Yay for good ultrasounds!! My daughter always measured 4-5 days ahead....and we absolutely KNEW the dates because it was an embryo transfer.  She's now a taller kiddo -- has to wear 4t-5t or girls 4 since anything smaller is too short on her.  She looks (and acts) more like a 4 year old than a 3 year old.

I actually already know the MFM that I want to go to (since I'm fairly positive I'll have to go to one as I had pre-e with my first pregnancy, like you)!! He's the one my then-OB called for a consult and he just really impressed me with his knowledge but also sensitivity. Literally, every time he came into my room to discuss plans/etc, he would always say, "And the baby is doing amazingly! Nothing to worry about there!" since he knew how anxious I was about everything.

The big thing for me is I have to pick a new OB since mine retired last summer. I'm thinking of going to the MFM's wife who is an OB and has an office next to his...but I don't know much about her. I suppose I can always do a "meet the doctor" appointment.

  • @mbradfo2- that’s nice you know the MFM!! Our hospital is large so I have an OB group and an MFM group. All my OBs but one are female and I love them. All the MFMs I met were male and def not as good bedside manner as the female OBs. But it’s not worth switching clinics ans hospitals over. I am sure I will have to see MFM some, but hopefully not much until I would actually develop pre e since it’s not like there is really anything to do to prevent it or even really treat it once you have it...
