Baby girl looked fabulous at today's anatomy scan(19w). She was a bit wiggly so we weren't able to get the best pictures, but it was so nice to see her. Tech said everything looked good and she's measuring 18+5
Shot of our little guy at 20 weeks exactly today. He was very cooperative for the pictures until the end when he had enough and refused to take his hand out of his face.
Our little girl was dancing the whole time and the tech had trouble getting shots that weren't blurry. We have to go back in 4 weeks for a repeat scan. The baby was so busy they want to double check something about the heart (both midwife and OB think it's nothing but a blurry issue) and one kidney was larger than normal (but not at their concern threshold). Not quite what I wanted to hear but everything else looks fine.
Measuring on target and looking good at the u/s yesterday. I won’t be able to go over the details with my midwife until my appt on 1/8, but the tech showed no concern and she was very open about what she was measuring and where the numbers should be.
Two little girls looking good! Right on track at 19+2, weight about 11oz each. Baby B was super active for most of the appointment, rolling all over the place and kicking her sister.
AS today. Good news is everything looks good! but I'm disappointed with how short it was and that this is the best shot we got. Since we may not get any more scans now. She was all curled up with her foot at her face.
Everything looked good at our anatomy scan, I’ve never once thought one of my ultrasound of any of my kids were cute; but I have to admit this little whoville face got me.
Today’s anatomy scan:)They didn’t go over any results with us but it was so fun seeing baby smiling and boxing in there! I feel like the top of the pic looks so lumpy though-is that normal? I don’t want to overthink it!
@kksadie if your doctor didn't worry, that you shouldn't worry. Also if you look at some of the other scans other women have posted you'll see the same thing, it's pretty obvious in the scan directly above yours.
He didn’t want to corporate for profile pictures or the heart (we ended up getting the heart) and the tech said to me “you have a stubborn child” after we tried a bunch of different positions and walking around 😂
From our AS at 20+2 a few weeks ago. Most pictures were a confusing blur because baby girl was moving so much, but here is her face. The white on the left is the placenta.
I got volunteered at work today to get an u/s so one of the techs could show another how to get the heart images that the radiologist wanted. We got to see baby girl dancing around and looking great! The tech that was practicing got a perfect foot shot and decided to print out a pic of her cute little piggies lol
20W1D with our normal looking pregnancy. We got some good profile shots after being poked and pushed to get baby to move. It's such a relief to actually want to keep an US pic now.
Almost passed out at my a/s today, So that was fun. Mostly just sucked how great I felt when I walked in there and then laid down and felt terrible and wasnt really able to enjoy seeing him. Baby boy is measuring great and was in a breech position but tech said not to worry as it's still early.
I had my 20 week scan today. Turns out baby girl is measuring in the 86th percentile and the technician kept calling her “plump”. She’s almost a pound. Is this normal?
@empiracalnarwhal The same thing happened to me today! I had to keep a cold, wet towel on my forehead. I think it's because we lay so close to the US machine and it's so warm. Ugh.
@ellie2020 it was explained to me this way. If you have 100 babies and yours is 86% it means 85 babies would be smaller than yours and 14 would be larger. So on the spectrum anything over than 50% is on the large side and less than 50%!is on the small side.
@ellie2020 I wouldn't worry about the weight, ultrasounds can be great tools, but they can still be off. Example: when I was ku with DS, my ob ordered an u/s at 39 weeks for estimated fetal weight. The tech gave us the 8lbs 2oz. When he was born, almost 3 weeks later, he was 7lbs 12oz.
@ellie2020 I agree with @splashmountain I had an US at 41.5 weeks with DD and was told she was going to be around 8.5 pounds. She was 7lbs5oz when she was born 4 days later. Those aren't totally accurate.
Had our follow up anatomy scan yesterday to get some heart images they couldn’t get last time. For some reason I just think this is the cutest pic they gave us from our scan of her little legs with her ankles crossed

this is the only shot we got with both of them in it, you can't really see A's face that well but her spine is super clear.
