@kboydbowman I'm sure but at the moment our hands are too full and while I tend to cook a lot it gets hard with a toddler and a full time job. I'll have to look up the recipe for a quieter time!
Let me know if you want a recipe - I have one I've modded and tweaked until it's absolutely amazing (better than what you'll get in restaurants most of the time) and it seriously doesn't take much time (assuming you have a stand mixer), just dough rising time.

I’ve been on a damn chicken sandwich craze. So far I’ve had one from Wendy’s, sonic, and chick-fil-a. After I start to eat one it really just becomes unappetizing but then in a few days the craving hits again so I have to try a different one because the last one was so underwhelming/gross. It’s a horrible unfulfilling cycle I’m stuck in.
@angela444 I am also going to miss beer! In the past I enjoyed Holsten (german) non-alcoholic beer. Especially once summer rolls around. In the meantime, Lime Clamato (virgin Caesar, I'm Canadian) with pickles is my addiction. Mmmmm
Yesterday all I wanted was sour gummy worms. They were great....until they came back up. I tried a PBJ this morning and that didn't set well either. Also in the cooking is hard camp. My mom has offered to make dinner on Mondays for us, so last night was spaghetti and meat sauce and I couldn't eat. I am so ready for second tri.
@vanessa_lynne I'm also Canadian, I've never tried Clamato without vodka haha but I think with some pickle juice that would probably be enough like a Caeser. Add some pickled beans and mmmmm. I'm making myself thirsty hahaha.
@dedioni kind of. What I do is mix mushroom soup, sour cream, and the onion soup mix. Spread a little on the bottom of a casserole, place the chicken, and put the rest of the mixture on top. It’s so good with baby potatoes or mashed potatoes!
Currently munching a Coconut Cream Greek yogurt from Trader Joe's. If you don't do whole milk yogurt, you don't know what you're missing.

I swore today would be different. I would quit giving in to every little craving and make sure I got some truly nutritious food into my body for this rapidly growing little bean. Yet here I sit, watching old episodes of Criminal Minds, destroying a gigantic size bag of Sour Patch Kids, a Big Gulp Sprite, and the occasional Lindor chocolate just to confuse the palate. Perhaps tomorrow, I'll get my shit together.
Luckily for me, most of my cravings tend to be along the lines of OMG I MUST EAT A BAG OF BROCCOLI NOW. Though that doesn't explain the Sonic chicken sandwich and banana fudge shake I came home with yesterday...

Thai food for dinner, curry fried rice! So delish. DH is thai so alot of his family owns thai resturants and we get treated often. I had pancakes for lunch from the school cafeteria, they were good too! And I have a spinach banana coconut milk protein powder smoothie for breakfast everyday.
I seem to crave Culver’s while pregnant. Their butter burger is the best thing ever. I’ve seriously had it once or twice every week since I’ve found out.
@dogmomnowbabymom I am super envious of you. My mum is Thai so I've been craving a lot of her home cooking. (I try to recreate it but it's never quite the same!)
l seem to have entered the nausea all day phase - sorry to hear so many of you are going through this but it does make me feel better knowing I'm not the only one.
So far I'm living on Toast with butter and vegemite (I'm a kiwi so to me it's delicious lol) lots of crackers and cheese. I did have my first odd craving last night which was for a Lamb Gyro Salad. I got DH to pick it up for me today and my gosh it was AMAZING. 20 mins later old nausea came back but it was nice to have that ravenous feeling back - if just for a little while.
I think what I find worst is not being able to quench my thirst. Water and Seltzer just taste awful to me now but anything with a strong/bold flavor also makes me feel sick. Is there an American brand of cordial I could try adding to my water to help make it taste better? Suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
@kboydbowman omg broccoli was my 9 month long love affair during my first pregnancy! DH still hates eating it now because we ate so much of it that year.
Making pasta with kale pesto and chicken. Feeling meh about it but H requested it. I had some of my son's chicken nuggets as a snack 😂 and olives, which are a new craving!
@lissakiwi we don’t really do cordials in America, we have kool-aid. 😂 But for real at most grocery stores there are little bottles of liquid flavoring near the kool-aid and other drink mixes. Many have artificial sweeteners, so if you are avoiding those be sure to read the labels. Sometimes you can find Ribena or other cordials at international stores.
eta: they’re called “water enhancers” and the bottles are small enough to fit in your front women’s pocket.
@lissakiwi - there are also powdered flavor enhancers like Crystal Light and Ocean Spray, as well. Those typically contain artificial sweeteners like aspartame, though. MH prefers these ones:
Or these, since they contain no artificial sweeteners and use stevia instead.
I bought several flavors of Noosa today at the store that I can’t wait to eat 😆. I’m on the yogurt train too.
Noosa is DA BOMB

@deaddahliah@babyodo Thanks so much for the suggestions ladies! I did wonder if there were US versions and I will def look these up. I really miss Ribena (Blackcurrant juice mix) and Lemon Squash so looking forward to exploring what the US has to offer.
For all of the Thai Food addicts here - I would recommend a Larb Salad if you haven't tried it before. It's a nice light ground meat salad (typically comes in chicken or beef) - the main ingredients being coriander, lime/lemon juice, sometimes mint and roasted ground rice (you can add your chilli level to taste). I usually eat it with lettuce wraps and I found that the fresh flavors didn't aggravate my nausea as much as the noodle dishes. Just a suggestion but if you're like me and trying to find healthier options with fewer carbs but good protein content - this might work for you as well 😊
Officially in the “nothing sounds good” camp. I went to the grocery store today and spent almost no money because nothing sounds good. I love baking and I couldn’t even find one recipe that was appealing to me.
Lazy lunch.... honey roasted peanut butter and blueberry preserves on honey wheat bread with a banana, salted caramel Greek yogurt, and chocolate milk.

So many Thai lovers here!! Went for more Thai food last night. Tom yum soup and chicken satay.
Today I am feeling less than impressed with food, not sick, just nothing sounds good. Went to a local place called Bagel Castle for a bagel and cream cheese with DH. I had a protein shake for lunch and just ate a pb&j, tortilla chips, and raisins for dinner.
As for the water, I love cutting up cucumbers for my water. It is so refreshing!!

@dedioni my only meat craving has been burgers and chicken nuggets, go figure
Nothing sounded good today and while I've had a few full meals they've all been pretty disappointing!
