Dumb med question: I reordered more Menopur and Gonal-F just to be safe but then realized I only have enough Cetrotide to get me through Saturday morning. If my retrieval goes forward on Sunday, will I still need to take that on Sunday morning or no? Do you stop taking everything else after you do the trigger?

@legallykate correct, once you do the trigger, there are no meds after that. My RE also reassured me that I wouldn't ovulate all the eggs before retrieval 😆 because of course that crossed my mind

@inthewoods23 My doctor said he is so confident I won't ovulate on Cetrotide (I asked because my ovary twinges from the meds feel exactly like O pain and are freaking me out) that I can go ahead and have unprotected sex if I want

@kiki047 thanks so much, friend!! I hate that your FET in March just seemed like everything was working against you! I’m glad you and YH were able to just hangout together so much after though...I think embracing the time just the two of you is so important! That is great that your cycle has normalized now and that you were one of the two picked for a FET this next cycle!! That’s awesome you should be getting all the attention needed/wanted! I have everything possible crossed for you!

@legallykate I’m sorry your monitoring appointment wasn’t as good as hoped...but that sounds like a good plan to proceed with this cycle and still be open to another ER if needed before transfer! Hopefully your next monitoring appointment shows great growth and maybe even a few that had been hiding!

@mvt2003 that is good that YH has his brother to talk to about it, but too funny about him sharing his that data from his research! Bless their hearts! 😂

@kiki047 HIIIIIII friend!!! It is so funny you were able to jump back in this week too--I literally was thinking of you when I was posting. Like, "I miss Kiki so much, I wonder how she is doing and what is going on in her life?” So whenever I see that you have posted I feel like this:

So glad that you & YH are starting to feel better about things. I am SO thrilled that your RE decided to let you guys be one of the 2 FETs he can do starting back up! With your body getting back on track, it sounds like things will be much smoother and different this time around. Re: acupuncture, I definitely plan to do it this time. We had to stop for a long time due to COVID, but my RE believes strongly in it so we will start again next week. But I hear you: it's hard to know what exposure is worth the risk in these scary times. Good luck to you!

@emeraldduchess Yes, thank you! The work projects the past few months have been sooo intense, it is definitely a releif to put that behind me. Now just regular work everyday, which feels so nice. I am sorry that your body is pulling those shenanigans again--ovaries, get your act together, for real! You chose the perfect gif to represent your feelings. @legallykate Thanks for the well wishes with the BCP. Unfortunately, the positive change with switching to takin git at night was short-lived. Yesterday I could only lurk & love-tit on TB because I was so sick again. Only 5 more days of BCP, the end can't come soon enough! I cannot believe young girls and women do this to themselves on purpose. Men should be the ones taking the dang BCP. And sorry for the slow left ovary--hopefully those numbers and sizes on the right are all you need for success!

@mvt2003 I love that YH & BIL are discussin IVF treatment! They may come across like our two favorite jokesters, but it seems really sweet & endearing from an outside persepctive.

And I am beyond thrilled that things are finally picking back up for you!!! For whatever it's worth, I think you're making the right decision by sticking with your local RE.

Uuuuuugggghhh, I am so frustrated and confused. I just got a voicemail from my RE's office and my LH went back up from 18 to 20.2, but my estrogen and progesterone keep falling. The nurse said they're not sure I will ovulate now. I have a suspicion that because my last 2 cycles were around 40 days, they may have been an-O. I know any number of things could be causing that but I am so paranoid that this all has to do with my AMH falling from 1.4 to 0.69 in a matter of months. We don't have time for this.

@keikilove I have to go into the city hospital tomorrow morning to get another round of blood work done (4th day in a row). I'm just so upset that this kind of BS keeps happening. I KNOW I need to stay off Google because it's not helping.

AFM: I had another monitoring appointment this morning. They want me to do one more night of medications and trigger tomorrow evening for ER on Monday. I already reached out to all of my clients to cancel their appointments Monday, so I guess this is really happening!

@shoogapoff Looks like we are going to be retrieval day buddies! My left ovary decided to get back in the game so my doc wants me to do one more day too to see if we can pick up a few more contenders (I now have 15 follies, 10 of which are looking promising). Doing 8 am bloodwork and a noon appointment on Saturday and the ER on Monday is not ideal but if it means a few more potential eggs I can't really say no to that!

@bluetickgal you're right, we do feel really fortunate that our relationship has only gotten closer/stronger through IVF, and we don't take that for granted knowing how hard it can be for some couples who really feel the strain of it all.
@emeraldduchess huge WTF to your ovaries. I am so sorry friend, that is so frustrating. I completely know the feeling of your body not cooperating or doing what it's supposed to at the most critical time...

Thank you, ladies. 💚💚💚 I am sitting in the waiting room for my blood draw right now. The city hospital is kind of eerie with all the Covid restrictions. I had to leave DH in the parking garage because all patients have to be alone. I did test this morning with FMU and it was very dark, so here's hoping. I am just beyond frustrated at this point.

***Update*** The RE on call hasn't called me yet, but my results are in the patient portal and my LH jumped up along with my estrogen. Me to my reproductive system right now:

@kiki047 I didn't do acupuncture with my FET, but I did take 10 days off of work and was 100% lazy. I didn't do anything strenuous. I made sure I got lots of sleep, drank lots of water, and took leisurely walks. If you can take time off after, do it.

@ruby696 HI FRIEND!! Thank you for the advice. Last time we were basically in full lockdown so I didn't leave the house but we did go for a leisurely walk around the block on the 2nd day and I definitely overdid it and almost didn't make it home. It wasn't strenuous or anything but I was crampy and sore and out of breath, and it made my spotting worse (that had started before my FET and persisted until AF showed up). I still regret it and fully plan on being a couch potato this time around. MH is going to hold me to that as well. Not going to give my body any chance to mess around.
