I had my first US yesterday, and the follow up with my doc today! He says little bean is measuring at 6 weeks (right on schedule) and they did see the flicker of the heartbeat! I have to go back next week to get another reading of the BPM so they can get a better measurement of gestation. Doc says everything is encouraging, but I still feel nervous and know I'll be anxious all week waiting for the next appointment again.
@Car0liiine I transferred two embryos, so one of them must have split! The tech thinks it will be a vanishing twin since it was empty. I go back 8/6 to check on them!
First official OB appt today with bedside ultrasound and got to take a souvenir picture home ❤️ EDD confirmed for March 10th! 7+6 today and babe was measuring 8+1
First ultrasound was yesterday--baby was measuring exactly as expected at 7+0 and got to see the heartbeat! I won't go back until 12 weeks but so relieved to have a good first scan behind us
Had my first ultrasound last week. Babies measuring ahead of schedule by a couple days. I'm at 9+2 days now but here's my pic from last week (just joined the forum today lol). Little peanut has a good strong heartbeat too. Next ultrasound is August 17.
Finally got my ultrasound today...and I guess my own calculations were wrong..I'm actually 7 weeks pregnant, new updated due date March 22! I didn't get to hear the heartbeat but she told me it was there..little disappointed but glad to have a babe in there
Had my first ultrasound today. Measuring about a week behind (that I’m not surprised about based on my ovulation day vs calculated by LMP) but heart rate was low. Going back next week for a repeat
Finally got to my first ultrasound appt today and baby was measuring at 6w2d / EDD 28 March. Heart rate was 115bpm, which I thought was low but the doctor did not mention anything and some googling said that’s within acceptable range. Fingers crossed! I am one week behind where I thought I was probably because I have a long period (35 days) compared to the usual 4 weeks used when calculating EDD using LMP.
First ultrasound today! 7+4 based on LMP but measuring 8+2, so right on the cusp of changing our EDD. We decided to stick with the original March 19th date Edit to add- fetal heart rate was 179
Had our first US yesterday! I was measuring 6w 4d, 2 days ahead of what I had calculated, but everything looked good with a hb at 120. I go back in 4 weeks.
@jennifer_m21 congrats!!! No clue how i didnt put the pieces together earlier. Just saw your post in our fb group and was like DUH! I know her. Soooooo happy for you friend!
First appointment was Monday. LMP was a little hazy with 3 days of spotting before actual flow so I was interested to see how they would call it. Abdominal US showed one little dumplin' measuring 9 weeks even (4 days ahead of track based on lmp.) So EDD set at 3/7/22 for now. HR a nice quick 178. Next appt. at 12 weeks. I'm eager for things to move along now, it never feels really real for me until the belly.
Had my first ultrasound today! After being awake literally all night with anxiety… everything looked good. We saw a heartbeat. Baby measured 8+0, which puts me 2 days behind but makes sense based on when I think the conception happened! Lol TMI
anyhow, feeling relief and now I need a nap. Sending good vibes to all the ladies in here who are still looking forward to seeing that heartbeat for the first time!
I had my first ultrasound today too. They only did abdominal for me, so the picture isn't great (which is why I'm not attaching it) BUT we have the sweetest little blob with a healthy heartbeat!!!!! Measuring 8+2...so one day ahead of where I thought I was. I am sooooooo relieved!!!!
I got my first ultrasound today! First pregnancy. Wow it is amazing to see it moving around on the screen! My baby was very active moving their arms and legs all around, heart beating a way. The video was a much cooler experience than I thought it would be. Measured 1 day ahead, so new due date is March 12!
Fi1st ultrasound! My little bean looks healthy, with a little heart hammering away. I definitely cried. Measuring perfectly on track 8w1d so I get to keep my due date 3/29/22. ❤️
