9weeks today and this first trimester has been hard. Besides forgetting everything lol I am
constantly dry heaving. Not vomiting just feel like I’ve had a hangover for weeks. All day, everyday. I absolutely hate ginger so I will definitely try the jolly ranchers. Can’t wait to get through this first trimester and hope 2nd trimester is better. Over it lol. But thankful I’m even here. Have had cravings for crab 🤷🏼‍♀️

  • Now I want grapefruit!
  • @lachnessmomster I also have awful terrible cystic acne, all along my jawline. Oddly enough, my last pregnancy cleared it right up and it stayed away until I stopped BFing. A few weeks into this pregnancy, it again seems to be improving a bit. Here's hoping that's your (bizarre but welcome) experience this time around as well!
  • Forgot about jolly ranchers for nausea! I plowed through a few bags of the sour ones with my first, they helped a lot. Morning sickness has kicked in big this week, which isn't fun but is super reassuring to me since it's only ever ramped up with my healthy pregnancies in the past. So I'll take it! I'm simultaneously craving spaghetti and gagging at the thought of it so that's been interesting. The tiredness and short fuse have been the worst symptoms so far, I haven't been very fun to be around for a few weeks. Looking forward to the much more energetic second tri.

  • @Mommy2Boys87 just got some zofran!
Hope you are having some relief too!!

  • Anyone taking unisom for nausea? I think it’s helping but I wake up so groggy. I just started this week while on winter break but I’m not sure I’ll be able to continue when I go back to work in a few days. Has anyone tried a half dose? I’m wondering if that would be better.
  • Uuuuuggghhh. So far, no puking, but I feel nauseated off and on all day. Same with last pregnancy, except gross smells are really triggering it. I'll be fine, and then have to change my 10-month-olds poopy diaper, and I'll dry heave. Super annoying! I'm a SAHM so not much I can do about it.
  • Super nauseous all day long everyday for the past couple weeks now. I’m around 8 weeks along and have had a lot of cramping or kind of like Braxton Hicks feelings (even though it’s way too early). Anyone else feeling these? I didn’t have them with my first.
