Heres little baby Hoops! I'm obsessed with them already! Husb is still convinced there's two in there and one is hiding. He's high. It's just the one.

6.1.20 Surprise! Positive pregnancy test! Healthy baby girl born 2/10/2021
I saw my little pea for the first time this morning! I saw the heartbeat and all looks good with baby! She tried to get a photo without the yolk sac in the way but this was the best she could do.
But they did identify a subchorionic hematoma that requires me to reduce activities. Follow-up appointment and ultrasound on the 29th. Fingers crossed everything stays on track.
I had my ultrasound Tuesday at 6w6d and baby is measuring right on track. Heart rate was 133, but they don’t print pictures and everything goes on a disc so I don’t have a way of uploading it
Saw this little nugget with a heartbeat of 158. Measuring a day ahead. Still have fluid in my uterus but there’s nothing to be done about it, just hope it goes away and doesn’t affect the pregnancy. Next US is in 5 weeks for the nuchal.
Re-scan today, after last week’s only showed a yolk sac. We officially have a baby and a heartbeat (113)! Measuring 8 days behind (6w 2d) so doc wants to do another scan next week. Everything has been progressing well, except my progesterone, but I’m still nervous. It does help to see a heartbeat! This one is going to be my problem child for sure lol.
Saw our little bumblebee (as the US tech called it) this morning. Measuring 8+2 which is one day ahead of my predicted due date based on ovulation. HB of 171
Got to see our little one today! Originally I was told my husband couldnt come with to my appointment because of covid, but when I got there they said he was welcome for any ultrasound appointment! They did the ultrasound at first before he got there. But I love my doctor, when my husband got there they offered to do it again so he could see without us even asking. Plus baby was in a better position when dad was there to see! HB 174 measuring right on track!
@scottijo2012 what a nice practice! Mine is still not allowing anyone besides the patient to appointments including US. Hoping that might change during the course of my pregnancy.
Measuring 8w2d, so right on track! Due Feb 13. Got to see the heartbeat pulsing away nicely, but my OB said they now recommend waiting to actually hear it. Something about sound waves. 🤷♀️
My husband couldn’t come with me, which was a bummer since I was a nervous wreck, but they printed me 5 ultrasound pictures and I’m allowed to FaceTime him. I go back in 2.5 weeks for bloodwork, etc.
Measuring 3 days ahead but keeping my same due date. Hb 171. We didn’t listen either @vizsladogmom , she said the Doppler that they use for listening let’s out some sort of heat or something? So they don’t like to do it this early.
Apparently my husband was allowed to come but oh well lol! He got the picture.
@vizsladogmom my MFM and his ultra tech said the same thing—the sound waves necessary to hear the heartbeat are more than they want to bombard the baby with before first trimester. So no heartbeat or rate for me until the end of July. This is my third ((plus losses)) and the first time I’ve ever heard anything about it not being safe. 😳
Had some drama this week - severe side pain which sent me to ER. I have three large cysts on my right ovary (totaling nearly 4.5"x2.5" ) so for now pain management and waiting it out. I got an early look at our little bean though! Measuring right on schedule. Heartbeat was 174
Ultrasound day! Got to see the little nugget. Measuring a couple days behind so my due date is now the 17th instead of the 14th. Everything is looking great 😍 (not the best ultrasound pic, but he let me record during the scan so I could send it to my fiancé)
This is all so beautiful! Should I be concerned at all that my first ultrasound isn't until 13 weeks? I'm anxious to see what's going on! Maybe it's a COVID protocol thing around here these days? Seems late to me!
@culatoski my first ultrasound isn’t scheduled until 12 weeks. I think that is normal for my practice and not covid related. At my hospital you go to an entirely different department for ultrasounds. However during my first prenatal visit at 8 weeks I told my OB that I was very anxious to make sure I wasn’t having twins and she had no problem pulling out a bedside ultrasound to check things for me. It was low resolution and didn’t give printed pictures or anything but was at least enough to confirm one healthy embryo with a strong heartbeat.
@culatoski my office only does a standard 20 week anatomy scan. I only had one at 7 weeks this time because I had a mmc in the fall. Every office can be so different.
We got see a little baby swimming around today during the nuchal translucency ultrasound. Baby kept crossing their legs and wasn’t very cooperative for the measurements.
This was last Monday at 7w4d. I was actually measuring ahead at 7w6d! Heartbeat of 156. The sac is measuring a little small, so I'll go back tomorrow to make sure everything is progressing. Fingers crossed!
12w2d, measuring 4 days ahead. Heart rate 163. Space behind the neck looked good, will wait on the bloodwork. This will be my last US until the anatomy scan at 19.5 weeks. I think that’s the longest I’ve ever gone between ultrasounds but I guess that’s good news!
Had a great first in-person appointment today (this is my first pregnancy). Such a relief to finally see what was going on in side of me--all of the not great symptoms are one thing, but to actually see that baby and hear that heart beat--changes everything. 11w4d (measuring 3 days ahead). Heart rate 175. Will do 1st trimester scan (blood work and another ultrasound) next week.
