It seems like they’re open on Friday’s but leave their phone lines off. I called the answering service and left a message with them. Now I just hope for a return call.
I couldn’t get a call back from my current provider so I called my old doctor. Felt kind of bad about it since I have no intentions of seeing her, but I am assured the baby is ok so that’s what matters.
We saw the flicker of his/her heart but couldn’t measure it this early.
Glad things are ok and looking forward to seeing baby again on Tuesday or my already scheduled appointment
@becks105 usually brown spotting is nothing to worry about, just a small amount of old blood mixed in with your normal discharge. Of course you are welcome to call your provider. With my 2nd keeper, I constantly had brown spotting. No idea why.
I think I am going to call. I have my 8week appointment on Tuesday so part of me is like just wait it out. But I am such an anxious person and I don’t know if I can sit here and worry for three and a half days. I have some mild cramping occasionally and it seems to be less discharge every time I go to the bathroom. But now I’m also analyzing all of my other pregnancy symptoms. My boobs aren’t as sore this am. I haven’t been as nauseous. Are those all bad signs? Or can symptoms come and go, can’t they?
Sadly, I think I’m about to have my second loss. I had a bad feeling on Friday when my boobs stopped feeling sore and my FRER test lines weren’t getting darker. I got my blood drawn and measured at 43 iu/l and progesterone at 8. I’m going back tomorrow to check again but today I’ve started to spot. Im supposed to be 5 weeks tomorrow. As short as my time has been here, I’ve enjoyed being apart of this group. I wish you all healthy pregnancies and happiness ❤️

My Hcg numbers didn’t double. They went from 93 to 162 in about 48 hours. The lady said it’s at least 60% which is the minimum they’d like to see, but they’re having me go again tomorrow for a 3rd check. I’m freaking out. My H has been researching at it seems like it’s OK, but I’m still nervous what the next check will bring.

@bearmomma1 a friend of mine had slow-rising hCG with her IVF baby (65, 99, 155 each two days apart). Her little miracle is 7 months old. Don’t give up hope yet!
I’m sorry you didn’t get more reassuring numbers @bearmomma1, but definitely don’t count yourself out yet! HCG can take 48-72 hours to double and like you said, as long as the increase was at least 60% it’s still in the normal range. Sending you hugs, I’m waiting for results from my 3rd beta too, I know how much the waiting and uncertainty sucks.

I got my betas drawn Saturday and this morning, my results from this morning were posted first and it’s at 4,196. I’m 5 weeks today. I don’t know if that doubled from Saturday but a week ago today I was at 289 so I feel good about the increase.
And side note for those of you still analyzing your pregnancy test lines- even with my hCG in the thousands I still don’t get consistent dye stealers.

Am I allowed to start a thread asking some questions about experience about blighted ovum? I’d never even heard of it until now, but I’ve just had my first us and all we had staring back at us was an empty sac.
I started spotting on Friday. I saw the doctor and the baby appeared healthy! I've had brown spotting ever since. I was seen yesterday (my original scheduled first appointment) and baby looked good again. I'm going to get my blood taken tomorrow to run some tests to ensure everything is ok. The doctor didn't see a bleed so doesn't know why this is happening. It's always been brown/gray but it's really weird that it's so much and pretty much all day. Staying positive for now.
@dimeadozen sending you lots of positive thoughts and crossing my fingers and toes everything will work out. I had some bleeding with my second baby, it scared me for sure. I didn't have any with my first pregnancy so I didn't know what it meant. It was a subchorionic hemorrhage which is pretty normal apparently and not a threat to baby. But I bled for two weeks steadily. I know the cervix can also be tender and bleed, which can be brownish too.

I’ve been going on almost a week now. It’s just so strange since it’s brown. Obviously I don’t want it to be red, but no answers! I got my blood taken for labs today to test progesterone to see if it’s dropped any and urine but I don’t know what that’s for.
