I figured I'd get us started for the March one! 

Due date? March 5th, 2022 

How did you find out? We did our first IUI this cycle. I had a trigger shot so I was testing out my trigger shot. It seemed to completely be gone Father's Day (Sunday). I kept testing each morning just to make sure it was really gone. Tuesday it started looking like there was a line again. Then Wednesday it seemed to get darker. I went in for a beta test that morning and when I took another test at 12pm it was WAY darker! I got a positive digital and it seems to be getting darker again today! 

Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) My husband and I have been trying to have our first baby for almost 3 years now. I've been diagnosed with PCOS, endometriosis, and multiple hormonal imbalances. I feel like TTC has been a full time job in itself! Currently I'm an elementary school therapist, but considering different jobs for next school year. My husband is an engineer. We have two adorable poodles. I cannot wait to see them with our baby! I love Disney World. It's actually where we got engaged. We like to go wine tasting too, but we're going to have to replace that one for the next 9 months! 

How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) Very very nervous. My hcg was 15 at 11dpo yesterday. The nurse said that was lower than they liked to see it normally. She kept telling me it might still be the trigger shot. I tested out my trigger shot so I feel confident it isn't still the trigger. I'm just hoping and praying that number doubles by tomorrow morning. I keep going back and forth between super excited to I can't even believe this is finally happening to I'm so scared something is going to go wrong. Not a ton of symptoms yet. I did feel nauseous last night during dinner and didn't want my food anymore. Today I'm 12dpo and feeling some tugging but not really cramping down by my ovaries. 

GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself! I have 5 tattoos! One if a diamond mickey mouse in honor of my mom. One is a paper airplane that I got when I first moved far away from family and had my own apartment and full time job. One if kind of 3 tattoos combined of my three dogs paw prints. I have their names written in different family members handwriting. I love them.

@avh333 Thanks for getting this started! Congratulations! Fx your numbers come back great tomorrow! I decided not to do betas this time, but I completely understand how anxious the wait can be. Edit to add JK my doc does want betas.

Due date? 3/3 

How did you find out? Tested at 9 DPO and didn't see anything. I pulled the test out of the garbage a few hours later and saw a faint line (lol don't judge me). I had a clear positive the next day and they keep getting darker. I was 100% counting that I'd be out this cycle and was shocked to see a positive test. I actually met with my RE the week before to add the trigger shot to my treatments. The shot is already on the way so hopefully that isn't bad luck. 

Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) Hi! I have one DD who is 21 months. She is a total spit fire and super sassy. It will be fun but also very interesting to see her as a big sister. DH and I have been married since 2015. I'm a city planner and am a total city/architecture nerd. I like to hike, bike, and just putter around the yard. I want to say I garden but it isn't quite to that level. 

How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) I am very cautiously optimistic. It took us two years to conceive DD and *TW* I had one loss at 11 weeks. I'm feeling a little bit like it isn't real but also very grateful and hopeful.

Due date? Approx 3/13

How did you find out? We have been trying so I've been tracking my days. It was to early to start testing (or so I thought) but one night I woke up and almost threw up. Because I'm obsessive so I took a test. A quick glance (without my glasses) I saw 1 line, as I expected, went to throw it out, picked it up and looked down and saw 2 lines! I was so surprised I could hardly go back to sleep. I tried to wait to tell my hubby on Father's Day (just 2 days away) but I couldn't. I'm terrible at keeping secrets.

Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I have a 3yo son named Blake. His pregnancy, delivery and recovery was difficult so I'm pretty nervous but excited. My husband and I have been married 6 years. We have 2 small dogs named Scooby and Loki. In my spare time I love to read and sew. I am about to start school for a master's in social work. My goal is to become a therapist who helps women with postpartum mood disorders. 

How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) I haven't had my first appointment yet as its still pretty early. I didn't even know this early with my son. So far I am only tired and slight nausea that seems to pass pretty quickly so far. I'm getting anxious because I have had blood pressure problems last time. Luckily I have a wonderful husband and therapist to help me through. 
GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself! I'm not very interesting but people are usually surprised to know that I am a huge Lucille Ball fan, especially I Love Lucy. Most people find it odd because it's no old but I love it.

How did you find out? First Response pregnancy test. Tested about 10 DPO, I think? I was starting to feel a little nausea, and my boobs were feeling extra tender.

Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I have 3 children, so this is pregnancy number 4 for me. DH and I have been married almost 11 years. I just turned 30 last month. I enjoy getting up super early to go to the gym. My two favorite pastimes are basically working out, and sitting on the couch binge watching tv shows (it's all about balance, right? ).

How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) Pretty good at the moment, just exhausted and moody. First appointment is scheduled on July 28th, ultrasound and OB visit.

GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself! Hmm. Last Wednesday (the day before I got my BFP), I hit a raccoon while I was out on an early morning bike ride. Other than a jacked up knee, I'm fine. Not really a fun fact, but maybe somewhat interesting... haha!

How did you find out? 

I took a test at 9dpo because I have short luteal phases and just chalked it up to an evap because it was soooo light. 10dpo, I thought maybe it was a vvfl positive but my husband convinced me it wasn’t. 11dpo, we bought a different brand because he wasn’t convinced. Today is 12dpo and I got a clearly positive frer. 😱

 I’m a bump veteran. We have a feb16 boy (5yo) and a july18 boy (almost 3yo). I’ve also participated in ttgp on and off the last 8ish months. 

***TW*** We had a chemical pregnancy back in Nov 2020 and this was our first month trying again. 

We live in NYS and have 2 chihuahuas. I’m a sahm and mh is a mailman. We are a huge camping family and love anything outdoors. I love gardening and crafting. I’ve recently started learning to embroider. 

How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?)
 I feel shocked. My husband feels shocked. Lol. The last 4/5 cycles I’ve had, my luteal phase has been 7-9 days. I totally anticipated this being a process. I still don’t believe it. I haven’t called my doctor yet but I anticipate my first appointment being in the end of July. 

GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself! 
hmmmm. I’ve worked for a vet for years and have seen inside all of my pets, from various surgeries. I feel like most people can’t (and wouldnt?) want to say that. Haha.

Hey ladies, I’m Meg

Due date? 3/5 ish 

How did you find out? I felt like my body knew I was pregnant within days. I was emotional, breast pain, forgetful (more than usual)… tested on a Friday, feel like I saw a shadow but my sister said I was seeing things. By Sunday it was a full positive. Happy Father’s Day to DD! 😂

Tell us about yourself- I have 2 boys, 5&7. They are my everything and drive me crazy too! Some of my best friends are from my Dec13 bump board. 

I’m a SAHM, over 35, 2 dogs, 2 cats and a tank full of fish. DH and I have been married for 9 years. 

How are you feeling? Any symptoms? I feel tired. Breast tenderness. My cramping has been consistent but my hcg keeps increasing so that’s good. First apt is 7/14 with ultrasound. Anxious to see that heart beat! 

I’m also freaking out a bit about starting all over again, but thankful as we were trying for over a year.

GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself- hummmm, my kids keep me pretty busy. Both my boys were born in different states. (Ga, Va) I am a foodie and already missing my Kim Crawford. ☺️

How did you find out?
I was tracking my ovulation with the clear blue tracker. It had me start at day 10 and I didn't see any changes till day 24. I thought I was ovulating late and then I started feeling nausea at day 26. Took a pregnancy test thinking I was being crazy and it was SUPER dark positive. Guess I ovulated early and was clueless lol

Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
This is my first baby. I have a chihuahua named Gizmo that everyone compliments on being the best behaved small dog ever. My husband and I love being active together, skiing, mountain biking, working out, ect.

How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?)
First appointment is August 5th. For symptoms I have constant lower belly twitches/spasm feeling things. I also have random waves of nausea.

GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself!
We just finished designing and building our forever home. Due to COVID every design decision got about 1,000x the research it would have if we weren't stuck inside so much. :smiley:

Introduce yourself: Hi! I’m Rachel and I’m pregnant with my second. We’ve been actively trying for 3-4 months, NTNP before then starting in January, so this is exciting! 

Due date? The nurse said 3/5 but I know I ovulated later so I’m going to say 3/12

How did you find out? I’ve been testing like crazy. Thought I saw a squinter several days ago but that was followed by multiple BFNs so assumed I was out this cycle. Tested again with a digital on Tuesday evening, telling myself that would be my last test before waiting for AF, and that’s when I got my positive. Had my first beta today and pregnancy is confirmed. I’ll head in for a second beta on Saturday morning. Mentally preparing myself that the holiday will delay the lab. Grrrrrr. 

Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) Our son is a week-ish away from turning one! I love my July20 BMB. They were such a gift during the crazy that was/is pandemic pregnancy and motherhood. My husband is a SAHD and I’m an attorney specializing in renewable energy.  We also have an elderly dog named Little Debbie. I love to travel and eat. My husband is a chef (quit when we had our son) so I eat well! 

How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) First appointment will be July 21 with the midwife. Im feeling cautiously optimistic. I’m 40, so I know the AMA experience carries risks, and I had two losses before our son, but I’m hopeful. I’m pregnant today and for that I’m thankful. Symptoms I’m tired, some lower abdominal twinges/pangs, a little nauseous, and my nails feel weirdly strong (I know that’s odd but I generally have weak nails except when pregnant). 

GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself! I served in the Peace Corps in Morocco.

How did you find out? I was on vacation with family and friends was expecting my period. Even had my husband run and get me some tampons. My cycle is super regular so when I was a day late I just KNEW. I told myself I wouldn’t test until I got home that Saturday but when I ran to a dollar store and saw a test I just couldn’t resist. I took the test in the restroom of a BBQ restaurant :D and it was an immediate positive!

My husband and I have been married for 11 years. I’m currently a stay at home mom who loves reading, traveling, cooking and (seriously) cleaning. I have 2 boys, 1 girl, and 2 dogs!

First appointment is July 22. I have had very few symptoms and this pregnancy was such a shock that it really hasn’t sunk in yet.

I honestly can’t think of a single fun or interesting fact about myself :D I’m pretty boring as a person!

How did you find out?  FRER, I've been exhausted and had sore boobs...  could've been PMS but I thought it was more than normal

Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I have a 10yo and a 5yo, a dog and a new puppy (as of mid-June).  I got married in April and we started trying right away.  I work for a science supply company and manage the skeletons and anatomical models.  DH is in IT and works for the same company 😁

How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) A little anxious but planning to call the OB Tuesday to schedule mt first appointment.  Fun symptom I noticed this morning, my nipples look huge... so that's nice.  Otherwise some soreness in my back, tender boobs, waves of nausea I'm not sure are related. 

GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself!  Fun fact- I love teaching swimming lessons and get to start teaching weekend lessons next Sunday!

3/16. Very early, but I'm cautiously excited!

How did you find out? 
Woke up with sore boobs today at 10/11dpo and took a FRER. Got a pink line pretty quickly! I'll test again after my missed period.

My DD will be 27 months next week. She is the absolute best!(ETA: I am really bad at counting in months now... I was off by 2 months!) I'm very active with my A19 moms! I WFH for a styling company. I've been married to my DH since 2015 and we have two cats!

How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?)
No appointments yet. I show symptoms very quickly - I found out at 4 weeks last time, 3 weeks 4 days this time. My boobs are sore and I can't seem to finish my food - it all tastes very bland. I'm in a fantastic mood - pregnancy tends to make me a happier version of myself, haha!

ETA this part since I forgot! We love to travel and visited South Korea and Japan right before getting pregnant with DD!

Hi, all!! Optimistically jumping in here with you ladies after lurking for a few days.

Due date? March 10th, I believe.

How did you find out? Tested a week before my expected period because I was suspicious, it was a squinter, but I knew it was positive. Next day, barely darker, 2 days after that I got my BFP.

Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) My husband and I are both in healthcare. I am an ER nurse and he is a Paramedic, it’s how we met almost 5yrs ago. We have a 3.5yr old who is just the best person. We experienced a MC in April that was a long, drawn out nightmare. Very happy to be here, now  I am still very close with my Feb18 mamas and hope to find the build community here. I am an amateur chef and baker. I make anything and everything sourdough that I can.

How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) First appt is not until Aug 9th. Anxiously watching the calendar. So far I have insanely sore and achy boobs, strange twinges and abnormal sensations in my lower abdomen, and could sleep for hours every day. Emotionally I am apprehensive to get too excited but remembering that today I am pregnant and so happy about that.

GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself! I love building. We bought our first home last year, a 100yr old renovated cottage. So far I/we have screened in the front porch, i built a screen door for it, built floating shelves and installed some new cabinets, and most recently built a crib sized mattress porch swing. Just got a table saw for my birthday and excited to try it out.

How did you find out? 

I had a sneaking suspicion the last couple of days but didn’t test because we were on vacation with friend. Plus, my last cycle was 30 days when I am usually 26 days. I told myself I wouldn’t test till day 30 which was yesterday and it turned before I even put the test down on the counter!

I have two boys, 4.5 and 20 months who keep me busy! My husband and I have been together for nearly 13 years and both work for the same company so we have to be careful to avoid too much work talk

Honestly, a little nervous. We had discussed at length a third but now that it is happening I’m still in shock I think. Also, we moved since my last so I need to find a new doctor so that is first on my list. 

GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself! 

When I have the time I like cooking nice meals. For my husbands 30th I (with my MIL and SIL) cooked a 7 course Thomas Keller French Laundry meal. These days it’s more kid friendly foods though!

@night_nurse Yay for a due date buddy! My baking skills need some work but I still like to try my hand at it.

The meal was amazing but was a ton of work! Gougères, foie gras with pickled cherries, tomato sorbet, chestnut agnolotti, lamb with a summer bean cassoulet, deconstructed Caesar salad cheese course and strawberry shortcake. To be fair, we bought the foie gras but made everything else. It was 2 days of cooking but he loved the meal and appreciated the effort.

How did you find out?

We were on vacation out of the country and was supposed to start my period the day we were leaving to come back.  It didn't come, I figured it was due to travel or something.  I waited a few more days after we got home and finally tested.  Boy were those lines dark.

I'm a first time mom.  I work in health care and my husband is an engineer.  We have too many cats.  I met my husband during covid, moved in with him essentially 2 weeks after we met, and got married a few months later.  We like to hike, backpack, kayak, and read

How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?)

First appt is July 29.  I have had really consistent cramping and some nausea/vomiting.  It still doesn't feel real, yet.

GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself! 

One of our cats we actually found behind the drywall in our house.  Somehow this little dude got into the basement and up behind the drywall between our bathtub and wall.  We still haven't replaced the drywall from where we ripped it out to get him out.

Hi everyone! Cautiously excited to be here!

Due date? 3/16

How did you find out? I got up early to meet some friends to run at 10 DPO and decided to take a test. Saw the faintest hint of a line but thought my eyes were just playing tricks on me. Went and did the run anyway and came home and tested again. Line has been getting stronger every day! 

Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) This is my first pregnancy. DH and I have been together for nine years and married for three and we have one cat. I work in education and like to spend as much time as possible outside running and hiking! 

How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) I'm feeling excited, but I also can't quite believe that it's actually happening! No appointment yet since the positive test came over the holiday weekend, but will be calling tomorrow. And no symptoms yet (part of me wishes that I did have some symptoms so it all felt a bit more real, but part of me also knows I should be enjoying this time before symptoms kick in!). 

GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself! I went to high school in a very small town and was a volunteer firefighter for the fire department. All of my teachers knew about it, so the fire horn would blare (the station was right across the street from school) and I would just run out of class and down to the station to go on the call. Happened once in the middle of a physics final!

Waited for my second beta to post here, but it looks good so here I am!

How did you find out? Tested at home 7dp5dt after fresh embryo transfer. Confirmed with betas this weekend! This was our first IVF cycle after 4 failed IUI cycles and over a year of trying on our own.

Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) DH and I live in New England. We are both healthcare workers so it’s been a wild ride. We have a daughter who is 2 1/2 and very very active! I like to cook, bake, quilt, and knit!

How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) First appointment I believe is an ultrasound with my RE between 6-7 weeks, and in between more blood work. I’ve felt very very tired since 2 days after the transfer and just generally unwell. Today the nausea started as I drove to get my blood work done. I’m glad I have a short commute! Emotionally I’m so happy! It’s been such a long road with unexplained infertility and I’m so glad to finally get good news!

GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself!   Hmmm…I never know what to say for these. I love to run and it helped me get back in shape after having my daughter. I’m still a workout junkie but had to take some time off for the ivf cycle. Hoping to get back to it with some prenatal workouts and some gentle yoga!

How did you find out? I took a test and thought it was negative, but after I hopped out of the shower there were 2 lines. A test 2 days later showed a darker positive

Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) My hubby and I both work in the medical field and we have a daughter who will be a year old in August and a Goldendoodle 

How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) I need to call still and make my first appointment. I'm feeling great, other than the tests, I wouldn't know I was pregnant yet.

GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself! I am still breastfeeding my daughter and only have had one PP period, and that was 2.5 mos ago. I am so curious to see what my due date will actually be.

Had a loss in April and very thankful to be pregnant today after a year of TTC. Found out at 10dpo, but we’ve been treating it pretty business like for now, just not ready to fully embrace it all out of fear of another loss.

DS turned 2 yesterday and I can’t wait for him to be a big brother

Crap, my first pregnancy all over again with nonstop puking. But, happy to know the baby is ok in there. I go for a dating ultrasound on the 15th!

Right now it's looking like March 13th

How did you find out?

We had taken a test on June 31st right before I left for vacation with my family that was a digital negative, but throughout the vacation, I noticed my boobs got HUGE and I had some dark spotting that turned out to be implantation bleeding! My husband picked me up from vacation and I made him stop at a store so I could secretly grab some tests. I got two really quick positives that night and I surprised him at the house we're renovating in our expected nursery.

My husband and I got married on May 29th after 4 years together and this is our first! We have two cats, Cooper and Nova who love to cuddle. I run, read, and binge-watch bad reality tv in my spare time.

How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?)

My first appointment isn't until August 2nd, but we started telling our immediate family yesterday because we both can't keep a secret. I'm very excited, but nervous. I just started experiencing very mild morning sickness/food aversions (eggs) today, but otherwise, it's just been the implantation bleeding and the huge boobs.

GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself!

We just found out my husband's best friend conceived their 3rd on our wedding night, so we'll be having kids very close in age! I'm really excited about having someone that close going along the journey at the same time as me.

How did you find out? We have been trying for a year so I took a cheepie at 9dpo and a line popped up immediately...so I took a FRER to confirm. Surprise! Nice dark lines on both:)

I have 2 girls (7.5 years and 2 years). I'm a high school teacher. I love drawing, playing guitar, and being anywhere that is near water. We have a house bunny (a Holland Lop) who my girls adore. I have been with SO for 20 years but we are not married...he is also 12 years older than me:)

How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?)
Feeling insanely nauseous, which I love!

I had 2 losses between my girls, 14 weeks and 10 weeks, and I've had 2 early losses this past year, the last one at 7 weeks in January, so seeing such strong lines and feeling like dirt are making me hopeful. So emotionally I'm stressed and worried that this won't stick, but I'm feeling cautiously optimistic:)

@kgg2241 I have definitely been in and out of TTGP so it's probably from there! I've been here on and off since I got pregnant with DD1 in 2013.

@smoresdoeuvres I do the same during naps and night time...sometimes I can even fit in an episode on my iPad when the girls are playing...at least until one of them starts trying to kill the other one!
