@mamahosch OMG YAAAAS! I've been doing as much at home stuff as I can, but there is nothing to replace someone who can see your whole foot... plus it's getting harder to comfortably reach...
I still remember the time I walked into a liquor store a couple years ago, and they were selling a car seat. Probably the strangest thing I’ve seen at a liquor store. They wanted $10 for it.
I just came across this resource today and thought I'd post it here so anyone who is interested can check it out for information/birth plans etc. If it's not your cup of tea that's okay!
I need a wax more than a pedicure! My husband told me he's going to give me a pedi but honestly I'm trying to think what would be the safest option for me to get a wax somewhere. Problem is that cases in our county are going up so I don't think it's good timing and I cannot shave, I really don't tolerate hair growth after shaving and itch too much

@morethanamama have you ever tried to wax yourself? I use Nads on my eyebrows and it’s super gentle and washes right off if you get it somewhere you don’t want it. I though about asking my hubs to wax my neither regions for me. I used to wax but at this point I can’t see down there anymore to shave so🤷🏻♀️ I figured why not.
@morethanamama I waxed for the first time myself with bliss and it wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be. I def am looking fwd to going waxing again but will stick to self wax as long as I can. @anitamargarita_82 good to know about nads- I was debating that brand too but the reviews I had read were slightly mixed.
Have you guys heard of colorstreet? I gave myself a decent Mani pedi and it looked salon quality. It's real nailpolish but you apply like a sticker. There's no foot massage with which is totally what I need in my life right now hehe, but it works ways better then bottle polish.
Do nail salons carry vegan/non toxic options typically, or do you have to bring your own? Can you bring your own with covid restrictions? I was thinking I'd really like a pedi next month for the wedding since I have open toe shoes.. but I've never had one done before and I have no idea how it works 😳 I've been wanting to get some Sienna/Byron Bay polishes but it's a luxury brand so most salons here probably don't carry anything like it, right?
I don't even know where to post this. At hospital, getting admitted. Lost mucus plug, 3 cm dilated. No contractions, heart rate good. Not allowed to leave bed.

Ladies I’d like to re-propose we move to a private group here in the app. Now that we have someone going through something very difficult she may need a safe space to talk and get support where all the rando’s that read these boards can’t see what’s happening and what she’s going through or anyone else in the future.

@anitamargarita_82 I think you're completely right. I posted to the other thread before I saw what was happening. If we can get a private board going here, I think that would be best at least for now.
Why is it so hard to find maternity athletic shorts?!?! We are going “hiking” in a state park this weekend and I wanted a pair of maternity athletic shorts to wear so I don’t get so hot but literally no stores around here have them. Luckily amazon had some with 1-day shipping since we now have a fulfillment center nearby so I will be getting them tomorrow! Otherwise I’d be wearing workout leggings but would be way too hot.
@mamahosch Stores never carry maternity athletic shorts. It’s so annoying. Our fit4mom group pases them on because they’re so hard to find unless you go on amazon.
@mamahosch I know! It’s so dumb not to mention I love where it stays hot from April-October. No one here wears leggings during the heat, especially while pregnant. You’ll have to let us know how you like them. I’m always open to more athletic shorts!
