@mojoflower@ctgreen47 welcome to the group and thanks for sharing your stories! FX these months bring us all POSITIVE news 🤞🏽
@adamae1216 that totally makes sense to do an ERA! October is still a great month to transfer ☺️
I know eating pineapple, lucky socks, etc are totally superstitions but I totally agree with @skyee87 that it makes it a tab bit more fun! Also, if this is an excuse to eat McDonald’s fries I’m here for it lol.
AFM just slowly creeping towards my transfer date (9/16) and getting so nervous! Lining check is next Thursday, wish me luck!
Hello everyone, I would like to join the hurry up and wait game! I am new here but not new to infertility, I will include a list of my journey which will include ***TW – loss and success
@slim000, @knottiee829, @cmhme, and @bender29 – wow, you all had babies in 2020, and now trying again together, that is all kinds of awesomeness!
@bender29, I am your transfer twin, lol.
@relizabethp, I am so sorry for your loss and I hope your recovery is smooth and quick so you can try again.
@remeoandjuliet146, did you get your calendar yet?
@skyee87, it’s no fun they have to do another saline ultrasound but it’s an important step for a better chance of success.
@adamae1215, I totally understand the emotional rollercoaster. I think the trip is a great idea, it will help to keep you occupied.
@mojoflower, what did you decide to do regarding the ERA? Its hard when you must make a decision like that. I have a Hydrosalpinx that is bigger than the last time we did a transfer. I have decided to continue but now I am having second thoughts. Its hard for me because we are moving and timing is critical.
@ctgreen47, hope your AF comes quickly so you can get the ball rolling again. We will be rooting for a thick lining!
Looking forward to keeping up with all your updates!!

@sabriana welcome transfer twin! It seems forever away, yet so close!
My twin DS were sick this week, and tested for covid and strep. On top of being terrified they might have covid, I was also worried that it was going to mean pushing back transfer and that all the meds thus far would have been a waste.
Thankfully everything was negative and they appear to be mostly back to themselves. But man it was a stressful week.
Hey all - I joined this forum last month and have learned so much. I had my FET on Sept 2. It was the only euploid embryo out of the 6 eggs I had frozen 2 years ago when I was 37. So far all seems well. These PIO shots are awful. The actual shot isn’t the issue but ugh the constant pain throughout the day!!!! I’ve been using a heating pad on my butt but want to be careful not to overheat. I get my blood test on the 12th and I’m debating doing an early response test before that just for some peace of mind.
@mbl82 congrats on your transfer!!! Sending tons of good juju your way! ❤️ I definitely hear you on how annoying the PIO shots are! I wish I could be of more help there but I totally had a horrid time with mine. Can’t wait until your beta day! 🙌
@mbl82 Welcome and congrats on your transfer! So exciting! For my ERA cycle, I did PIO and used ALL the tips and tricks and still ended up with small knots and pain. So I understand you completely. It just wasn’t fun at all. Wishing you the best for your upcoming beta!
@mlb182 congrats on your transfer. Fingers crossed for a stick embryo. The question of testing before the beta is always hard. I've never been in the TWW but I think that is what I'm dreading most. I'll probably want to pee on all the sticks but then I want to have some feeling of hope until the very end. Ugggh!
@romeoandjuliet146 yes I'm moving ahead with the ERA. I went in today for my baseline and start etrace today. I go back in for monitoring on the 17th.
It has been quiet but I'm sure things will pick up soon.
Hope everyone has been well.
I start PIO today. Went a few days ago for my last lining check/bloodwork. My lining is almost 13mm, I know they like it thick but my worries is it getting too thick, my transfer is on Friday (9/17).
@sabriana you kind of freaked me out, and I had to go check my calendar! I also have my transfer on Friday, but I don’t start PIO until Monday. My lining yesterday was just over 13mm, they didn’t mention it being close to too thick or anything. Last time it was too thick at that ultrasound and I had to start that cycle over. I did start developing a follicle, so they are having me come in for an extra blood test tomorrow just to be sure I don’t ovulate, but she wasn’t too concerned. TW other children mentioned
We are trying really hard to keep this round a secret/surprise from our friends and family. We have been really open about our fertility struggles, and I think EVERYONE knew about our last round where we got our twins. This round we are hopeful to get a little bit of the fun of surprising friends and family if it works. I convinced my mom to take our twins next Thursday through Sunday by telling her we have a bunch of stuff to do outside before winter hits (which we really do 😂) but this will give us childcare for the transfer and while I’m laying around on bed rest over the weekend. Except now she’s deciding she’s going to stay at our house on Thursday night and take them home Friday morning. Which is obviously a problem because it’ll be hard to get out the door in the morning without raising suspicion.
@romeoandjuliet146 this week! Not looking forward to it (had some cramping last time around) but also anxious to get it out of the way!
@sabriana@bender29 I have heard that PIO compacts your lining so my guess is y’all are in the clear if your RE hasn’t said anything and got you started on it. 🙏
@mbl82 I hope your blood test went well today! @skyee87 oh interesting, thanks for sharing that information, it's one thing less to worry about. @bender29 wow, we even have the same lining number, lol. I hope your DS is feeling better! @romeoandjuliet146 Hope your upcoming ultrasound goes well. slim000, mojoflower, adamae1216, ctgreen47, ctgreen47 and everyone else, I hope everything is going smoothly and as planned! Looking forward to updates....
Yes it’s been quiet! @sabriana welcome and FX for a successful cycle!
@mbl82 I hope everything went well with your transfer and you are getting some great news soon!
@bender29 I agree, it is so hard keeping it from family! That’s great that you were able to come up with a good cover story though! We have been trying to keep this cycle a secret from family but it’s very difficult for us because we need to travel for the transfer. Unfortunately I ran out of excuses for leaving town so I had to spill the beans.
Sounds like things are really starting to pick up for this group, prayers for sticky embabies all around!!
AFM I had my second lining check on Thursday, lining is looking good at 10.3mm so I started my PIO shots on Saturday. Every time I start my shots I have a nurse draw a circle around the area where we need to administer the shot. I pretty much know where it is but my DH likes to have a visual, it makes him feel better 😂 well I feel like they drew the circle so much higher on my bottom than they have before and now I’m so sore! Ugh, usually it’s not so bad.
(*child mentioned*)
I have my transfer scheduled for Thursday and I’m sooooo nervous. I need to travel across the country, since that’s where my embabies are, and this time we are not taking my DD with us. This will be the longest she has been away from both my DH and I and it’s adding to my anxiety. Although… I am trying to look at this like a little “vacation” 🙃
@slim000 I like to have the nurse draw circles too. Will you travel back the same day after your transfer or wait? That's a good idea thinking of it as a vacation. You can rest after the transfer, have a nice meal, etc. Mine was in the morning, last time, and I enjoyed having a hot breakfast afterwards to relax.
@skyee87 I know what you mean. Saline ultrasounds are uncomfortable, but good to get it out of the way.
@slim000 if the circle is too high and giving you that much pain, ignore the circle and do the shots where you believe you should. Hindsight 20/20, that’s what I wish I had done in August (so apologies for the free advice lol). Hoping the PIO shots go by quickly and that transfer day is here in no time! 😁
@skyee87 thank you! The last one didn’t hurt as bad so maybe I’m just gonna get used to it 😬
Question for the group and sorry if it’s TMI 😆 Has anyone else done endometrin suppositories and do you feel like they just… fall out after a few hours?! Such a gross feeling when you are just sitting there minding your own business lol
*child mentioned*
@romeoandjuliet146 DH and I are traveling there two days before and staying two days after. The past two cycles I did were so stressful (one was a quick trip and the other I brought my DD) so this one I purposely wanted to take my time and have no responsibilities!
Hi everyone! I am new to this forum, but not new to infertility. I have a FET scheduled for Oct. I start meds at the end of this month. Praying for a successful outcome 🙏 as I'm sure all of you are! I do really love seeing some of your past success stories, they give me hope. A bit about me- I'm 38 and have never been pregnant. I had 1 tube removed and am told I have unexplained IF. I had 1 round of IVF a few years ago that resulted in 2 day 5 embryos being transferred and failed. This time around I had 4 embryos make it to day 5/6 blast. PGS testing left us with 1 normal tested girl, 1 unknown (didn't have enough DNA in the sample) and 2 bad ones. So we are doing this transfer with our tested embryo in Oct. I will say a prayer and cross my fingers for all of us!!
@ferndeezy Welcome and thanks for sharing your story! Hoping this group has all sticky embabies ☺️
@bender29 Thank you!! I just got back from my transfer, everything seemed to go well. I get chills every time I see that little flicker in the screen 😍
I’ve decided to rest a bit today (I’ve already devoured my McDonalds fries lol) and go for a light walk later this afternoon. Now begins the dreaded TWW and symptom watching!!
Hi everyone! I haven't posted on this forum in ages, but am happy to be joining back in.
Good luck to everyone who recently transferred! And good luck for smooth transfers today @sabriana and @bender29!
A bit about me. I am 32, H is 36. Our primary diagnosis is MFI (OAT), with a side dose of anovulation on my end just to keep things interesting. I had a retrieval in 2017 that resulted in 2 day 5 and 4 day 6 embryos (not PGS tested), and we'll be transferring one of those. I recently had my saline sono done and we're all clear, so - assuming that I can get my embryos moved to my new clinic in time - we're set to transfer mid-Oct. @ferndeezy, it sounds like you and I might be close, I'm also starting meds at the end of this month (lupron protocol). Currently in the middle of bc prep.
** LC mentioned below** We previously transferred one of the day 5s via FET in early 2018, which resulted in our S after what can only be described as a roller coaster of a 1st tri. Are just getting back around to transferring again now, with the remaining day 5 and 4 day 6s.
Would love to hear from you all… how do you stay positive during the TWW? It’s only been 24 hrs and I’ve already been so up and down. What tips do you have to share on staying hopeful? Omg… I can’t believe I have 9 more days of this lol.
Hi there @zwink1! I start oral Estrace at the end of the month and then after about 2 weeks he will add in POI 😞 and endometrium tabs through my transfer (obviously all timed out on my calendar but could move a day or 2 to the right or left).
Re: September/October 2021 FET
@adamae1216 Did your doctor get back to you about the ERA? Good you have a plan. Is your work trip coming up soon?
