@pajamstagrams oh no! The sugary cravings are doing me in over here. I basically stopped eating all sugary things after my surgery - like all desserts, sweets, etc. And of course the old wivesβ tale with this girl is true for me, Iβm craving sweets and desserts and all the sugary things all the time and it is NOT pretty. Yesterday I think I had too many Christmas tree cakes and stomach was not happy at all. πππ
I had a craving for French fries and cherry coke tonight. DH came home with just the fries like me asking for a carbonated drink was no big deal(I canβt really drink them anymore). So I cried and asked him why he hated me. πππ Hormones FTW!Β
I want all the chocolate... Chocolate chip cookies, hot chocolate, chocolate covered pretzels.... Bump said I'm supposed to gain 1 lb a week. With these cravings, I'll be gaining a lot more. π€¦
I hit 14 weeks and nothing sounds good anymore. Last week I would have sacrificed my left arm for a Reuben sandwich. Now I had to force myself to eat lunch. Pregnancy is so wack.
@tacosandtums ugh food aversions were one of my least favorite things about the first trimester.
New Craving: Sweet Chili Doritos. Give me all the bags π€€
New Crying: When Arthur in The Holiday walks into his reception and it's a full audience. I've seen this movie many times and have never cried, but damn it got me.Β
Reason I cried today: Unbeknownst to me, the only Arbyβs we have in town closed after Hurricane Ida and never reopened. I really wanted a roast beef sandwich π
ETA: I drove 30 mins to the next closest one and got my dang sandwich.
@MrsLaLaBug I have been craving Arbyβs for weeks ever since my DH mentioned picking it up on our way to watch his nephew play baseball in the championship game and I have yet to get it so I am quite jealous.
@maddieaddiemay I've cried watching Deadpool when I wasn't pregnant so... I'm sure it would be even worse if I watched it now.
Emotionally I've been pretty good so far, but DH was playfully annoying me and poking me this morning, and I had to tell him he better back off because I was getting hangry and could feel the pregnancy rage starting to build up inside.Β π
