Guys! For those emergencies where there are no bathrooms in sight, get a car potty! My MIL gifted me one, and I swear, it has been a lifesaver on so many occasions. We even had a poop emergency at the pumpkin patch this past fall. I just put DS in the back of the Atlas on his car potty, let him take his time doing his business, then dumped it out in the porta-pot they had on site. At least I know ours was clean! And it was super useful when we were just potty training him, too. It's on my must-have list!
So, this evening I went to flush the toilet and Nothing. I checked the back of the toilet and there’s no water back there 😖 Hubby is on night shift til 7am. So, this is going to be a fun task for me tonight. AFTER dinner of course 😜

So we sold my husbands rifle today! We got $450 for it. Once I deposit it monday and make a car payment we will only owe $409 on our car total!

We told DHs dad and SMIL on Saturday at FILs birthday party! So much fun, everyone was so happy! Then we got to tell a few more people at Church today, who were genuinely really happy for us, too. It's such a nice feeling not to have to try to keep it under wraps anymore. 😊

I'm exhausted this morning. We did a combination Super Bowl party and First birthday party for my son last night with just the immediate family. It was relaxed and fun. We shared the news with the family by having my son open a gift from my husband and I that was a shirt that said big brother. They are all very excited to see our family growing. Now it's almost 6 am and I have to leave really early today for a conference 2 hours away. It will surely be a long day. I'm already excited for bedtime!
@riatortillaxo Congratulations on announcing and on your son's first birthday! GL getting through the day. I'm super exhausted too. I worked Saturday then we stayed down at FILs way too late, then up and out for Church, where we don't get home till after 3PM.... Sigh.
Funny thing is too, I was just thinking as I went to bed last night hey! My neck seems to be so much better! It was a little achey first thing in the morning at Church, but then at some point in the afternoon over lunch or whatever I stopped noticing, and by the time I hit the pillow, I was like Wow! Maybe it went away!
Up again for work, like NOPE!!! Still here. Ughhhhhhh 😩😩😩

I'm so tired today as well. Stayed wayyyy too late at our friends' house bc they had a football ice cream cake (the one with extra crunchies on the outside), and I had to stay and have a piece!! Then we went by my ILs as they live right near our friends and I could tell hubs wanted to watch the rest of the game given the score... so we stayed. Then when I finally made it home I couldn't fall asleep then was up at 4am with my mind racing and couldn't fall back asleep.... Wahhh going to be a long day.
