July 2019 FET

Re: July 2019 FET

  • @covergirl2985 sometimes you don’t see much progression if any in 1 day. Test again in a couple days or just wait for beta! I know it’s hard though, I couldn’t stop testing. But I didn’t see progression some days.

    Great betas @nancinator! Congrats!

  • Also @covergirl2985 I’ve heard blue dye tests aren’t as reliable and that pink dye is better for tracking progression.

  • @covergirl2985 don’t worry at all - mine didn’t change that much either, and not at all some days.

@italianmommy8 what a cute idea! Can’t wait to hear how it goes :)

@wifeinraleigh28 right there with you on diarrhea and afternoon fatigue. The more I eat the better I feel so I’m just eating nonstop. Since it’s all coming right out of me I'm not worried about the weight lol. Preggie Pops have really helped to settle my stomach, I highly recommend getting them - I ordered mine from Amazon.
  • Yes just echoing @wifeinraleigh28 I think the pink dye is more sensitive. I used first response early response 3-pack and the next day it was definitely darker.
  • @covergirl2985 and @italianmommy8 congrats on continuing to see good lines on you tests!
    @nancinator that's a great second beta!

@akak23 what are peggie pops? My nausea has hit full force the last 3 days and half the day I just feel horrible. I also teach English online first thing in the morning and its brutal! I threw up twice yesterday in between classes. I tried dry salty crackers today and it helped but still not loads.
  • Preggie pops are basically just lollipops. I find that drinking lemonade or ginger ale helps me best when I feel nauseous. And yes making sure my stomach doesn’t get too empty!

  • I’m so bad! Normally my husband and I take pregnancy tests together after FET and we’ve been pregnant twice prior to this as you know my history. Before going to dinner tonight he asks me if I feel anything and if I tested yet and I said no it’s too early and I don’t want to be disappointed. I got his present all together to give him at dinner tonight - he is going to be SO shocked and surprised!

As you can see I took more tests today too!

I am SO excited to tell him! I am also SO excited to show you guys the gift I made him to tell him! Heading to dinner....!

this is the most fun transfer group. So excited for all you ladies!  Wanted to chime in on the morning sickness. In addition to the preggie pops. I used sparkling mama elixer is a little packet of stuff you add it to a bottle of water. Sea bands help with the sickness in the car or really anytime and also pink stork magnesium spray also helped me. Sending good vibes to all of you for healthy and wonderful pregnancies and babies ❤️

I was shocked to get the Pregnant on the digital as it’s 50miu. I feel relieved now I know my beta on Sunday at 9dpt it will be above 50 since it is now.

below are my pics from April when I was pregnant with my baby boy.

  • I used prego pops all the time when I was pregnant with my daughter 9 years ago. I was never sick with my son.

  • Wow that’s a great number @mrsjones91716 congrats!
  • @mrsjones91716 congrats that's a great beta.

Ladies, I'm freaking out. I had some light brown spotting or discharge this morning and when I wipe. I looked it up online and everything I read said it was fine but when I told my Dr. He said brown isnt normal or expected and asked if I have pain. I have no pain and it's very minimal almost discharge. I feel super stressed now. My next scan isnt supposed to be for 1.5 weeks.
  • Lurker***
@acac25 spotting is very normal in early pregnancy, especially if you are doing progesterone suppositories or had sex or just because. If it is bright red, clots and or you have cramping and pain then that is not normal. brown is old blood. I have spotted/bled in 3 of 4 pregnancies. I know how scary it is. Shame on your doctor for making you more worried. If he was truly concerned he should have you come in for a check.

  • @wabash15 thank you for your reply. I am feeling a little better. Everything you said is what I read online too. Dh and I DTD the night before last and I am on the suppositories too. My doctor replied an hour ago telling me not to worry and that red blood and pain is what would be worrying and to let him know if the spotting continues through to Monday. I wish hed just said that when he originally messaged me! I worried unnecessarily for hours!

The good thing is the spotting is now slightly discoloured discharge. So I'm hoping that is a good sign. But now on a sex hiatus just to be safe.
  • @mrsjones91716 Congrats on the beta!!!

@ACAC25 That’s pretty lame that your doctor got you all worried like that. Spotting is normal in pregnancy and most women experience it. Especially brown color. I’m glad you’re feeling better now!

  • @ACAC25 I had spotting two different times and my nurse said she would have been surprised if I didn’t. That 95% of her patients that are on suppositories and the PIO shot have spotting. Our bodies are just under so much. I totally understand the concern but you’re going to be ok :)
  • @wifeinraleigh28 @akak23 thank you! I do feel better now. I had thought the same thing that minimal brownish blood was normal.
@akak23 thank you, it makes me feel better knowing it's also happened to you.
I'm trying to stay as calm as possible but im so terrified of something going wrong because I'm still so early. I'm 7 weeks today. I have my next scan at 8w 3d and we go on vacation the day after for a beach vacation for our 5th wedding anniversary. I'm hoping that'll help keep me calm. Just gotta get through the next week!
  • I am now 9dpt (4 wks) and have tested using ClinicalGuard HCG strips that came with ovulation strips. The positive line is barely visible the last few days. I am away for a wedding and haven’t picked up any additional Clear Blue tests...Beta on Monday, but I am so nervous that something is wrong now. Boobs aren’t as sore, still tired, acne popping up. Wish there was another test I could do to make sure everything is still going strong.

  • @covergirl2985 HPTs really don't provide that much information sadly. All you can really go off is beta. I hope you're able to relax a bit until Monday. I know it's hard and I struggle with the anxiety too but I try to just remind myself that this is completely outside my realm of control, and whatever is going to happen will happen whether I worry about it or not. Will be thinking of you and hoping for a strong beta on Monday!

I went for my first beta today and it was 110!! Today I am officially 4 weeks - 9dpt!

My pregnancy (genetically normal boy that was misdiagnosed ectopic in April first beta was 53). This is the highest first beta for me!

I go back on Tuesday for a second beta! I pray and hope it doubles!!!
  • can we make a list of everyone’s betas and due dates?
  • Congrats @italianmommy8! That's a great first beta!!

I'm happy to create a google spreadsheet to keep track of everyone! If you want to please post your transfer date, beta date, what each beta number was, and your EDD I can do it.

    My transfer date was 7/18, beta date was 7/29. Beta #1 (11dpt) = 234.8, beta #2 (13dpt) = 426.8, beta #3 (15dpt) = 1,017. EDD 4/4/20.

  • Quick update
Our 7w2d US was good, normal, heartbeat around 140. I still can’t bring myself to really think this is real... RE is pushing me to make apt with OBGYN, but I haven’t yet. Last pregnancy we had a great 7w2d US, then found out it was mmc at the 9w6d US. Even though I know chances are excellent, it still feels like history will repeat itself.

  • @italianmommy8 congratulations! That's s great beta!
@LauraJon2015 that's great! I'm happy that everything looks good. I know how you feel though. I'm struggling too!

    My transfer day was July 11th, beta 1 July 20th (9dpt) 464, beta 2 july 25th 2470.
Expecting triplets so I dont really have an estimated due date. They could come anywhere from 32-35 weeks. Full term is 35 weeks which would be Feb 22nd.

Congrats on your first beta @italianmommy8

@wifeinraleigh28  thanks for creating a spreadsheet - it’s so fun to see how everyone is doing! Maybe add on columns for first US too? I think if you do a google spreadsheet then we can all update our numbers too. Hopefully sharing all of our details will help future FET groups have more information. :)

    transfer: 7/10, first beta 7/19 95, second beta 7/21 285. First US heartbeat at 119 on 8/2.
  • Here's our spreadsheet! You can add/update your own info. @akak23 I didn't have your EDD or # of embryos transferred so either let me know here or just add your info! :)

Everyone else, feel free to give me your info here or just follow the link below and add yourselves! I've always liked using these spreadsheets to keep track. I hope we all stay in touch throughout our pregnancies!

    thank you @acac104
thank you @wifeinraleigh28 my info is below:
Transfer was 8/2 it was a day 6 4/5BC tested (we chose the gender) and my first beta was today 8/11 at 9dpt it was 110. I go back on Tuesday for my second beta. I had my first faint positive on Tuesday 8/6 at 4dpt.
  • My due date is 4/19 but will be 39 weeks or prior due to being high risk and will have csection at 39 weeks if I don’t have the baby prior from preterm labor
  • I went back through the thread and grabbed all the info I could but I’m still missing some pieces. Ladies feel free to fill in the gaps!

@italianmommy8 I was induced at 39 weeks last time because of being high risk (I have lupus). Induction failed and I ended up with a C section. This time I’ll be going straight for the C at 39 weeks as well.

@covergirl2985 and @mrsjones91716 good luck on your betas tomorrow! FX for strong numbers!!!

  • Loving all the awesome news!!!I am curious how many transfers did you have before your BFP this time.I think most of us are just having one baby.I am 34 my DH 36,we had 3 total transfers before it was a success.First fresh transfer we lost early,First Frozen transfer was a BFN and now our 2nd Frozen transfer worked and I am 7w3d,DD March 27,2020(my dads birthdate).
  • @bv8952, this is my 3rd transfer as well, 1st fresh my 1st beta 9dpt was 5.76 so I don't even know what to call that? Maybe it was still HCG in my system from trigger? 1st frozen was a total fail, and now here we are with the 3rd working so far.

Thanks for the spreadsheet! I added my exact beta from my portal just to be precise haha and I put in the first ultrasound date they gave me if I make it that far. Go for second beta any minute now, super nervous ugh.  I did get a nice dark line on an amazon cheapie last night, still not a dye-stealer but darker than I've had.
@covergirl2985, mine sometimes look lighter after I have had a bunch of water so I have stopped testing right after work because that is when they are light.  I wait until right before bed and they are darker then. Fingers crossed for you today!!

  • My blood results from yesterday were
    hcg beta - 110.1
    progesterone - 22.13
    estrogen - 314.6

doesn’t the progesterone seem low? My other cycles they were above 60.
  • @italianmommy8 your progesterone is fine. Anything over 10 is normal.

@bv8952 My first transfer was successful in 2016 and resulted in my daughter. 2nd this past April was a BFN. And now my 3rd transfer has worked so far. I do feel like I got super lucky on that first FET as I know it takes a lot of people multiple tries to get their first take home baby.

Excited to hear your beta results today @mrsjones91716 and @covergirl2985! Don't worry about the dye stealing. That doesn't happen until you're pretty far along and in my experience the Amazon cheapies don't even really work that way. Seems only FRERs really do that but I could be wrong.
