@elle-0409 You know I vaguely remember when my youngest stuck that someone mentioned next time I could get progesterone. I'll have to look into that! I think I never did because the B6 did work very well for me. If this bean doesn't stick I'll have to make some calls. Thanks!
Hi everyone! I've loved reading your introductions and am excited to add mine!
Due date? March 23
How did you find out? We had been TTC, but I was hesitant to read into early symptoms until I was so insanely bloated that I took a pregnancy test on a whim five days before my period was due. It was positive
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) My husband and I have one daughter who just turned two. We're both attorneys by training, but I work in academia now. We love to explore new cities, and I am a huge bookworm!
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) I. Am. So. Bloated. I look like when I was 12 weeks pregnant with my firstborn. I'm hoping the bloating subsides a bit. I've also had a lot of headaches this time around, which I don't remember having when I was pregnant with our daughter. Emotionally, I'm excited about the prospect of having more kids, but also kind of nervous--I feel like we have worked so hard to get my daughter on a good routine that the idea of starting from scratch is kind of overwhelming. But mostly just thankful and excited! My first appointment is August 11--I'm so busy with work and looking after our daughter that I'm hoping the weeks will pass quickly!
GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself! We have moved four times in the past four years and are gearing up for our fifth move--this time into our first home! Fingers crossed there will be no more moves in the foreseeable future...
My first OB appt is on 8/6 at 8 weeks. Dealing with really mild symptoms so far of insomnia and indigestion/burping. I’m excited for baby 2 to complete our family. And I so hope I don’t have the crazy nausea and vomiting this time around, especially since we hope some of it was related to my gallbladder which I had removed at 7weeks PP.
I have a son who will be 3 in November. I live with my husband and son and we just moved across the country in December to be closer to family. Our current project is renovating our house and updating it from its 1990 decor 🤣
I’m a psychologist specializing in OCD and anxiety and I run long distance races for fun.
Hi! Trying to catch myself up on everyone’s introductions! I’ll get there.
Im 37 and had a FET last Friday with a 5 day blastocyst. Got my BFP yesterday, so that gives me a due date of March 27! This came after years of unexplained secondary infertility. Multiple failed treatments and IUI’s. I’m an RN in the ICU and Covid really slowed the IVF plans.
I have a 7 y/o son who I had no trouble conceiving. He’s been asking for a sibling for years.
So far only symptoms, besides complete joy, is nausea and headaches, but that could be the hormones from the meds. I go for my beta Monday, but after years of struggle and losses I’m embracing these positive tests I’m getting.
I’m going to apologize now, I haven’t been on this board in years so I may not be up to the lingo or etiquette. Please feel free to correct me at any time. Looking forward to this journey and getting to know Y’all. I’ll be checking in on the AMA post as well 🎉
I'm tentatively going to step in here even though it's pretty early.
Due date? March 26
How did you find out? We had been TTC, but DH had a freakout this month that put us on pause. We worked it out and I thought we were on track to try again next month, but got a BFP instead. Glad we got on the same page again first!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) DH and I have one daughter who just turned four. I was active on the July '17 BMB for a bit. I'm a librarian and for fun I enjoy playing board games and baking (not that I'm any good at it).
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) No appointment scheduled yet, I'm still trying to wrap my mind around everything. I have had some insomnia and my stomach is definitely a mess like it was with my DD. Hoping that is a good sign that this peanut will stick around! Emotionally I'm a little shell-shocked as this was already an emotional month with us trying to decide if we were continuing to TTC. I'm thrilled, but anxious.
GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself! The only bones I have broken are toes, but I've managed to break several of those!
How did you find out: I was 4 days late for my period and decided to take a test. A bfp was waiting for me lol
Tell us about yourself: I’ve been married for almost 12 years and I have 5 other children. 4 girls, ages 13, 11, 8, and almost 5, and our only boy who is 19 months old. This pregnancy was a surprise but I don’t mind at all. 6 is the number I wanted so yeah for my last pregnancy! I’ve had 3 miscarriages and I’m praying this one sticks.
How are you feeling? I feel totally normal and thrilled. Not too many symptoms outside of nausea already.
Hey, y'all! I've been dawdling and lurking before introducing myself. I hope we can all grow close through commiseration and encouragement over these next 9ish months!
Due date? It's a little fuzzy because I had several days of light spotting at the beginning of my LMP, but somewhere between around March 8th-11th.
How did you find out? I knew we DTD around the right time and within a couple of weeks my cat started sleeping on me all the time and I was pretty sure at that point.😅 I hate the long wait before the first appointment so I waited until 7/9 to test and got a quick BFP.
I'm a SAHM in South Carolina. (Any Southeastern neighbors?) DD will be 5 in August (super close w/my A16 bmb) and DS will be 3 in September. Married for 8 yrs to my DH whom I met at Clemson University (Go Tigers!) I majored in Psychology and he was an English major but thankfully hacking was a hobby for him or we'd be living in a box! He now does IT security for BMW globally which allows me to stay home and be a mommy!
How are you feeling? Got some nausea, but less than with the last 2 pregnancies at this point. The fatigue is kicking my ass, as expected. Thank god DH works from home and lets me grab naps when possible. First appointment is 8/2 and I'm interested to see what they settle on for EDD. I'm a little anxious about having to drop a couple of my medications and bracing myself for lethargy, depression & anxiety symptoms.
GTKY: DH and I celebrated our birthday on 7/15. I turned 34 and he turned 33. #cougar 😉
@Car0liiine my cats have been SO cuddly!! They both sleep on me all night long when they used to switch between DH and me. I was wondering if they had some sort of animal sense to tell.
Hi all! I'm completely new to The Bump :) It's early days, but my first so it would be great to meet some other first-time moms.
Due date? 19 March 2022, according to my GP.
How did you find out? I had a couple of dizzy spells and didn't feel like myself. Bought a test two days before my period was due to start, but managed to hold off on taking it until I was two days late. DH and I had only been ttc for a month (technically two weeks!), so the BFP was quite a surprise! We both thought it would take much longer, especially as I was on the pill for almost 11.5 years and had only been off it for two months.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) This will be my first pregnancy (hence the nerves!). I do have furbabies though - a 12-year-old cat and two young dogs (both rescues - a Labrador and a Pomeranian-Corgi cross). DH and I have been married for about 2 and a half years, but together for 10 years as of September. We met at university, and if you had told me I would marry a guy I met at 19, I would never have believed it!
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) I don't know how I feel! (See my first post in First Trimester for more on that). I'm excited and terrified all at the same time, and have random moments where I just feel completely overwhelmed. No major physical symptoms just yet - occasional dizzy spells, mild cramps, and feeling a bit bloated and uncomfortable after meals. I'm dreading the advent of morning sickness in the next few weeks; I get motion sickness in cars, and my mom suffered from morning sickness, so I have a feeling that one is going to hit me soon. I've stocked up on ginger root tea in preparation.
Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself! I'm only 5'1 and have a baby face, so people often think I'm much younger than I am. It was annoying as a teenager, but I think it's only going to benefit me as I get older! :D
Due date? March 29 based on the calculation, so like super early here.
How did you find out? Been testing the last few days and I was sure I wasn’t crazily seeing a line. Got an obvious positive yesterday and it was darker today. So here I am, cautiously.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I am a SAHM to 4 kids. My husband and I have been married almost 7 years.
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) Anxious (TW: previous loss), cramping and back pain, waves or nausea, metallic taste in mouth. Mostly I feel fine. My last pregnancy was really difficult so it feels weird to not be super sick yet. No appointment yet. My OB retired and only sees GYN patients so I need to figure out who sees those patients now.
GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself! I’m in several other bump groups and have met some of my dearest friends there.
Edited to add: my username showed up different before. I changed it before I posted because of privacy issues but I’m not sure if it looked shady. Sorry about that.
How did you find out? I had my Mirena taken out in May (we were TTC) and after about 1 3/4 months still hadn't gotten AF. I decided to take a test on a whim and it was a very strong positive.
Tell us about yourself: I am 29 years old and a Teacher in thr good old state of Vermont. I have a 2 year old son and a pit bull named Ruger.
How are you feeling?: A lot of anxiety, I think it just comes with the first trimester. Other than that exhausted and bouts of nausea here and there. Very excited, very cautious.
GTKY: Tell us a fun fact about yourself I got pregnant with my DS after only 3 months of knowing his father (failed BC) and we are still together and expanding our family! Sometimes worlds collide for the better!
I'm pretty much a pee on a stick addict lol
So at 8dpo, I was experiencing some insomnia. So, my pee cup (freshly restocked from last night) is ready and its 9:30 am.
I take a test just for fun using my internet cheapies and it looked....negative.
For no reason other than my period being due in 5 days, I grabbed one out of the two remaining first response tests. (Didnt i tell you i like to pee on tests?) I'm sweating because my husband has already had to go all intervention on me about, "you took 200 tests in two months, blah blah...". He's... right. But, before you judge, know I have had 3 chemicals back to back. I have a 7 year old daughter from a previous relationship and I've been married to my current husband for 2 and a half years
Back to my story...
So I'm sweatin' taking an expensive tests 5 days before my period but I feeling daring.
Light positive!
So I think, "how am I going to tell my husband?" But before I can think of all the cute ways, I just yell "babe! I'm pregnant!"
Haha
20 tests and a week later and the line has progressed and I'm feeling so so excited!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
I wont be as long winded here!
I'm a wedding and life photographer! I studied drawing at my university and I love to dance, garden and meet new people.
I have...4... okay 5...cats!
It's not my fault! My husband had 3 when we met and two cats adopted themselves to us.
I met my husband on bumble! I was completely turned off by him as his car smelled similar to my brother (he works with a lot of leather). A month later, I keep trying to let him down slowly. He convinces me to let him come with me to photograph a wedding. We fall in love and get married 12 days later!
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?)
I'm finally feeling more optimistic than not about my pregnancy. Good vibes all the way though! I'm slightly nauseous when I'm hungry, tired and have insomnia
GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself!
Hmmm..... I was raised in a cult! I left when I was 26 and am the oldest of 5
Introduce yourself: Hi everyone!!! My name is Parveen... I am from Ontario Canada..I see a few other Canadians (yayyy)
Due date? As of right now March 8
How did you find out? I was scheduled to get my covid vaccine..but decided for myself if I was pregnant I would wait until I was further along. I tested negative and got the vaccine...fast forward a week later I never got my period. I tested a few more times and that pink line got stronger and stronger:)
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
I have a 17 month old son and wanted my babies to be closer in age...or the fact that I have accepted that I will never sleep again....#tired!
I am a 911 dispatcher for my local city.
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?)
The only symptom I am experiencing is exhaustion. I have my first appt early August.
Emotionally I am still trying to be composed as I feel it is early ..especially since I don't really have any symptoms...however with my first pregnancy I only had a few more symptoms.. so I'll just say I am lucky.
GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself!
Fun fact...I love to travel and always hoped to travel once I started a family. Covid really changed everything and turned me into a hermit. My goal is to build up the courage to travel with my LO sometime in the future.
How did you find out? Took a pregnancy test this morning so I am newly finding out.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I have two sons (one is 5 and one is 21 months)
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) I’m in disbelief, it took us almost 2 years to get pregnant with my second son. My first son I was pregnant within the first month of trying. This one we’ve only been trying for a couple of months! I’m grateful since I’m going to be 35 next month and really wanted a 3rd baby! My husband and I are both teachers.
GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself!:
I am a singer! And I play violin I’m also breastfeeding my son still and didn’t think I’d be breastfeeding at 21 months. Now I’ve gotta figure out how to make sure I’m keeping this baby healthy while breastfeeding my son.
This is my second IVF pregnancy (third pregnancy total) so I took a home pregnancy test the day before my beta blood draw was scheduled.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I am an elementary school reading teacher. My husband works in technology. We have a 5-year old son and a 14-month old daughter.
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) I’m nervous about having 2 under 2, but we chose this timing because it will be great for our family as the kids get older. And my husband and I are getting older!
GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself!
I had my colon removed when my son was 16 months old (a two-step surgery with a temporary ileostomy bag) and that led to infertility. Our next two pregnancies have been IVF as a result. This is our last embryo and we’re excited to be completing our family!
How did you find out? I transferred two untested embryos on 6/28, and had two great betas on 7/8 and 7/12!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I have a 3.5 year old son (2/10/18). My husband and I are both working from home, which I have been really enjoying! He's in consulting, and I'm in Healthcare IT. We've been married 4 years. I enjoy reading, going on day trips, and hiking!
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) Very cautiously optimistic since I had a loss last summer. Found out at my 2nd ultrasound appointment, after hearing a heartbeat at the 1st. So far, feeling very tired, some nausea, and lots of bloat. My first scan is Friday!
GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself! I binge on way too many TV shows. Just finished the first season of Ted Lasso, and currently watching White Lotus on HBO. I also have a close friend who did IVF with me, and our due dates are two weeks apart! Happy to have a friend share this journey.
How did you find out? My husband and I have been trying since November of last year, so I've been pretty tuned into how my body feels right before my period every month. I was crampy and tired per usual so I was all prepared to be disappointed again this month, but then 3 days passed and still no period, so I took a test. So stoked!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I'm 40, married to my best friend. This will be my first child. I work full time, and I am also a published writer. Writing is my main love. I've also been powerlifting for 5 years now and love it.
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) I am pretty nervous, and VERY excited. We wanted this so very very much. Worried about making it out of the first trimester, but fighting to stay positive and doing everything I can to be healthy. Main symptoms so far: my boobs are like WHOA. Some general discomfort in the abdomen, and bloated. Also already turning into a bloodhound with my ability to smell.
GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself! Oh sheesh, too much pressure to really think of one on the spot.
How did you find out? First Response pregnancy test was faint. Took 4! Finally took a Clear Blue Digital and it was positive! Tested positive just 19 days after "last period"! Weve never known this early!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I have 3 children (14B, 11G, 4B), so this is pregnancy number 4 for me. DH and I have been married almost 19 years. I turn 40 weeks after this one is born! We homeschool and hate worksheets! ☺️
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) Definitely exhausted and moody. Extremely nervous for another missed miscarriage. 🥴😔 First appointment is scheduled on Aug 4th, dating ultrasound and OB visit.
GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself! I have PCOS. Our first 3 pregnancies (first ended in a missed miscarriage) we had to have fertility drugs to get pregnant and each took us about a year to conceive. For pregnancy number 3 we used "Pregnitude" and we were pregnant in one cycle! I thought it was a fluke until we got pregnant with number 4 in one cycle using "Pregnitude"! We will use it again for #5!
How did you find out? I got my IUD out back in June because we wanted to try and have another baby. Took a test by day I was supposed to start my period and it was positive! We are beyond excited.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) My husband and I have two daughters a soon to be 6 year old and a just turned 4 year old. I’m a SAHM while my husband is a high voltage electrician who travels majority of the time.
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) I’m an EXHAUSTED. I just can’t shake the feeling of wanting to nap 24/7. Sleep at night is impossible with the tossing and turning. Emotionally I’m a bit of a wreck. With my husband gone and wanting to wait until I know baby is good to tell anyone, I’m lonely. I’m so excited about growing our family but the thought of being alone through my pregnancy is daunting. My first appointment is August 12! I’m so excited to see my little bean.
GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself! We are hoping to find a home for our growing family in the future to come! Relocating to a new state and findings home with more space could not be more exciting for this mama!
@mamaof3tobe006 I completely understand the being alone during pregnancy sentiment. My SO is currently living in a different city due to some work and family commitments, so it's just me and my 2 girls as well. I'm also not telling anyone about the pregnancy until I'm sure this little bean is going to stick so this board means a lot to me I terms of support!
Due date? Technically April 4 but I’ll be having a scheduled C so last week of March!
How did you find out? Just found out by testing 2x today! We just started trying (first cycle of trying) so I was anxious to test
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) This will be baby #3 for my husband and I. DS #1 is 5 and DS #2 is 2.
My husband and I both work in media - I’m just starting a big promotion next week — eek! What timing!! We also have two cats.
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) no symptoms yet. It literally just happened. I noticed on day 21 of my cycle I had some spotting. I convinced myself this was implantation bleeding and ran out to get a test two days later and got two BFP today!
GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself!
I love decorating for the holidays. We already bought a 12 ft pumpkin skeleton for our house for Halloween this year! Yes, I start planning in July lol
Me: 36 DH: 36 Married: October 2011 DS: January 2016 DS: May 2019 #3: April 2022
Hi everyone! I'm Bena from Singapore. I was lurking a lot the first time round so I am jumping in and being more active this time round.
Due date? March 19-ish
How did you find out? We had been TTC since April 2021 because my husband read Malcolm Gladwell’s outliers and had an obsession with having Q1-born kids lol. Finally tested positive this month when I didn’t get my period on day 36 (my cycles are usually quite long). Fun fact - our best couple friend just told us they were pregnant with #3 the weekend before and I was happy for them but also really anxious to see my own BFP.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) My husband and I have one son who‘s turning 1.5. I work in finance mostly from home because of the pandemic and my husband runs his own business and has been mostly home bound (which I love) because of travel restrictions.
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) Nausea has been a big one, something I didn’t really experience with my son. I am wondering if it’s twins or maybe a girl lol. My first appointment is August 4 and I’m really hoping to hear a heartbeat. Fatigue has been hard hitting at week 5 which is really different from my son where it hit only later on and for a short while.
*TW* My first pregnancy ended with a blighted ovum, and I was super heartbroken. So for both the second pregnancy and this one, we’re just keeping the news to ourselves until later.
GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself! I love mahjong and would be playing almost 3 times a week if I wasn’t so tired these days. The pregnancy luck has been amazing!
How did you find out? I take pregnancy tests on the first day my period is supposed show up. Habit I guess… anyway, I didn’t even look at it at first. I changed the cat litter and took out the trash. Then I went to throw away the used test and saw the two lines!!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
I am a teacher. I have a three year old daughter and two cats. My husband works at the Children’s Hospital as a concierge.
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?)
I feel tired. I have a headache, and I have waves and nausea and cramping. Other than that I’m OK. I remember feeling much sicker much sooner and my first pregnancy. But it’s still very early. I have an appointment with my GP on Friday, and with my OB/GYN at week eight which is mid August.
GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself!
I am kind of a nerd. I love anime and manga and cosplay. I love the net, and I love to write.
How did you find out? I had been suspecting for several days, but it was too early to test so I waited until four days before my period was due to test and it was two very dark lines within seconds.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) My husband and I have been together for almost 15 years (next month) and married for 8. We have son who will be turning 5 in September, we are trying to keep my pregnancy a secret from him until we know everything is ok, because he will be telling everyone when he finds out. Like, he will be telling perfect strangers at the store etc. I am a Special Education Teacher, and my husband works in IT. I like to draw, make jewelry, crochet, and knit.
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) My first physical appointment (I've had a couple of telephone appointments) isn't for 2 weeks, which feels like an eternity. My boobs are sore, and grew like a cup size in like 24 hours a couple of weeks ago, my belly is already protruding more than my boobs (thanks diastatis recti), I've had issues with my intestines that seemed to have calmed down (might have over done it on probiotics, IDK). Emotionally I have had a lot of anxiety, my symptoms have been different than when I was pregnant with my first, and there has been some spotting, which I didn't have with my first. I'm 39, so even though spotting is considered normal it felt extra scary for me. I've felt a little more energy and no morning sickness the last couple of days, which also has me worried.
GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself! I am in the process of repurposing the area under our stairs for a mini arts and crafts studio.
@Jillybear82 I'm the same way with my symptoms! I don't feel as sick today as I did yesterday so cue the freak out...this is despite my rational brain telling me that my nausea doesn't normally kick in until after 6 weeks and I'm only 5+1...
How did you find out? I was doing cycle monitoring at our fertility clinic and had a routine pregnancy test scheduled for 2 weeks after my ovulation date. Was not expecting it to be positive as it was our fourth round of cycle monitoring and it all started to feel very routine! We were actually supposed to start our IUI process this month!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) My husband and I are big hikers & bikers, we love spending our weekends outdoors! We've been together 11 years and married for 4, and this is our first pregnancy!
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) No real symptoms yet. A few days of being extremely tired, a couple days with headaches, but that's really it. No nausea yet fx.
GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself! I'm also in southwestern ontario! Tbh I was surprised to see so many Canadians here, and specifically from Ontario!
Found out after a missed period. Got my BFP after 10yrs of infertility treatment. I have pcos and stage 4 endo.
This is our first. We do have 3 chocolate labradors who are very excited to become big brothers and sister.
Feeling good! It actually worries me that I don’t feel worse. Lol. My US last week showed a yolk sac but couldn’t see baby yet. Going back this Wednesday for another US.
How did you find out? I keep pregnancy tests on hand because I have long cycles fairly often. My boobs were sore all week, but I thought it was PMS. Then one day I had to take a nap and felt off all night (tired and queasy). I took one the next day and barely looked at it because I was sure it was negative and I was about to start my period. It was positive.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) My DH and I have been married for 9 years now. We both work full time and have a 5 year old girl (Mar16) and a 3 year old boy (July18). We were on the fence about a 3rd but were still on birth control (which failed).
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) Pretty shocked! We had an ultrasound already because my LMP was 8 weeks but confirmed I ovulated late and am at 6 weeks now. We saw baby's heartbeat though. I'm excited but also feel like I'm crazy. Two kids are already exhausting! And now I have to get a new car because I can't fit 3 car seats in mine. I hope car prices go down soon.
GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself! Birth control failure isn't interesting?! Hahaha. I can pop my shoulder out of joint at will. I've been able to do it since I was a kid.
Re: Introductions
I wonder if we have any non-North American ladies here?
Due date? March 23
GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself! We have moved four times in the past four years and are gearing up for our fifth move--this time into our first home! Fingers crossed there will be no more moves in the foreseeable future...
I’m 4w5d with baby number 2 - due March 18
Trying to catch myself up on everyone’s introductions! I’ll get there.
Due date? It's a little fuzzy because I had several days of light spotting at the beginning of my LMP, but somewhere between around March 8th-11th.
GTKY: DH and I celebrated our birthday on 7/15. I turned 34 and he turned 33. #cougar 😉

I don't know how I feel!

I'm only 5'1 and have a baby face, so people often think I'm much younger than I am. It was annoying as a teenager, but I think it's only going to benefit me as I get older! :D
GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself! I’m in several other bump groups and have met some of my dearest friends there.
Edited to add: my username showed up different before. I changed it before I posted because of privacy issues but I’m not sure if it looked shady. Sorry about that.

I wonder if we have any non-North American ladies here?</blockquote>
@goldfishcraker non-North American lady here! Joining all the way from South Africa.

I got pregnant with my DS after only 3 months of knowing his father (failed BC) and we are still together and expanding our family! Sometimes worlds collide for the better!
Heya👐🏾! I'm Cassia
It's pronounced cassie-ugh!
Due date?
March 22nd!
How did you find out?

Due date?

I was scheduled to get my covid vaccine..but decided for myself if I was pregnant I would wait until I was further along. I tested negative and got the vaccine...fast forward a week later I never got my period. I tested a few more times and that pink line got stronger and stronger:)
I have a 17 month old son and wanted my babies to be closer in age...or the fact that I have accepted that I will never sleep again....#tired!
I am a 911 dispatcher for my local city.
The only symptom I am experiencing is exhaustion. I have my first appt early August.
Emotionally I am still trying to be composed as I feel it is early ..especially since I don't really have any symptoms...however with my first pregnancy I only had a few more symptoms.. so I'll just say I am lucky.

Fun fact...I love to travel and always hoped to travel once I started a family. Covid really changed everything and turned me into a hermit. My goal is to build up the courage to travel with my LO sometime in the future.
Looking forward to connecting with you ladies xo
I am an elementary school reading teacher. My husband works in technology. We have a 5-year old son and a 14-month old daughter.
I’m nervous about having 2 under 2, but we chose this timing because it will be great for our family as the kids get older. And my husband and I are getting older!

@thorsenme Congratulations! How exciting!!!! So glad you are joining us 😀
GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself! I binge on way too many TV shows. Just finished the first season of Ted Lasso, and currently watching White Lotus on HBO. I also have a close friend who did IVF with me, and our due dates are two weeks apart! Happy to have a friend share this journey.
I'm 40, married to my best friend. This will be my first child. I work full time, and I am also a published writer. Writing is my main love. I've also been powerlifting for 5 years now and love it.
I am pretty nervous, and VERY excited.
GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself! We are hoping to find a home for our growing family in the future to come! Relocating to a new state and findings home with more space could not be more exciting for this mama!
DS #1 is 5 and DS #2 is 2.
no symptoms yet. It literally just happened. I noticed on day 21 of my cycle I had some spotting. I convinced myself this was implantation bleeding and ran out to get a test two days later and got two BFP today!

GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself! I love mahjong and would be playing almost 3 times a week if I wasn’t so tired these days. The pregnancy luck has been amazing!
Due date? Around March 29th
How did you find out? I take pregnancy tests on the first day my period is supposed show up. Habit I guess… anyway, I didn’t even look at it at first. I changed the cat litter and took out the trash. Then I went to throw away the used test and saw the two lines!!

GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself! I am in the process of repurposing the area under our stairs for a mini arts and crafts studio.
My husband and I are big hikers & bikers, we love spending our weekends outdoors! We've been together 11 years and married for 4, and this is our first pregnancy!
No real symptoms yet.
Due date: March 22
Found out after a missed period. Got my BFP after 10yrs of infertility treatment. I have pcos and stage 4 endo.
This is our first. We do have 3 chocolate labradors who are very excited to become big brothers and sister.
Feeling good! It actually worries me that I don’t feel worse. Lol. My US last week showed a yolk sac but couldn’t see baby yet. Going back this Wednesday for another US.
GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself! Birth control failure isn't interesting?! Hahaha. I can pop my shoulder out of joint at will. I've been able to do it since I was a kid.
