Re: Low AMH Level

  • @andreamm31 I'm so glad you got in touch with UFC and you all were able to come to a good conclusion about the ERA. Interesting about the other clinic, how they totally ignored it! Although I know it's common in Europe to do only the progesterone suppositories and not the PIO. Woot woot! 2 days!!!

@JamieH2000 Wow! That's a fantastic lining check for you! I'm super excited about that, I know how hard you struggle with that. FX it says lovely and trilaminar and your COVID test is negative (which I'm sure it will be). But def an exciting update! I tend to grow a good lining fairly quickly so I did ask my clinic at one point if they ever cancel based on a lining being too thick and they said no. Wonderful that your uterus is cooperating!!!

@Imajin99 Yes! You are coming up soon along here as well! Wow, I am so excited that your time is coming. We've all waited so long in this journey but I know you've waited extra long with your program so I'm really happy it's coming up soon for you. How are you feeling about transfer? Feeling okay in general?

@ladyp0tter did you get a new transfer date? really hoping your date is coming up soon here too! Exciting month with everything!

AFM -- I have my 20 week anatomy scan tomorrow! I'm so nervous. So nervous. Not a whole lot of work got done today because I've been so nervous about it but I'll have update you all as soon as I get home from the OB. My cousin is an OB with the MFM clinic that is affiliated with my regular OB. She actually referred me to my current clinic for IF treatment and my cuz gets to do my anatomy scan so I am excited about that <3

  • @c-town18 My first scan will be on Monday Nov 02 and official date of my embies arriving is Nov 03!
@lucyb1954 Thanks for your kind words and continued support!  Looking forward to your update from your anatomy scan tomorrow. I am nervous, anxious, happy, positive, happy, sad, excited.....maybe from the extra estrogen. Lots of emotions but mostly just happy to finally be moving forward.
@andreamm31 Good luck with the transfer, keep us posted.  Did you fly out already?
@JamieH2000 Great results on the lining.  I will have mine checked on Nov 02 and if things go well I may be put on the progesterone's for 6 days at that time unless I need to come in for another scan.  Our transfers will possibly on the same day!
  • @lucyb1954
Good luck on your scan!! It's a nice long one and you can see so much more! Don't worry if they can't get all the pics they need; I had to go in a second time because they couldn't see the spine well with the way baby was positioned and she was being very uncooperative. Worried myself sick between the two scans, but tried to focus on what my dad said -- "Nothing happens in a vacuum."  If everything else looked good, there was little reason to worry that the spine would suddenly show some sort of abnormality at the second scan. I can't believe you're already at your anatomy scan!! Seems like just yesterday you got your BFP

    @andreamm31
Sounds like everything is falling into place! FX for you that this is your turn for good news!!
    @JamieH2000
Awesome lining news!! FX for you!

AFM, we closed our refinance on Monday and start our roof replacement the next week which will take until Jan/Feb to finish (our tiles don't even arrive until January) so I've just been focusing on my supplements and eating healthier (hard when your toddler likes to share her goodies with you lol). We've decided that we'll likely start stims in 2021 (jan or feb depending on my RE's schedule). With the holidays being so different this year, I really want to be able to make it special for my kiddo and not have to stress about stims/etc. I'd like to just focus on her right now. Actually already started Christmas shopping lol

  • @LUCYB1954 Thanks for sharing, that sounds great :) Yes, can't believe you are halfway through :)
@mbradfo2 Sounds like a good plan and you will have a wonderful time over the holidays with your lil one.
  • @lucyb1954 woohoo!!! Fantastic lady! Just fantastic!!! I am so happy you don’t have to go back in for the fetal echo too, that’s great. What a relief to have them both already completed!  How’s the nausea?

@andreamm31so glad you were able to talk with them and everyone is onboard with the transfer plan! So exciting!!!!!

@JamieH2000 wow! Fantastic lining!! How wonderful!!! Hoping it stays trilaminar!! I bet it will still be lookin great! Especially after clearing out that uterus, it’s all shiny and new and ready to go!

@Imajin99 Omg your transfer is almost here!!!! Woohooo!!! Very very excited for you friend:)

@mbradfo2 - 2021 sounds like the perfect plan.  Hope you are able to enjoy the holidays amidst all this craziness with your kiddo.
    Me: Hashimoto Autoimune Disease
    Homozygous MTHFR Cr677
DOR - AMH  .27 High FSH (don't even know how high)
    2 iui's to start - BFN
    IVF 1 -3 made it do day 5!    2 5AA 1 6BB  PGS results =  all abnormal :(
IVF 2 - stimmed for 19 days. insanity. Had 5 follicles that looked mature but only 2 contained mature eggs the others were empty.  Nothing made it to day 5
IVF 3 - added in HGH - 4 mature follicles (had some empties again) 3 made it to day 5/6 for PGS (held for testing with next retrieval
IVF 4 - Upped my dosage for the first time - Canceled 11 days into sims - looked like 1 follicle and we were afraid it was empty
IVF 5 - Canceled -  looked like 1 follicle and we were afraid it was empty
IVF 6 - 3 mature, 2 fertalized 1 made it to day 5 and sent for PGS

Sent in IVF round 3 and 6 (4 embryos) for PGS testing and got 2 normal embryos!!!  1Boy and 1Girl. Took a little over a year to get those two embryos so demanded all sorts of test prior to attempting transfer. Did EFT, ERA and NK Cells testing.

FET#1 - Intralipid drips, Prednisone, and did a depot lupron shot before starting the FET protocol
    Chemical pregnancy
    FET#2 - PGS normal boy - BFN
Natural pregnancy - cycle following the FET2????   Miscarriage at 8 weeks.  viability scan had shown an enlarged yolk sac so I had been warned that it was likely not chromosonally normal :(

DEIVF cycle - picked a donor who is willing to be open! Her cycle resulted in in 4 PGS Normal embryos
    1st transfer - chemical pregnancy
    2nd transfer - success, May 17 2020 due date!
  • @JamieH2000 Good news! Hopefully the lining check goes well, will keep you posted as I am going in on Monday morning for a check.
@andreamm31 Now that is a good looking embie!
  • JamieH2000 - 11/9 is not far off at all!  Congrats on the negative test.  Fingers crossed that your lining looks good on Tuesday!

andreamm31 - Congrats on being PUPO!  Glad to hear everything went smoothly and you're feeling good about it.
lucyb1954 - Awesome news on your anatomy scan!  Whew, that must be such a relief for you.

Imajin99 - Thinking of you and hoping for good news at your upcoming lining check!  Eeeek, how exciting.

mbradfo2 - There's definitely something to be said for being in a good place mentally and stress-wise before going into a transfer.  If you think that getting through the holidays before starting your protocol is best then that totally makes sense to me!

I'm loving all the action on this board.  I think the next few months is going to bring lot of good news.  Hugs to all.
  • Thanks @c-town18! Hope you are doing and feeling well :)
  • @andreamm31
Yes, hatching is an awesome sign. It delighted our embryologist that our day 6 blasts started hatching immediately after thaw; he said that is exactly what he wants to see and couldn't be more perfect. DH is the same way re:decorating and some of the "little things" that make the holidays special. I have my eye on the 2020 Mickey tree skirt, personalized with our last name, and I could never tell him the price of that XD Our advent calendar arrived yesterday and he joked that I was sending him to the poor house XD I've heard that we should order our christmas stuff early this year as delivery services are likely to get overwhelmed and fall behind, and I've been keeping an eye out for sales.

  • @mbradfo2. I think we have enough to start.  I know I will probably buy more.  My excuse was, "Babe, next year we are gonna have a baby and more expenses, if we don't do this now, we never will!"  BAHAHAHAHA

  • @JamieH2000 So glad your test came back negative - what a relief.  GL tomorrow for lining check.  How does that usually go for you?

@andreamm31 Friday would be a perfect day to test if you can hold out.  FX for you!!

I'm thinking about getting my Christmas decorations out a little early too.  I need to get one of those felt trees for my toddler to decorate or he will be all over my actual tree.  We put our tree on the second floor of the house otherwise he would destroy it.  This way it's in my office area and since I'm the one who really appreciates it the most, it all works out.

  • @c-town18- how are things going on your end?! feeling good?

@andreamm31- How you hanging in there? I totally get not testing before work. Friday would be a good day! When is beta again?

@Ladypotter- when is your transfer date?! do you get your lining checked locally or do you have to go to Utah again?

@laurad75- how are you feeling? still lots of symptoms? I'm so hoping for a great holiday season for you. i know last year was rough. You deserve the best one this year! I'm sure you are counting the days to 11/9, just like me :)

AFM- Lining check tomorrow. Just nervous because last cycle it didn't grow between check 1 and 2, and it got less trilameter too. So even if its still only 9.4 tomorrow, I'm happy as long as its trilameter too. I'm hoping the issue last time was the endometritis and thats resolved. My estrogen was 2600 last week, since they put me on so much (pills, patches and shots) from the beginning. I kinda wonder if its too much too soon and my lining peeters out? I don't know, but hopefully its ok. Assuming it looks good. I take PIO on thursday at a specific time (since i only need 96 hours of progesterone).

@andreamm31- wow, just one week! I hope it flies for you!! Will be waiting to hear if you test on Friday :) yes 96 hours is crazy short. I end up doubling up on shots usually one day after transfer so I can shift them to the evening (otherwise I would need to do them around 12 each day)...

@laurad75- no, 9.4 is just fine! I just need it to stay there and stay 3 lines, which was the issue last transfer. I wish I could just transfer once the lining is good, but I guess studies have shown that being on estrogen for a full two weeks before progesterone helps success  rates! Sorry you don’t feel good but it’s the best news really I think! Grow baby grow!!

  • Hi friends! @laurad75 Unfortunately for how you feel, the worse you feel usually means that you're growing a good placenta and hormones are rising. It sucks but it means good things for baby so maybe not as shitty that way?

@andreamm31 Nice to have a bit of distraction until you test! Your beta seems late to me, is it? I think mine was at 10 or 11 days, can't remember which. Looks like you got out in the sun a bit too, which is good! Get some good Vitamin D and move around a bit :)

@JamieH2000 Keep us posted on your check! All things crossed for a nice trilaminar lining especially with that nice thickness! Hopefully all that cleaning out helped your uterus get things nice and ready for FET.

So nice to see exciting things happening here! And @ladyp0tter it seems like although it was shitty that you got delayed, the delay wasn't too awful. Are you doing a transfer on 11/16? Is that the date I remember? <3
  • Just had my lining check and it was 8.6 and trilameter. A little nervous since it went down from 9.4 to 8.6, but I rarely get over 8 so hopefully it’s ok? I mean I have to imagine there is some margin of error too when we are measuring in millimeters. Anyone have this happen? I’ll have to wait to hear from my nurse, but of course I’m nervous my lining isn’t holding up well....

  • @JamieH2000
I don't think I ever had my lining come in over 9. I think trilaminar lining is more important than the measurement. And I'm sure there's some margin of error when you're measuring something indirectly that is very thin to begin with.

    @ladyp0tter
if your transfer is 11/16, I think that's a very lucky day! It is the b-day for my sister, one of her elementary school friends and my old high school boyfriend!

My RE would always ask at my scan appointments after the positive beta -- "How are you feeling?" And I would say "like crap" and he would reply, "Excellent!"  lol it's funny how it works like that.

  • Thanks ladies!

nurse just messaged to continue on. Didn’t say anything about the decrease in lining so hopefully it’s a normal fluctuation. Still so nervous for Monday! And so many pills and shots the next 5 days. Two antibiotics and medrol every 4 hours during the day. Please just let this be it.

  • JamieH2000 - Was it the same sonographer both times?  If not then there would even be some variation due to that.  If they're not worried, then don't stress about it.  Cheers to getting the green light to go forward!!
  • @c-town18- it wasn’t the same person, but I know both and both are very experienced. I even messaged my nurse back to make sure they were aware it went down and they said it was fine since it was over 8. I’m gonna try to stay cautiously optimistic and just take really good care of myself. It’s a little stressful since we are in the process of buying another house and selling ours. Not good timing, but can’t put life on hold for IF...

  • @JamieH2000 yes, stay optimistic! Your lining still sounds good, and as long as its trilaminar I think you're in good shape. Do you have more checks before transfer? And yes, do whatever you can to destress if you can and take good care <3 It's important.
  • Great news @JamieH2000. I’m so hopeful for you and this transfer. FX that we both have good days on Monday. xo

  • @JamieH2000 Woo hoo just a few more days for your.  I am following right behind you. My embies have travelled across the world and have been safely delivered to my clinic.  I am booked for a transfer on November 10 and my lining check looked good.  No trilaminar unfortunately but it is quite thick at 12mm.  I start my progesterone including PIO today.
ladyp0tter fingers crossed your scan goes well Monday and you can transfer soon.
  • There are so many exciting days coming up for this group! This will be fun to see how everyone progresses and to root for everyone’s successes.

@JamieH2000 i have always heard if it’s more than 8, the lining is good. My techs have never told me if it is tri either.

AFM, I got AF late yesterday and called today. They scheduled me for a lining check 11/16. Despite having multiple transfers I can’t remember if I usually have a baseline/bloodwork 🤣 I don’t think I did for my last transfer which was on March 2. So, hopefully I can fit a transfer in before Thanksgiving 🥰
  • @lrynwab, that is great you can get started soon

  • @andreamm31 oh those symptoms sound very promising. Are you still thinking of testing before beta?
