This may be a stupid question @photographerwife but did they perform an abdominal or a transvaginal ultrasound?

FWIW, my HCG at 5+3 was like 7600 so I mean give it two more days and it could be 6200, kwim? I'm not an expert but that doesn't sound out of normal range to me. Fx the spotting is not too serious and you get good news soon... 🙏🙏🙏🙏

@BusinessWife she started out transvaginal and Did an abdominal ultrasound to look at one of my ovaries that she couldn’t see.

This was what I got back today 😭 I just feel like there is no hope. My levels are so low compared to others as far along as I am. My ultra sound isnt until thursday 1/9 which feels like forever away 😔

It’s the middle of the night and I cannot sleep. I got some not so good news today. My HCG levels are not rising. The good news is I’m not spotting and my boobs are still are tender. I have to go in for another draw, but they’re not super hopeful, even though I’m in the normal range for 5w+ 6d. Still, just not going up. Have been drinking a ton of water which helped with the moderate cramping a lot. Hopefully this is just a fluke. The person doing my draw could barely find a vein, which is pretty normal for me, as I have tiny ones. Once she found it, she could barely get it to flow and said she ‘thought’ she got enough blood... At the time I wanted to ask if she wanted to try again, because she kept looking at the vile. In the end, they were able to see my HCG levels, so I think she got enough blood. But I’m just hoping this has something to do with the low HCG levels, but I think it’s just my wishful thinking. 🥺

I am 7w5d today. I had a 7w1d ultrasound sound and they found a heart beat. But today morning I saw some vaginal bleeding. I am waiting for my RE’s clinic to open to call them. Has anyone experienced this? I was looking at the dates and this would have been the time I would have had a period if I weren’t pregnant. Is anyone else going through this?

Hi everyone I haven't posted in here before I just confirmed a pregnancy yesterday w my dr who feels I'm about 6weeks 3 days based on LMP. I haven't had an ultrasound yet. A bit concerned because today i had some light brown discharge start. Should I be worried at all? I've had mild cramping on and off the last 3 weeks but felt it was mostly digestive cramps as I've been fairly constipated.

Any insights helpful hoping there's no need to worry.

@meagangrhm I believe that light brown spotting is nothing to worry about. The cramping is normal. I have experienced cramping throughout this pregnancy and that is completely normal as well.

@meagangrhm Like @blackgirlmagic said, brown spotting is generally nothing to worry about and can be caused by a lot of different things, like implantation bleeding, sex, or anything else that irritates the cervix. What I’ve heard is that you should call your doctor if the bleeding increases or turns red or pink or if the cramping is localized to one side. Hoping the spotting ends and you can set your mind at ease!

Ultrasound still isnt until Thursday but I got my blood drawn again. It has continued to rise; yesterday's draw was 1,289 compared to 48 hours before at 814. That's still only a 58% rise. My spotting at stopped and I still have no pain. I still just feel like this one isnt going to happen. This is so hard being in such middle ground 🥺

I have an appointment today at 11 and I’m very ready. The past two days when going to the bathroom the toilet paper has had a very light pink tinge to it. It’s gotten slightly darker but not red. Today it was straight brown and I’m extremely crampy.

I’m so sorry for the women who have spotting continually throughout. I know spotting can be normal but this is so nerve wracking.

@tyrion_ thank you, unfortunately yesterday did not go well.
I’m officially out. My baby is ectopic. I went back for another hcg draw and it raised from 3181 to just over 10,000. But still nothing in my uterus. Thankfully my tube hadn’t ruptured so I was given a chemo injection (methotrexate) to hopefully terminate without surgery. There is still a chance that it could happen, but they will be monitoring my levels often. I’m so sad. This baby is so so wanted. I’ll have to wait a few months, but I’ll be heading back to ttgp. I hope everyone has a H&H rest of their pregnancy.
