Due date? September 10th based on LMP and early ultrasound (had a scare with some spotting a few days ago, but heartbeat was strong so I'm choosing to be optimistic! ❤️)
How’d you find out? It's my first pregnancy so of course I started testing at 8 DPO like maniac. But the lines got darker every day.
Other children/pets? Just a little pup named Lentil
Job? Marketing manager at a tech company
Things you like to do? Read and write, spend time with girlfriends, and EAT.
Spouse/Partner? Married to DH for 4 years. He's 7 years older than me so has been waiting patiently for me to be ready for kiddos. He's so freaking excited.
First appointment? Jan 27
Any symptoms? Nausea, exhaustion. I just wanna eat and sleep all day. And my sense of smell is off the charts.
Due date, guessing September 10th if dates are accurate. I'm an elementary school teacher. Found out because my back was killing me and I can smell EVERYTHING! I've been married for about 2 and a half years, jo other kids yet. Just a fur baby! This is my first pregnancy. I love to read and play board games and have no athletic skills whatsoever.
@cnf2013 I was originally just doing the half but I raised enough for CMN Hospitals that I could get a spot for the challenge! Good luck during the race!!
Due date? Sept 19 2020 (according to my calculations, I’ll find out more once I have an ultrasound I suppose)
How’d you find out? I was do for my period on the 10th of this month and when it didn’t come that day I decided to test, thinking it would be negative and the positive showed up so fast I didn’t even have time to sit down.
Other children/pets? No kids, but I have a pet cat Simon and m in little baby doggy Felix the chihuahua.
Job? Currently work as a waitress while finishing school.
Things you like to do? I play guitar and ukulele, I sing, I love nature walks and being outdoors.
Spouse/partner? Boyfriend, very supportive. He has 2 children from a previous marriage.
First appointment? I have a doctors appointment this Wednesday the 22 and I’m hoping they will be referring me to an ob or something like that!
Any symptoms?
Not really yet, some very mild cramping, breast tenderness and a lot of mood swings but I’m a moody person as it is lol. I know I’m so early still but I constantly worry about the concept of miscarriage. I read so many story’s and watch so many videos and I’m having a hard time just feeling happy because I’m so paranoid that I’m just going to lose the baby. I’m terrified I’ll go the the doctors and they will do a blood test and tell me I’m no longer pregnant or something like that. It’s been so hard to go a day with out stressing over this.
I feel like its too early, but I've been lurking this board since before my BFP, and feeling like its time to get involved.
Due date? September 24 based on LMP.
How did you find out? We've been trying and when my period was a few days late had a feeling but didn't tell DH. I had a box of cheapies but they kept coming out BFN. Had an expired FRER, so took that Thursday morning, it was BFP, but since it was expired it spent the day believing it was false. Took a non expired when I got home that night, and turned a digital on Saturday 1-2 weeks.
Job? I work in construction and rail, planning out construction projects around train schedules.
Hobbies? Knitting, reading, recently learning how to weave, also a volunteer with Girl Guides
Other children//pets? Nope
Spouse? DH is an engineer, been married since 10/2017
First Appointment? One scheduled with my GP on 01/29
Symptoms? I keep thinking I've had none, then I remember things like that day early last week when I thought I was a balloon I felt so bloated, and how for the first time in my life I've been waking up to pee in the middle of the night. I've been forgetting things since my BFP, but I'm attributing that to excitement/shock. A little bit of heart burn, but very similar to when I've needed antacids over the past few years for general stomach issues.
Also, for the first time today my coffee does not taste very good.
I had gotten off my birth control 12/09/2019, as my husband and I wanted to start trying to have our first child. I was 3 days late, and I had taken 3 tests, all which came up negative. I just felt different, so I went out to get a First Response test on 01/10/20, and it came back positive! I took 3 more just to be sure. I made an appointment right away for the following Monday with my PCP to make sure I could continue my current medication for my hypothyroidism and to do a blood pregnancy test, which also came back positive!
No other children, this is my first pregnancy as well. We have 2 dogs, an 8 year old German Shepard/Husky and a 2 year old Black Lab.
I work for a physicians office as a referral coordinator.
My husband (married 3/25/18) works as an assistant maintenance supervisor for an apartment community- but is in the process of being promoted soon!
My first pre-natal appointment is today, actually! I am very excited, and hoping all is well with baby!
Symptoms so far include very sore boobs and a little nausea!
How I found out: I took a test 6 days before I was supposed to start but “knew” I wasn’t pregnant so I took it, set it down then went to church and totally spaced looking at it again. When I checked at night it was faintly positive, which I just though it was because I had waited for so long that it couldn’t be accurate. But I had taken these test enough and every time I checked it hours later it was always still neg. So I decided to pick up another one the next day, took it right away and it was positive!
Other kids: I have three toddlers (1,3 &4) a dog and a flock of chickens!
Job: domestic engineer! SAHM
Things I enjoy: Running, raising toddlers and homework. (Finally going to have my bachelors done next year)
Spouse: CPA. So I pretty much am a single mom for the next 3 months
Symptoms: vivid dreams, smelling all the smells, itchy neck, I can already feel the relaxin hormone making my hips sore.
@teachermom89 My due date is 9/18 but I would be a repeat csection at 9/11ish for a singleton. If this twin pregnancy works out I’ll assume it would be around 37 weeks. When we thought it was one, I would maybe go in for a week. If it’s two, I don’t see me going in at all in the fall. We usually start the Wednesday after Labor Day.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
Hi all! I’m Kelsey! I can be long winded - bear with me .
Due date?
I will need to confirm it on the dating scan, but I think around September 16. I have not had a period since getting pregnant with my first. Basing this date on when I think I conceived. How’d you find out?
I felt faint one morning last week & had been gagging while brushing my teeth for a few days. I took a test in the evening & ended up just leaving it on the toilet and forgot about it. I saw it later on when I turned in early (hubby & a couple we see often were playing a board game). Needless to say I did not end up sleeping I was so excited. Other children/pets? My son turned 1 just before Christmas, so he is just about 13 months old. Job?
Stay at home mom, a very minor social media gig for hubby’s company & I am a supply teacher (but not taking shifts currently). Things you like to do?
Playing / reading with little man. Walks, yoga, board games. I am an organizer for my church’s annual VBS.
Spouse/partner? We are high school sweethearts and have been together for 10 1/2 years, married for 6 1/2. We were married at 20 so that’s something a little different about us. First appointment? February 6. Can’t wait! Any symptoms?
Not much yet besides a few low pressure moments & tooth brushing aversion. It was right at the 6 week mark last time that I had more symptoms, so if my calculations are right I’m headed for more this week aha!
Hubby & Me: Born 1993 Married: August 2013 Son: December 2018 Baby in heaven: February 2020, was due Sept
Pretty shocked and thankful to find myself here after a year and a half of trying to get pregnant (including one unsuccessful IUI). This cycle was supposed to be my second IUI but instead we got stuck in a blizzard over Christmas. So we gave it a (truly half-hearted) try the old fashioned way and somehow cycle 22 was the lucky one.
Got my BFP this weekend after AF was a no-show, confirmed with a blood test on Saturday and repeat betas today. Based on LMP my due date is 9/25 but I wasn't tracking so I'm not totally sure when I ovulated. My first appt is in a month, aka 15 eternities from now. So far I have to second @awilliams00 on symptoms (holy boobs batman!).
Other things: I am an engineer. MH and I have a 3yo DD who is generally a delightful human being, and two cats. My hobbies include hiking, biking, Zumba, knitting, yoga, and gifs.
And lastly but most importantly: if anyone from TTGP is reading this, I am sorry for ghosting the last couple months. The combination of IF + the holidays was not a good look for my mental health. I will continue lurking, love-titting, and silently rooting though, because you ladies are truly the most amazing people, especially the IF ladies. I can't wait to celebrate all the 2020 grads to come. 🌈 🌈 🌈
And @NYTino24 happy to see you here! All the good vibes for you and your pregnancy.
@cnf2013 I was originally just doing the half but I raised enough for CMN Hospitals that I could get a spot for the challenge! Good luck during the race!!
Good luck to you as well! Sorry you're planning to walk. I hope you still have a great time.
@jennifer_louise So happy you made it here!!! Hope you get nice beta numbers!!

Other children: Two sons, a 5 (almost 6) year old and 3 1/2 year old. One cat.
Job: I work in regulatory compliance, making sure people are following state and federal requirements related to prior authorizations and claims.

This is my 3rd time joining a birth month community on the bump and I always end up as an epic lurker despite my intentions...
Due date: September 22
How did you find out?: We were not trying. I have been having really weird dreams and have been really tired so I thought I would test, just in case. Surprise! Guess its true when they say the pull and pray method is not effective

Job: SAHM, former HS science teacher.
Hobbies: reading, cross stitch, working out
Spouse: Our 5 year marriage anniversary is this March.
Hey there everyone, FTM and super excited to be here!!
Due date?
September 9th, based on day of ovulation. Didn't track my period accurately enough to use that, but I tracked sex enough to know we did the day after ovulation and the day before too whoops 😅
How did you find out?
Took the first test at about eleven days late, looked up the result but still wasn't sure. Took another one a few days later that actually said words on it and was still very shocked to see it read "pregnant".
Job?
Currently working in a warehouse, searching for a new job where I'm not on my feet ten hours a night. Really hoping I can make it long enough to keep an income.
Hobbies?
Oh dear goodness, I can't think of anything besides Netflix and sleeping since that's all I do anymore 😝 I used to enjoy gaming and writing, pretty hopeful I'll return to it someday. Photography too, love me some nature photography.
Other children/pregnancies?
No children, no other pregnancies that I ever knew about.
Pets?
One year old blue heeler named Princess and a rascally few year old cat named Milla.
Spouse?
Significant other for me! Our relationship has always been pretty complicated due to the nature of it forming, but we've lived together on and off for the last year and had our six month anniversary in December. Someday I'm sure we'll be married, and he's pretty excited I think since he'd just about convinced himself that he really is infertile.
First Appointment?
Got one scheduled for February thirteenth, when my SO and I can finally learn just when to be expecting our bundle of joy!
Symptoms?
Ridiculous amounts of nausea and morning sickness, enough to where I don't eat much for fear of just losing it again. Food is unappealing anyway so I'm not eating much rn 😞 Very tired. I'm about ready to hibernate, y'all.
Anything else interesting?
I guess that my projected due date is four days after my sister's birthday? We're very close and she's so excited at the thought of me potentially having my kid on her birthday.
I've been lurking here for a few days and figured I should introduce myself! First timer here and completely anxiety-ridden, hoping to find comfort and community in this group
Due date? September 9 based on LMP but OB thinks I ovulated late (September 16?)
How’d you find out? POAS in the grocery store bathroom on New Year's Day
Other children/pets? Just a fur child - 3.5 year old black lab.
Job? I work in marketing!
Things you like to do? Exercise, cook, watch trashy reality TV, hang out with my dog.
Spouse/partner? My husband and I got married in November 2018
First appointment? I have had two due to spotting. I had blood test to confirm elevating hcg then an ultrasound last week that showed sac / yolk and *maybe* the flicker of a heartbeat? Would have loved it to be a sure thing, but trying to trust the process and wait it out until my next (original) appointment on Feb 3.
Any symptoms? Hardly any at all! Which freaks me out, of course. Only noticeable one has been diarrhea every few days. Very pleasant.

We've been trying, so I was OCD testing. Cheapies were negative but bought a first response and boom! Tested for about 2 weeks straight with cheapies after that lol
Job?
I am A mortgage loan officer
Hobbies?
Spending time with my family, I like to bake, cook and swim. But mostly I work.
Other children//pets?
Soon to be 5 year old son and a dog (just put our other dog down after Xmas
Spouse?
Yes
First Appointment?
Scheduled for 1/23 so nervous. We’ve had 2 losses right before this.
Symptoms?
All of it. Sore boobs, nausea all the time and hungry at the same time, so tired, super smell. I cannot stomach anything about meat. I almost threw up talking about it with my hubby tonight
Due date: September 25, based on LMP
How did you find out?: The week before my period was due my boobs were unusually tender and I was having extremely vivid dreams (not usual for me). Since we have been trying for another baby I decided to take a test 4 days before my period was due and it was positive.
Other children: Two sons, a 5 (almost 6) year old and 3 1/2 year old. One cat.
Job: I work in regulatory compliance, making sure people are following state and federal requirements related to prior authorizations and claims.
Hobbies: I enjoy running, though I have taken a break for awhile now. Playing videos games with my kids. Sleeping (whenever I get the chance and don’t have insomnia 😭).
Spouse: My husband and I have been together for 10 year and married for 8.
First appointment: 2/17
Symptoms: sore boobs, vivid dreams, fatigue (more so than usual), TMI pooping daily (not normal for me)
This is my 3rd time joining a birth month community on the bump and I always end up as an epic lurker despite my intentions...
Due date: September 22
How did you find out?: We were not trying. I have been having really weird dreams and have been really tired so I thought I would test, just in case. Surprise! Guess its true when they say the pull and pray method is not effective
Kids/pets: Two sons, 3 year old and 1 year old. 2 big dogs
Job: SAHM, former HS science teacher.
Hobbies: reading, cross stitch, working out
Spouse: Our 5 year marriage anniversary is this March.
First appointment: not scheduled yet
Symptoms: vivid dreams, tired, bigger boobs
