@runningonindie keep us posted! FWIW, I have had some sharp pains as well, last night I felt some pretty good ones on my right side and I know I ovulated on the left so logically I wouldn't have an ectopic on the right side but my brain was still spinning. It was good to see on the u/s today that baby is in the right spot. I hope you can get a quick u/s to confirm.

Thank you for the support ladies! All is well. I have a cyst on my left ovary that is causing the one sided pain. I had this with DD as well but it wasn’t painful until week 9ish so I’m surprised but also not surprised at the same time. Baby stats in ultrasound thread! What a relief!
All pregnancy symptoms have stopped, positive tests are no more and today I started bleeding. I’d already booked in to my GP for today to see what’s going on, before I started bleeding, but I’m sure that this is the end for me. Good luck for the rest of your pregnancies
Thank you all again for all the kind words and support this week.
I went back for my follow up today and there is a baby in there! Heartbeat is good and measuring 8+3. Even the doctor was surprised by the outcome. I guess I’ll stick around.
Started some bright spotting late this afternoon. Its been light so far and no cramping. I called a few minutes too late for an u/s today, so I have one scheduled for the morning to see what's up. Trying to stay positive.
I just went to the bathroom and there was brownish blood, not a huge amount but not just spotting, when I wiped. I feel like that's it for me. Now having some mild cramping, I've actually had pretty bad morning sickness yesterday and today, but I'm not hopeful. Only 6 weeks and 4 days. I'll try and see my ob-gyn tomorrow but they're usually packed with a long wait, I'm not scheduled to see them until my 9th week.

Brown spotting means old blood. I wouldn’t throw in the towel just yet. I’m still having mild cramping too and I’m just a few days ahead of you. Hopefully it’s nothing to worry about.
Well, it definitely does look old, but why would I be discharging old blood if everything is healthy and fine in there? It's not just a few spots, it is every time I wipe (I'm still having to go to the bathroom frequently), and this last time there were small pieces of tissue. I've had two previous early pregnancy miscarriage's, before I conceived and successfully carried my two living children, but that feels so long ago now I can't even really remember what my early warning signs were. I did a pregnancy test (even though I know that's futile because I tested positive for days after my previous losses were confirmed) and the positive line showed up before the control line. This is going to be a very long night.
@Knottie1424663410 unfortunately some people spot throughout their 1st trimester for no reason. Maybe there is a subchorianic hemorrhage that can cause bleeding. Most of the time those clear up on their own.
@grizzlymama86 Thinking of you tonight, I hope they get you in quickly for your ultrasound tomorrow and it’s good news
@Knottie1424663410 I had brown spotting around 6 weeks with my first, it lasted for a couple of days (every time I went to the bathroom it was there) and was definitely stressful so I get where you’re coming from. There are a few things that could cause it even if everything with your pregnancy is perfectly healthy. Try to get in touch with your doctor in the morning and get their advice on how to proceed.
Thank you everyone for the good juju! I was getting pretty freaked out last night, spotting continued over four hours and proceeded to turn a darker red, which was very disconcerting.
I just got gone from my u/s, and everything looks great! The little creature is measuring right on track at 6+5 with a hr of 125. They’re not sure what caused the spotting but “take it easy” was the result, just to give everything time to settle down. So relieved ❤️
I called ob-gyn this morning and spoke to the nurse practioner, she said she wasn't concerned and that if anything changes (if there's more blood, if I have any pain etc) then I should go to the ER, and if nothing changes then I just need to wait for my appointment. Luckily the receptionist told me there was a cancelation and moved that appointment up from the 16th to the 4th, so now I only have to wait until Thursday to have everything confirmed.
I still am discharging old blood today and it sucks, I just want it to stop, but I'm not feeling as hopeless and pessimistic as I was yesterday.
So I have been spotting brown and faintly red blood the last week, not heavy or anything. My pregnancy symptoms are definitely getting worse so I figured the pregnancy is safe for now. Last night I did some light cardio on the bike for 20 minutes and then BD with DH. This morning there was probably a pad full of blood and I thought that was it, I was having a miscarriage. I checked in with my midwife but she said unless I start bleeding a ton that she thinks it's related to BD and to just take it easy. So far it's been an hour and no more blood so I'm hoping I just overdid it last night. Trying to pray and not stress about it but it's hard not to be anxious!
@emeraldcity1214 thank you for your concern! Unfortunately my u/s isn't scheduled until the 16th. They didn't want me to go in to the ER unless things got much worse (we don't have an urgent care option in our hospitals). I'm kinda wondering if it's a SCH as well!
***UPDATE*** Thanks everyone for your support. Happy to report that after that initial bright blood in the morning (it wasn't enough to soak through a pad but there was lots in the toilet and looked like I was in the middle of my period when I wiped), it quickly tapered off to reddish brown spotting and I feel much more confident about the pregnancy by the end of the day. My pregnancy symptoms also felt like they had vanished this morning as well (ex fatigue, nausea) but have (happily?) returned this afternoon. Wish I could have an earlier u/s to get a piece of mind but I'll try to be patient until the 16th and keep on praying!

@Knottie1424663410 I agree, don't count yourself out yet. Fx your OB can get you in and the spotting stops.
