is never fun even when the nurses/doctors reassure you! Very glad they gave you some reassurance though
Just had my redraw and my OB appointment is in two hours. I'm not anticipating good news as I've been passing very large clots since Wednesday.. I'll update as soon as I can.
Hi All - my pregnancy has been a bit of a rollercoaster so far. I spotted continuously from week 4-6 when i did an early ultrasound and everything looked fine and baby was ok, midwife said spotting is common so I assume I am just one of those people. I went back for another ultrasound the following week (week 7) and again everything looked good and the spotting had stopped. Then this week (week 8) I started to spot heavier, and bleed enough to soak through my underwear. I started to notice clots in the toilet when I went to the toilet as well which made me really panic. I called the midwife again and went in for another ultrasound 2 days ago. Baby was again looking very healthy, measuring 8W6D with heartbeat of 176 (which was a relief!) but they also noticed 2 x subchorionic hemorrhages along with a large, 6cm fibroid. I was frustrated that these did not get picked up on the last scans. The midwife said at this time because of the location of the Fibroid I don't need to worry but I was sad to hear it was there as I had two large fibroids (20cm and 10cm) removed in 2020 and the surgery and recovery was very hard. I just hope it does not continue to grow throughout the pregnancy.
It seems that the bleeding is a result of the subchorionic hemorrhages, and I have been told to rest, no sex, nothing too active and just wait it out until my next scan at 12 weeks to see how they are progressing. The bleeding has stopped as of today so I am hoping it will hold off until week 12 (I will call back for another if it starts again). 4 weeks seems like a lifetime away and I know I have to just relax as there is nothing I can do but I was wondering if anyone else has had these in past pregnancies and what your experiences may have been? Its hard not to think of the worst...
Sorry, I know this is long but any others going through the same thing, or who have in the past, I would love to learn more!
I'm absolutely heartbroken to share that I will be leaving the group. My hcg levels have dropped to only 35 already. Thank you ladies for being so sweet through this difficult time.
I’m so sorry for your loss @mrs-kay929, be gentle with yourself in these coming weeks 💜
