I'm excited to see the transfers starting in our little group! I had my lining check today for my ERA cycle and it was over 11 so they said I would probably start PIO tomorrow evening.
@slim000 I like to stay positive, and for me, it is fun to go online and look at maternity clothes. It's just a way for me to stay in a happy state of mind.
Transfer went well. I needed to pee so badly, they wanted me to wait 10-15mins and I just couldn't, I got up immediately and went, 😢

Transferred our last 2 embryos. Apparently they weren't Assisted Hatching, so kind of relieved, I'm sure that's not the only reason they split but I know it's one of them.
@sabriana I wonder why they wanted you to wait. My clinic doesn't make me wait except I had to wait last time until the bathroom was free, and that was hard, ha.

afm currently on estradiol and PIO. I found using a heating pad after has helped. Did my lining check and bloodwork on Wednesday. I was nervous because last cycle was canceled due to low estradiol level, but the injections helped.

AFM, I had an incredibly light period a few days after my last dose of Provera which is NOT what happened the last time I took it. So, not sure what happened. Anyway, last Tuesday I woke up to some pretty intense cramping. So I thought maybe it was my period finally arriving in full force. But there was no bleeding. I decided to take an OPK. And it was a blazing positive. I called my nurse and she had me come in a couple days after for BW which confirmed that I had just ovulated. So, now I just wait for a period. If that happens (and I don’t actually have a lucky pregnancy lol), then I’ll begin BCP, have my baseline, and then estrogen. I told my nurse I’d like to do something different with my protocol this time to see if that helps my lining thicken. So, we’ll see. Based on the timing, I’m hopeful for a late October transfer!🤞🏽
Ok, who has to use the vivelle dot patches, or any other sort of patches? How the heck do you get the sticky line off your dang butt cheeks?! 😂 My poor butt is COVERED in sticky little black squares
@bender29 Lol! I use alcohol wipes to rub off the adhesive. That takes a hot minute though. But then I use an organic body oil that I have to rub on any adhesive residue that’s remaining and it does a pretty good job of removing all of it. I’m sure any type of body oil (coconut or cocoa butter, etc.) would work.
@ctgreen47 I took the estrogen pills and my lining was 8 for the canceled cycle then I took injections, for this cycle, and the lining went to 11. The injections are not bad and are only twice a week.
@bender29, I'm sorry you're not feeling well, I hope you feel better soon. What are your symptoms?
I was going to post the exact same thing, but flu-like symptoms. I feel like I've been hit by a bus. COVID test came back negative. I saw my PCP this morning and she ran some tests to rule out any sort of infection. Weirdly, she said my blood work came back great and my vitals were normal.
I have a horrible headache, achy body (especially legs), back hurts, loss of appetite, no fever but temp is 99.8, and the list goes on. This SUCKS!!!
@ctgreen47 DH and I had some extra time to just relax and spoil ourselves ☺️ It was nice to have some time to destress.
@bender29@sabriana sorry to hear you guys aren’t feeling well. BUT, hopefully that’s a good sign? Either way I hope you both feel better soon and get some great news! Do either of you plan to POS before your bloodwork? I’m going back and forth on what to do…

AFM… 5DPT and no obvious symptoms. I feel like I’m desperately reading into anything. Was that a cramp? A twinge? Do my boobs feel heavier or is that in my head? I can’t tell! I keep trying to remind myself with DD I had very few symptoms until further along. And so we continue to looong TWW ☺️
The squinter of all squinters!!! I don’t know why, but I really didn’t have positive feelings about this round. I know this really isn’t confirmed or anything, but maybe the positivity of seeing that FAINT line will help?!

I ended up in the ER last night, I'm still sick as a dog, even worse! They do not know what's going on with me. Body aches have gone away but now I just have the worse headache in the world and been vomiting from the pain and the vitamins/meds on a empty stomach, 😩 I tested yesterday at 5dpt and bfn. I'm a bit worried because all 3 of my transfers in the past, I had a vvfl at this stage, even with my chemical. At this point, I'm so sick I'm willing to stop all meds but I'm hanging in there.
I know I'm still not out yet though... I'm praying for God's will! I will update soon.

@sabriana oh no I’m so sorry you are feeling so sick! I hope you feel better soon. And I agree, a bfn at 5DPT could still be too early… there is still hope! I never test before 8dpt just bc if I see a BFN I want to be very sure and not drive myself crazy lol.
AFM I think I’ll test this Saturday although I’m not very hopeful at this point. Also praying for God’s will and peace with whatever the outcome will be 🙏🏽
@sabriana I'm sorry you're so sick. Do you think it's a reaction to one of the meds? I hope you feel better soon it doesn't affect implantation.

They didn't mention anything about the mock transfer when they called so of course I arrived without a full bladder. I wondered about it because my doctor mentioned it when I requested the ERA but when the nurse called with instructions it wasn't mentioned. I even checked the notes in my chart and it said nothing about a full bladder. 🤦🏾♀️ They gave me a water to drink and said I should be fine since I hadn't emptied since I woke up. It all worked out and the doctor said my transfer should be very easy. Let's hope so!
Hi everyone, late to join the group! Will read through the comments to get to know where everyone is up to. I had my son in 2016 through our first IVF cycle and will be attempting a FET in the next couple of weeks (period due tomorrow). We have two embryos on ice from 2016. AFM I just went to the bathroom and had some bright red when I wiped. I thought I saw some yesterday too but it was so minimal I wasn’t sure. This was definite… has anyone ever has spotting a week after a transfer? I’ve never spotted before while I was on my meds.
@skyee87 thanks! I left my nurse a voicemail, hopefully someone will get back to me today. I’m having mild cramping now, similar to when AF is coming. This is so weird, out of all the cycles I’ve gone through and been on meds I’ve never had bleeding before. Good or bad, I’m just really confused!
I was bleeding a little more so I took a test and to my surprise I got a BFP. But I’m still bleeding lightly, now a brownish watery color and cramping seems to have stopped. I’ve called my nurse and am waiting back. Please send good vibes/prayers my way 🙏🏽

@slim000, I'm sorry your spotting has you worried, has your nurse called you back yet? I hear about spotting/bleeding all the time, it seems very common and most of the time, the outcome turns out well.
@adamae1216, I'm not sure if it's from the meds, I've ask my nurse to have the doctor call me after sending her many messages. I think she's worried because she forgot to give me doxycycline this time around and when I asked, she said they normally do it for fresh transfers, but I had it the last 2 FETs
@skyee87 how it going? Did you have your salin/sono ultrasound yet?
Afm, I'm feeling somewhat better, still have the awful headache, nauseous and my back is all messed up. I tested again this morning and it's about the same, just slightly darker 😬. I can hardly wait for beta on Monday.

@sabriana@skyee87 I was able to get a hold of the nurse, she just said to continue medications and monitor any bleeding. If it gets heavy to call them back.

Thankfully the spotting seems to be that isolated incident. I think, and sorry if this is TMI, that bc I’ve been constipated I was straining a bit when going to the bathroom and I believe that triggered a little bleeding. Apparently constipation is my symptom of a BFP 🤷🏻♀️ Blood test is on Monday, I’ve never been so anxious for a weekend to be over lol. Good luck to all the beta tests coming up!
