@Lisa3379 I am also having brown spotting (since Friday night) and am planning on calling my OB tomorrow. In the meantime I am drinking a lot of water and resting as much as possible with 2 kids at home. I would think exercise is related to yours - when I'm more active I notice more spotting. FX for us both and that your Dr can see you sooner!
@_orchid_ yes, fingers crossed for you too! I’m really hoping this is due to the exercise. At least this gives me an excuse to not work out and feel no guilt! Gotta look at the bright side of things I guess.
Thanks @akoros and @DoubleUp8. A lot more blood this morning. I’ve mentally prepped myself for the worst. 38 minutes until I can call for a hopeful appointment to confirm so I can begin to get over this.
Oh @Lisa3379 I hope you can get some answers soon. I'm so sorry you are experiencing this.

@akoros@DoubleUp8 thanks. Spotting is getting lighter (just about gone today after hydrating and resting yesterday) so my Dr said just to keep monitoring it and call if it starts up again.
I woke up this morning bleeding a lot of bright red blood and passed a good size clot. I’m freaking out. I’ve never had bleeding this late in pregnancy. 😔😭
@ruemcclanahan I really don’t want to go to the ER, there is way too much covid there. But maybe I will give the office a call, one of the OBs is on call.
@MelissaMay82 that sounds a lot like how my SCH was with DS1. Either way I went to the ER for that. It was a lot of blood and scared the crap outta me. Fingers crossed everything is fine! Did you already call your doctor?
@sgrn18 I had one with DD as well (lots of blood on several occasions) so it’s not unreasonable to think that it could be another SCH. I did put a call in, I’m waiting for the on-call OB to call me back. I did use my Doppler this morning and got a FHR around 140s-150s.
@MelissaMay82 So sorry you are dealing with this especially now when ERs are so scary, I hope the OB has another good option for you and you get to get checked out

Finally talking to one of the OBs. I was like the bleeding has stopped and no pain or cramping. I got rhogam the week before thanksgiving. And FRH sounds good at 140s-160s. I’m not going to the covid infested ER. She said that was fine. I asked if it could be another sch and she said probably. She will have the office call me tomorrow to check on me and probably set up an u/s. I’m working tomorrow and I’m pretty sure I’m in a gyn robot with my ob so I will talk to her tomorrow too.
@MelissaMay82 - sorry I’m late to this, but sounds like things are on a good course. I’m so sorry that you had to deal with the total MF that is SCH. I had one with my 2nd pregnancy around 15 weeks, and this one at 11 weeks. And no amount of experience can prepare you for that! It’s scary for sure, but a GREAT sign that you got the FHR! With my SCH I also passed a couple clots, those came the second day but I imagine they come whenever. Like I said- it’s such a MF because “they” tell you that as long as you aren’t cramping or clotting or soaking a pad it’s nothing to worry about and, IDK about you, but I did all those things! I hope you can get an u/s tomorrow to get a good picture of baby. And so glad you avoided the ER- I had the same dilemma with mine! I’ll keep an eye for an update. Xoxo

Dang @MelissaMay82 that's scary at any point. I do hope it's an SCH and it's great you were able to hear the FHR. Hopefully you will have answers today if you are able to schedule an appointment at your OB. So happy you were able to avoid the ER.
@MelissaMay82 FX all resolves and the rest of your pregnancy is uneventful. You def have more patience then I would have because I would have demanded my OB see me for an US.
I was working with one of my favorite OBs today. I told her what happened yesterday and asked if I should call the office for an ultrasound. She told me that she would just scan me on the OB floor. It is definitely a small/medium SCH. It is still blood filled so she said to expect more bleeding. Baby looked great and she told me no need to go to the office.
@MelissaMay82 glad you were able to get an us today and confirm SCH. Sorry you had to go through that and will likely still have a more bleeding to come. I’m impressed you were so calm and level headed about it.
