@lulam13 Mine took 5-10 minutes and the clinic sends the results to my midwife, so I’ll find out next week at my appointment, unless she calls me before then. So it depends on where you get it done.
Got to see my little jellybean on Halloween. Everything is looking great and I couldn't have been more pleased with the photos. Ultrasound ended way too fast though. Cant wait for the next one!
Can I take a moment to vent about places that charge for ultrasound pictures? It’s unfortunately a thing in some places here in Canada that if you want a $.04 printout of your baby’s ultrasound you have to pay $6 or $15 or whatever.
Posting this one because I’m just excited to show off our GIRL! She had her legs crossed 90% of the time but we finally got some good shots and a few decent profiles. 14+5.
@pirateduck so, being in Canada we don’t actually see the billing because it automatically goes through the provincial health coverage. Google tells me an average pelvic ultrasound is around $220. In terms of what I specifically pay, it’s just a completely different system because it comes out of the income tax pot.
This this was from my NT scan Nov. 5th. Was 13+3, although measured 13+5. I’ve just been creeping lately and not participating! But I love seeing all the babes! So cute!
I wish we had a 3D at my OB office, last pregnancy I got to have a couple 3D because I was high risk but I’m hoping to avoid it this time but still sad about missing out on 3D.
Hi everyone! After our first awful appointment back at the end of September, we have switched offices and got a second ultrasound with the new practice! Thank you to everyone who gave positive and encouraging feedback. I didn’t know if that was just how appointments go and it helped to know it didn’t need to be that way.
Happy to report baby is healthy, developing just fine and squirming around! We are in love. To compare, first ultra sound is from 9/30 and the second is from 11/19.
This morning I was having some left sided upper abdominal pain, not a lot, just a bit of discomfort. My coworker did a quick peek for me, kidney and spleen look fine so probably just from baby growing and taking up space. But since she already had the probe out... I got a sneak peek of the munchkin. 18 weeks and moving around like crazy!
AS went perfect today! 19 weeks! I feel like I can finally breathe and calm down a little bit! Also, I put this pic on the back of our Christmas cards with a "Coming soon: May 2020" caption.

Had our AS last week at exactly 19 weeks. This little one was wild so this was the best picture we could get. They also seemed to have licked my placenta which was hilarious to witness
Re: The Ultrasound Thread
Had my NT scan today. 12+1. Everything is looking good and it was so cool to see a baby shaped baby moving all around!
12+2 and everything is looking good!
