@mflowers929 that’s what I figured! I think if anything it might be starting to push everything up? I had a little pouch to start with so I know that’s definitely just fat but it just feels so much more pronounced so I was wondering if organs are starting to get displaced. Also It’s probably also mostly bloat because bloat. 😭
@geojaminee I was in Feb 2016 BMB too! I’m in a Facebook group but nobody has met up that I know of. I think they created one and I was too late to the group and they cut us off, so someone else started a new one! Funny we’re here again same BMB!
NO WAY! Same username? I was geojam224. My F16 group now is called "Bye Felicia". We first started a bump private group after I posted something about how TB gave me a warning for someone else and I was about to "Seriously Peace Out from TB" so our group was called Peace Out. Then we broke off into a Facebook group called Bye Felicia because we were officially leaving TB

Has anyone else been waking themselves up coughing in the middle of the night?
I remember this happening when I was a kid, I got strep throat all the time and then ended up getting my tonsils out but its been happening again for about a week. Don't know if its a pregnancy symptom or not so I figure this is the best thread to put it in.
@greyl my face is breaking out too but I’m continuing on my senegence face regimen in hopes that it evens itself out! I’m pretty big and I’m sure it’s mostly bloat and fat! I usually stand and suck in and then what’s sticking out I say is from the baby since I can’t suck it in! Who knows haha but I can’t wait to wear a maternity shirt and claim my belly as baby, whether it’s mostly fat or not HAHA!
@geojaminee yup same user name I have now! Our FB group is called “bumpies 2016” and o think we have maybe 25 ish people. It’s quiet now though, we usually post all the birthdays or new baby announcements !
Started experiencing pelvic bone pain I think? I don’t remember this with my first. It kind of feels like it’s in your butt when you’re sitting but when you’re standing it’s more under, like near your vagina. Mine is on the left and is pretty uncomfortable! I’ve been squatting and trying to stretch every now and then while I’m at work today. I’m sure others have experienced this- any remedies besides exercise? I found this graphic and I think this is the area I’m trying to describe.
@robinj716 Yup! It's probably closer to that part labled symphisus pubis because your body prepares for that to separate and stretch the soft tissues for labor. The unfortunate news is that it hurts like whoa and there's pretty much nothing to do for it
@robinj716 mine has been so sore near my tailbone, I have chronic back problems and my hips often get out of alignment so I wonder if the changes you're mentioning are causing the above in me.
@greyl I've been getting ssd's one breakouts on my chin, and some on my upper back and chest. I've still been using a brand I got from Walgreens-forget the name. It hasn't really helped much, but I haven't had the time to change since I want to make sure it doesn't have unsafe ingredients-AHA, BHA, retinol, salicylic acid etc.
@macheno thanks!! Yeah I have my usual face soap but with big breakouts I’m like what do I do??? Because I usually would use a salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide cream but I know those aren’t safe so I’m just like uhhhh. I hate popping zits because I’m a jumpy person and hate when they “pop” (I’m weird I guess haha) so they’ve just been chilling on my face. This morning H pointed to them and was like “what happened? Those are bad!” I was like THANKS I KNOW. men...
@greyl I use one from The Body Shop that's actually part of their anti-aging line. It's pretty gentle but clears up oil. I usually only use water though, I transitioned my skin and hair to one shower/bath with soap/shampoo a week a few years ago and it's been the best thing
Ughh I'm so jealous @pghren ! I really wanted to see an MFM when I'm visiting my parents in SoCal as a one off b/c twins is automatically high risk + I have barely controlled SCH and I also wanted a 4D ultrasound but insurance denied it saying I can't see 2 OBGYN types at once
Does anyone else feel like they're just getting more exhausted? I'm 12w today and I wasn't even this tired 6 weeks ago. I definitely wasn't this tired at this stage with DS

Just got an email with my US report and it says I have a 1.6cm corpus luteum cyst on my right ovary. I googled it and it seems normal. Annoyed I have to wait another 3 weeks to ask my doctor about it !
@mflowers929 I’ve been sleeping a lot. Like a ton at night and then I can take a nap during the day and still want to go to bed early.
@robinj716 that should be totally normal I think it will probably shrink as your placenta totally takes over. Do you have a message system that you can message your doc through just to clarify?
@robinj716 It shouldn't be cause for concern. It just means that you ovulated from your right ovary. Most women get cysts on one of their ovaries when they ovulate. If you become pregnant it remains until the placenta fully takes over giving nutrients to the baby. I had my NT scan last week- 12w4d- I still had my cyst on my left ovary. You can always call or email your OBs office to find out more.
Ive been nauseous since before a positive test. By 6.5 weeks I was throwing up a couple times a day and couldn’t eat anything my food aversions were so bad and had constant nausea that felt like I had to throw up all day. My RE put me on bonjesta and since I was weak and hardly functioning I decided to take it. Well that helped for a couple weeks (brought me down to just manageable all day nausea no puking) but then around 9 weeks it started getting bad again. I’m 10 weeks tomorrow and despite being on the max dose of bonjesta I’m back to feeling like I have to puke all day, and I did puke 3 times already today and feel like I could again. My head hurts badly and I feel weak. I’m drinking water to stay hydrated but that makes me nauseous too. Any words of wisdom or advice or just assurance this will get better soon would be appreciated 😂🤢🤦🏻♀️
Also- I will talk to my OB about it at my appointment Monday but would rather not call this weekend if I don’t need to bc I know what the answer will be- ER 😂 any pregnancy related weekend concern around here seems to lead to the ER
@momofmiracles31889 my OB told me my nausea would peak and be the worst at 10-12 weeks. I’m 9+2 now and Mine is bad, but doesn’t sound as bad as yours. I’m not vomiting. I had nausea so bad which is what prompted me to take a test. And I got the positive even before my missed period. I didn’t have nausea this bad with my son! Some days it’s terrible and some days I manage! I hope you get relief soon, maybe call your OB and see if there is anything else you can or take?
Edit; nevermind I see you’re going to call your OB. Are you getting enough fluids; don’t want to get dehydrated.
@greyl and @macheno thank you! I had no idea! I don’t remember by OB mentioning this with my first, but she wasn’t very through. The bump actually had a good article on this type of cyst and it put me at ease!
@robinj716 thanks for the encouragement! I was talking to a friend who suggested some diet changes (I was basically eating anything that sounded good which was mostly carbs carbs and sugar lol) and today I’ve kept to a lower sugar diet with some carbs but more protein and I’m still queasy but thus far have avoided puking 🙌🏻 So I’m hoping that will help! Hopefully we’ll get some relief too in a couple weeks from being further along. One food item that is really helping me is very cold or frozen homemade applesauce! I make it with my MIL and don’t add any sugar. Also chicken noodle soup, and hummus with pita chips and carrot sticks has been working for me! I think that additional protein is helping. And I’m making myself eat small portions every 1-2 hours with I also wasn’t doing. Hoping the bonjesta combined with these diet changes will get me to the 2nd trimester with less puking!
@shredgnarr When I went, I had to pay the specialist copay, so I think insurance treated it differently. And my Midwives referred me for the consult, so maybe ask your OB?
Would people be up for a mental health check in thread? I have several conditions I see a psychiatrist for, and pregnancy always makes things more interesting. It's why I had to go see MFM and part of why I was just told that I have to deliver in the hospital instead of the birth center and have to switch Midwife practices
@pghren definitely interested in a mental health board! It's def been a bit of a rollercoaster for me; I have MDD and had to quit taking 2 medications that I've been on for heckin YEARS, cold turkey. Thank goodness I'm allowed to stay on my SSRI for sure until the 3rd trimester!
@momofmiracles31889 Sorry the morning sickness has been so bad. Glad to hear you have found some diet changes to ease the symptoms. For me, eating small meals more often-every 2-3 hours-has been helping me.
Anyone felt any movements yet? I'm pretty sure that I felt baby flip last night when I was laying down 😬 I know it's still early but I did feel DS move at around the same time when I was pregnant with him (he did it when I had an ultrasound lol) and it felt similar

@mflowers929 oh how exciting, very eagerly waiting to feel that! How far along are you? Thinking I probably won't notice it right away as I don't really know what kind of feeling to watch for!
@mflowers929 No, I wish. I have an anterior placenta AGAIN (did with my last 2) so it’ll be at least another 2 weeks again I figure if it’s like the others. Which is still early compared to some so I shouldn’t complain. I think I get antsy because with our first my placenta was posterior and I felt him by 13 weeks! Not anything wild, just little butterfly flutters.
@readytobemama 12w3d. Just kind of felt like a fish flopping around, just about where my pelvic bone is. You really only feel the big movements until they're a little bit bigger, but man I love that feeling! With DS the first time I was laying on my belly (I was peaking on my neighbors who were being dumb lol) and this time I was laying flat on my back.

@chasingroygbiv how do you know if the placenta is anterior or posterior? Did the doc tell ya or is it something you'd be able to see on ultrasound pics? @mflowers929 does it kinda feel like a weird heartbeat moving around or am I just imagining things? Lol I'm at 12 weeks w/twins.
@shredgnarr my first ultrasound report to my doctor said mine was anterior. I have no idea what I had for my first pregnancy as I never saw a report! They say anterior is most common.
