I hit the third trimester slump and have been napping on and off all weekend. Hoping that this month the nesting kicks in some more so I can finish off the nursery.

@thepretzelchick I'm curious how you're planning to use the ring sling for back support? Is just wearing it supportive?
@mamaj1220@m6agua my urgency around actually getting my house in shape to put babies into it has definitely kicked up as well. I can't physically scrub showers right now but I made MH do it yesterday while I did the sinks and toilets 😂 I also finally started my Amazon registry yesterday and bought a minivan this weekend. So I think you can put me in the nesting group as well.
My major worry right now is how to get Transverse Twin B to turn. He's got his head under my ribs in a way that is just agonizing as he's getting bigger. If anyone has had any past luck with this please let me know, I've been living on spinningbabies.com
@allie456 My first was breech with her head in my right rib cage constantly, like around my gallbladder (no wonder it ended up needing to be removed!?). I did spinning babies, in particular the inversions they show on an ironing board and chiropractic care. I was already doing maintenance chiro 1x per month, but once I learned she was breech the chiropractor had me on my back and pushed into each side of my pelvis and did some other things to help release ligaments and whatnot. DD flipped head down maybe a day after that appointment (~33 weeks), so I attribute it to that. This time around baby boy is transverse with his head on my right side, occasionally in my ribs, but mostly a little lower. I've started doing the forward leaning inversions, I'm getting a massage this week (I think my pelvis is tight again), and I plan on doing chiropractic care again too.
My biggest complaint lately is my calves just aching non-stop. Saturday was so bad they were cramping up any time I tried to squat down to talk to DD1. I'm also insanely tired and out of breath all the time. I do also have a slightly weird discomfort in my pelvis lately when I'm walking. I feel huge every time I try to move I'm like a turtle on my back.
Still have a pinpoint pelvis/abdominal muscle pain that won't go away. I really still think it's a pulled muscle, and it's not like is going to be given a break to recover, so i'm nervous it's just going to stay/get worse. Other than that, I've started swelling if I don't get up & walk enough during the day. working from home and being crazy busy doesn't help. Thankfully DH lets me put my feet up in the evenings and will massage them if they hurt. What i really need to do though is take a mid-day walk to get the blood flowing!!
Just a note on heart burn, mine is significantly worse when my stomach is totally empty. Just eating a couple bites of something every hour or two (I leave almonds out, but really anything works for me) makes a huge difference.

I am right there with you all who said nesting. I want to nest so badly, but we aren't moved in yet so it would be pointless.
I had such bad heartburn last night that I basically slept in a reclined position. Not nearly as bad as previous pregnancies though, so I'll take what I can get.
@m6agua that's really helpful. Does your chiropractor specialize in prenatal or is it just a regular chiropractor? I've been meaning to go anyway but this is just more incentive.
@thepretzelchick that's cool, I wouldn't have thought to use the sling in that way.
I've been sleeping partly sitting up for heartburn reasons since December. I will not miss that when these babies are born.
Im having this weird numb feeling on part of my belly. It's the top left side, same spot where it feels like baby is under my rib cage. Not sure if it's a pinched nerve or something?
@TattoosandLace I was up I think every 2 hours last night popping tums. Went to get prilosec tonight hoping for some relief and see that it can take 4 days to work. I wish I could sleep sitting up, but I don't even think that would help.
@allie456 My chiropractor was just a regular chiropractor. I saw her prior to pregnancy and then all throughout. I have no clue if she was “Webster certified” my guess is she wasn’t, but had an idea on things she could do.
She left to open her own practice in her hometown, so now I see a different one at my practice. I’ve also gone to a functional Medicine practice in the last year that had a bunch of chiropractors. I know they do the Webster techniques and just seem to adjust me better overall than my main place. I haven’t gone in for anything to adjust baby’s position this time yet.
I'm bleeding today. I called my OB and left a message, but I'm not even home, I'm a 3.5 hour train ride away. Baby was moving a lot early this morning and I did just feel her move again.

@catem07 so stressful! I hope you can be seen soon. It is one symptom my OB advised that they will definitely want to check out in person, so plan on finding a way to a doctor for sure. Try not to stress as it’s not necessarily a big dramatic problem, but the doctor will want to find the source of it. Hang in there and keep us posted.
@catem07 I hope everything is fine and the bleeding is shortlived. Hoping baby keeps moving around so you have some peace of mind until you see your doctor. Please keep us updated. ❤
@catem07 thinking of you and sending you all the strength
For those dealing with heartburn, my doctor said Pepcid was safe. When my heartburn was really bad I took it for about 3 days and it really helped. I keep Tums in my purse at all times and will pop one if I'm having some heartburn but on days it's bad I usually go back to the once-a-day Pepcid. Drinking a glass of warm milk was also the only thing that provided immediate relief when it was really really bad. I read somewhere (sorry if it was here) that doing the eagle pose with your arms helps if it's at the peak of the heartburn and I've found it to help a tiny bit as well.

Has anyone asked their doctor about using hemorrhoid cream? Specifically I had bought some Dr. Butler's after reading reviews online, but the package says to ask dr if pregnant. I didn't think of it at my appointment and don't feel like calling about it right now since they aren't that bad, but if anyone has asked I'd be curious what the advice was.
Thanks everyone! I called my doctor and spoke to a nurse, she is supposed to get back to me after she speaks to the doctor. Hopefully they can move my Thursday appointment to tomorrow.

@catem07 I hope baby keeps moving and you can get it tomorrow, and that it's nothing concerning!

I'm going in in about 45 minutes. Which is good that its not the afternoon because I'm supposed to do my glucose test and I don't want to worry about what I'm eating the rest of the day.
Thanks for all your concern!
