What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: temping, opks, CM tracking
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): also TFAS- we have a 4.5 yo boy that is lobbying hard for a sibling lately. I work from home in tech and my husband is in sales. We have 2 mini dachshunds that are my shadows. I love to bake to relieve stress (lately my counters have been full of fresh bread... that I can’t even eat....). I have been a long time lurker on TTGP but have not posted since I was pregnant with my son.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: temping, okp. *tw kids, but still nursing, so my cycles seem to a bit wonky. I guess we’ll see what happens.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): also TFAS. Kiddo is 14 months. Also have a lovely but over enthusiastic dog. Work in a giant government bureaucracy. I keep thinking a should get a new hobby. I swim a few times a week, and used to knit- maybe I should take that back up!
How many months have you been TTC?: My IUD was removed today - so it’s my first month.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: I’ll start temping once I get a period, I was on Mirena and didn’t get periods while on it. After that, opks.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): I have a 3 year old son, two dogs and two cats. When TTC DS, I was traveling a lot for work and seemed to always be gone when I was ovulating. I’m hoping for better timing this time around. I really enjoying knitting and I’m a huge reader - mainly romance!
Hello group! I'm a newbie to the site and excited to get to know everyone and share experiences!
Ages (you and SO): I’m newly 34 and he’s 38.
How many months have you been TTC?: 2.5 long years! Unexplained Fertility at this point, but specialist has said I have low ovarian reserve.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: Currently on my first round of IVF. On my 3rd day of meds and hoping to do a retrieval on the 24th of February! Previously have tried naturally, with letrozole only, with Clomid and IUI twice; all without success.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): No kids, working on that Other than that I love to travel with DH, watching movies, spending time with friends and family, and reading! TTC was on the backburner for the first few years of our marriage as DH had lost his job right after we got married, so things were a bit chaotic living in our 1 bedroom apartment. We recently bought a home and celebrated our 5 year anniversary and are finally ready to have a child, when we discovered that its not as easy as we would have imagined. Hoping IVF gets us to where we want to be: Parents!
Finally time to jump out of «lurk» mode and join in😁✨
Ages (you and SO): I’ 36 and he’s 34
How many months have you been TTC: began in oct 2019, but got benched until now due to travels in areas with high risk of Zika. Finally got the all clear!
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?:
Temp and folic acid for now
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.):
I work as a special needs coordinator and case worker, but have a BcS in Nursing. He works in IT.
We met while volunteering with the red cross, and spend on average 4-5 hours per week volunteering now. We both love traveling, both of us hav visited around 50 countries so far. I also love knitting, and you can often find needles and a ball of yarn in my bag. I often knit presents for friends or family whenever a new baby arrives as well as my local NICU..... i guess it’s my way of getting a few «good karma» points🤷🏼♀️
Happy to be here, and Looking forward to getting to know all of you!
How many months have you been TTC?: 1 month so far
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: Clomid w/ TI
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): We have a 12mo old, two obnoxious but lovable dogs. I’m an attorney, he’s in natural gas. We don’t have a lot of time for hobbies these days, but usually I love to read and he loves to golf. It took us 3 years and *TW* 5 losses *TW* to have our daughter, so I’m hopeful but very cautious this time around. I used to participate a lot on the TTCAL board, but haven’t been active since my daughter. Always lurking and rooting for everyone, of course. But I feel like it’s a good idea to jump back in early on in the process this time around. Hello all!
Hi 👋, for those of you that mentioned IF treatments, testing, IUIs, IVFs, you are welcome to join the weekly IF thread! We usually start a new thread on Mondays and update the same thread throughout the week. See you there!
Hey all, jumping back in here. General TW for paragraphs below.
I joined the October ‘20 BMB and then had a miscarriage early last week. I’m sad but in a much better place mentally than my previous loss. I know we’ll get through it. I’m not quite ready to participate in the dailies yet (once I get to CD 1 I’ll be there) but I think I’ll post here and there if that’s ok.
Here are my details: I’m 38, DH is 50 (but a young one! ) We got a BFP on our 4th cycle TTC, so going on our 5th cycle now I guess. We are TFAS (kids are 5, 3.5 and almost 2) and I’m a SAHM. My hobbies include drinking wine, Peleton-ing, and taking care of our two dogs, 1 cat and 17 chickens. We totally don’t have a farm and live squarely in suburbia but we like to pretend we’re farmers, ha.
Although the MC was shitty I’m glad to have this community. Looking forward to posting more.
Hi All, I haven't been active on TB at all in quite some time, but here I am, and I figure it's better to intro right off the bat rather than lurk for forever.
Ages (you and SO): I'm 35 and he's 36
How many months have you been TTC?: 6... which makes it time for me to see a RE. I have an appointment with my OB on Friday, so I have a feeling things are about to get interesting.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: temping, opks, and cm tracking
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): I have two girls, ages 5 and 2 and am an elementary school teacher, so hobbies? What are those?
@kmalls dammit dammit dammit!!!! I am so very sorry, my friend. 😞💔 ugh this is all so unfair and so very sucky but I am happy to hear how you are handling it all. You are rightX you will get through this... and you will be stronger than before. I’m here for you if you need! 💜💜💜
