I haven't had any spotting the whole pregnancy until this morning... Light brown discharge. I know that means old blood, so I'm hoping that's the case.
I'm 11w3d, and I've been feeling so much better the last few days that I've been more active, and it feels good to be active. (And I enjoyed some active adult time with the hubs yesterday morning for the first time since becoming pregnant.)
Hoping it's nothing. I'll call my OB tomorrow if I see more... 🤞🙏
Update: I started having light bleeding. I'm at a loss to what I can even do on a Sunday ...
  • @velvetblue88 Your OB should have an on call doctor who will talk to you and determine what can be done, if anything needs to be done. It is possible for sex to irritate the cervix and cause bleeding. But I would absolutely call the doctor and speak to whoever is on call.

(maybe I only ovulate in October XD)
  • @tuxielove93 I decided not to call. There was only the small bit of blood a few hours ago, and it's just been small bits of brown since then. I sent a message to my OB, so their nurse will see it first thing. I have my 12wk appointment 1/10, but I'm hoping they'll see me this week. Trying to rationalize that it's normal, and it hasn't gotten worse (and I'm not cramping). Trying to stay positive until I know otherwise.
  • Hi! I'm 13 weeks today and I had bright red bleeding at 10 weeks. Stopped after a few wipes. Doctors said it was just my placenta attaching to my uterus and is very common around 10 weeks. Bleeding can be common and only when it's severe is it worrisome. ❤
  • I had a very tiny spot of dark red blood earlier. And now I’m convinced I have cramping but I’m hoping it’s just a mental thing.
*TW* 4 years ago I had a missed miscarriage at 11.5 weeks. I’ll be 12 weeks tomorrow and this past week I’ve been thinking of that a lot. Hopefully it was just a fluke thing because I have covid and my dr’s office won’t see me until it’s been 14 days since my symptoms started. I’m sure if it gets worse they’d send me to the ER or something for an ultrasound but as of now I have to wait 8 more days to see babe for the first time and know that they’re doing okay in there 😕
  • @melanier26 hopefully just a fluke. And if you’ve been straining while coughing, that could cause some bleeding too. 🤞🤞 Hoping everything is ok and you see no more blood.
  • @melanier26 fingers crossed for you!
  • @melanier26 sex can also cause bleeding from cervical irritation!! Hopefully it's just a fluke.

  • @melanier26 🤞🤞🤞 I agree and hope @sunshineandlemons is right. It could just be straining from coughing. Big hugs. I know this waiting period is not easy 😞
  • @melanier26 hope you’re feeling better!!

Wondering if anyone has had regular spotting this whole time? 1-2x a week for me and often bright red. Been happening since 6 weeks and I’m now 12 weeks 2 days.  I’ve talked to the doctor about it and she’s not worried (good ultrasounds) but I can’t help but freak out a little. This would be my 3rd and I had no spotting whatsoever with the other 2…
  • @sconniegrl Yeah, I keep having spotting off and on the last couple of weeks (13w today), but everything looks good for baby, so... 🤷‍♀️ The doc suggested it might be coming from my cervix. I know intercourse or constipation can cause spotting due to the cervix. Weird.
  • So glad everything looks good with the baby, @velvetblue88!

Ugh I’m so tired of waiting for my ultrasound. I have brown spotting and cramping today 😔 12 weeks 4 days. Ultrasound is scheduled for 3 days from now

Update: There was blood mixed with the mucus when I just went to the bathroom. I talked to the doctor and she said we’ll just keep the appt for Tuesday unless the bleeding picks up, then I should head to the ER
  • I am leaving you, mamas. I miscarried our baby. I wish you all healthy pregnancies and babies ❤️
  • @melanier26 I am so sorry for your loss. Sending love your way.
  • @melanier26. Oh no, I am so sorry. Please take the time you need to take care of yourself and heal. Miscarriage (especially this late) is truly the worst.
