@dimeadozen I was told last week I have a Subcoronic Hematoma and that’s why I was having “period like” blood. It was super bright red, and a lot, I thought for sure I was having another miscarriage. I’m still having brown blood daily (she said it was going to be normal for me to continue to bleed due to the hematoma) baby had a heartbeat of 105, and my HCG was 30,000 at 5w6d (6 weeks on ultrasound) hopefully yours is just something similar and everything is good
I woke up yesterday and just knew. Has an ultrasound today that confirmed it. 2 back to back MMCs at 8 and 9 weeks but that means we now can get all the genetic testing on DH and I so we'll finally get answers. So I'll be leaving this group. Sending love to you all. Maybe I'll be back someday.

Hi all, devastated to report that I am leaving the group. I had my first ultrasound this morning. The gestational sac was empty, the embryo did not develop. I’ve already called the Dads to let them know. Wishing you all happy and healthy pregnancies 💞

I am thinking I'm having (or already had) a MC. I've been bleeding on and off for last week. Yesterday was the ultrasound and they said I was measuring a week behind and the tech couldn't find a heart beat. They took my HCG yesterday and I go back Thursday to be sure. I'm just so sad, not knowing for sure is a special kind of hell. I cried the entire time I was at the midwives. And no one reassured me, no glimmer of hope. So I'm thinking this is it. No one can explain to you how this feels. The complete juxtaposition of being so so happy and then seeing a picture with no movement. For those of you who are dealing with this. Where do you go from here? How quickly will you try again?
@daffodil_shoe I'm so so sorry! That is such sad news for everyone involved.
@elliespen I'm so sorry you're going through this. *TW* we've had two previous losses, and generally waited a few months to grieve and then started trying again.
@elliespen I think it’s important to give yourself time to grieve. I’ve been where you are, multiple times and it’s never easy but it does get better. You’ll know when/if the time is right to try again.
@elliespen everyone is different. After my loss in Sept my OBGYN recommends waiting one full cycle to start ttc again, which we did… and went back to trying. We had been trying for 8-9 mos at that point and just kept moving essentially.
@elliespen I’m so sorry. I’ve been there before and it is such a heartbreak. My doctor said that we were free to try again when we felt ready, but feeling ready is different for everyone. For us, we waited for the next cycle, but even then ‘trying’ felt different than before, and it took a few months to feel like we were back to us again.
I’m not sure what to think. Midwife called me few mins ago and said I have a fibroid the 3 cm. And a subchorionic hematoma, which she thinks may be the cause of the bleeding. She’s hoping it was too early to see heartbeat? But I should have been 7 weeks? Just such an in between feeling. HCG level was 5700.
@elliespen I had a subchorionic hematoma with my last pregnancy and had a lot of bleeding with it. I also know that my midwives won't do an U/S until after 8 weeks just in case they can't find a heartbeat. Guard your heart just in case, but this doesn't necessarily mean the end. And 5700 is still within the normal range, hopefully on Thursday you will see a rise. Fingers crossed for you!
My husband and I went in for our first ultrasound today at 6w3d. They found a gestational sac but no heartbeat. They said it looked like my baby stopped growing last week and declared it a miscarriage. I’ve been on progesterone and working with a fertility clinic since July. We got pregnant through Clomid and an IUI this last month. I will now be going off my meds to bleed naturally and pass the tissue. We are heartbroken and will be leaving this page. Thank you for your support and care.
