Edit: I edited to include loss or threatened loss support as well.
I thought I’d go ahead and get this started although I hope it goes unused. I took the following blurb from July 2020:
This thread is to support anyone experiencing spotting and/or bleeding.
All conversation surrounding these issues should go here. The TW in the title applies for the whole thread. Please beware of reading ahead if you think you might be triggered by conversations about spotting/bleeding.
Finally, remember that most of us are not medical professionals, and even if we were, it's always best to call/visit your doctor with questions or concerns. Feel free to ask questions and voice concerns, but please do not expect anyone here to be able to offer you anything but support. The most important thing to do is to call your doctor. They can offer answers; we can offer support
Re: **TW** Loss/Spotting/Bleeding support thread
I guess I will start this dreaded thread off. I have been spotting every day, after almost every BM and after sex since the day I found out I was pregnant (about 2 weeks now). I spotted with DD (5 1/2 now). This is an unexpected, but not unwanted by any means, pregnancy. Not too sure how to feel. I tried to move up my first appointment with maternity Doc, but they have no spots till Thursday.
Keepung fingers crossed.

TMI(?)
I have terrible IBS that likes to dance the lines between diarrhea and constipation, and after every BM that isn’t normal I get some spotting.
It’s definitely nerve wracking. I’ll be thinking of you at your doctors appt on Thursday. Hopefully everything will be ok and they will be able to put your mind at ease. ❤️

I know how stressful this can be. My bff gave me this advice last night "Happy and relaxed mama is the best environment for your baby to grow". I know it is WAY easier said then done to simply not stress about spotting or bleeding in pregnancy, but what we do or don't do at this point has really no baring on our little ones thriving. Hoping for good news for you as well.

But I’m 8 weeks on Sunday, and I’ve been spotting brown since 5.5 weeks. And at 7 weeks exactly, I had an episode of bright red bleeding after sex. Scared me so bad, so I went to the ER but everything looked fine with baby and cervix. Red blood has stopped, now just light brown discharge every day. 😭 Hate this, so scary. (I also am struggling with constipation big time)
@Knottie147205343 . Hope the doc has some insights and it's nothing serious 💖
Also, if you change your screen name and pic it makes it easier to interact and recognize you.
