Good luck @wifeinraleigh28! Can’t wait to hear how your appointment goes!

@nancinator lol thank you so much!

• I started my PIO shots yesterday morning. I took my 2mg of Estrace in the morning, PIO shot and started deoxycycline. Afternoon 2mg of Estrace. Last night started Medrol, Estrace 2mg and deoxycycline.
I’m on deoxycycline twice a day for 4 days and Medrol at night for 4 days starting yesterday. Never been on Medrol before.
My last monitoring was last Wednesday. Lining was over 8 and everything looking good. I’m on schedule for transfer this Friday! I go back for monitoring this Thursday morning. I feel like it’s weird I haven’t had monitoring in 8 days last Wed to this Thursday. Only a day before transfer.

I‘m so happy to see such great results on here!
• @italianmommy8 Thank you! Yay I'm so excited that your transfer is so soon! I wouldn't worry about the monitoring. I only had appointments a week apart and my last monitoring before FET was a week before the FET. That's how all my FETs have been. It sounds like everything is looking really good for you!

@bv8952 your first US will be here in no time! Can’t wait to hear great results. They won’t do mine until 6 weeks 3 days, you’re lucky lol ;)
• Anyone have sheer exhaustion from PIO? My last clinic I did them at bedtime but they told me I have to do it every morning. Can’t stay awake at work today...
• @italianmommy8 the estradiol makes me tired for sure. I take PIO before bed so not sure.

@italianmommy8 yes definitely major fatigue!

I just had pink spotting for the first time, of course I’m feeling nervous about it. Has anyone else had spotting around 5 weeks?
• @akak23 with my last pregnancy I had spotting around 10 weeks. Spotting is extremely normal especially in the 1st tri. It’s heavy bleeding you need to worry about! You can always call your clinic to ease your mind.

Thank you @wifeinraleigh28 I’m trying not to freak!

@nancinator I’m so sorry, I know everything is so scary.
• @nancinator aww how high is your fever? Honestly it really shouldn’t affect anything with your transfer if that’s what you’re worried about!

@wifeinraleigh28 you got this! Totally normal to be nervous, I certainly was too, but you’re pregnant and statistically speaking the numbers will come back good. Sending you positive thoughts, let us know how it goes today!
• Thinking of you for your beta today @wifeinraleigh28
• Sex before transfer....when should you stop prior to the transfer?
• post transfer....swimming? beach?

I normally get my French fries from McDonald’s after transfer and keel my fluffy warm socks on. I also make sure I drink lots of water. Feeling nervous I need to fly on Monday and Tuesday (3-4 days post transfer). Should husband and I go to the beach on Saturday? I know no ocean. What about swimming at the pool?

• First FET tomorrow at 11a...so excited! I've been doing PIO every 3 days and progesterone suppositories 3x/day (gross!!!!)
Is sex ok tonight? Any post transfer tips?

Hello I had my first ultrasound today at 5 weeks and 5 days. There was one little bean right where it should be.I will go back next Tuesday at 6 weeks and 4 days to hear the heartbeat.
• bv8952bv8952 member
I would ask your doctor about sex and swimming.Everyone is different. My doctor said wait a few days after the Frozen Transfer to have sex but didn't ask about before. This time around I had sex the night before the transfer and after I got a BFP on my home test at 11 days after was my first time again. With all the extra hormones it is sometimes hard to wait.
• Good luck on your transfer tomorrow @covergirl2985
• Congrats @bv8952!!!!! Did you choose the gender?
• For those of you who got BFPs did you rest a lot after transfer that day and days after or do normal activities? Any of you go swimming a day or two after transfer?
• Beta result in spoiler...
I’m a bundle of nerves. On Monday at 11dpt my hcg was 234. Today at 13dpt it’s 426. So it didn’t quite double. The nurse said it’s a good rise and within range but I’m freaked out and going back for another draw on Friday. Last pregnancy my hcg way more than doubled in 2 days. Any kind/hopeful words are appreciated. I’m going to be in beta limbo for the next 2 days. 😭
• @italianmommy8, we had sex up until the night before because my clinic says not to for so long after.  I should have asked if we could do it in the morning before (transfer wasn't until 12:30) because honestly that would have been more stress relieving than the stressful time I had trying to work that morning but they didn't even want me to use vaginal estrace the morning of transfer so I figured better not have anything in there. And yes, PIO makes me so tired.  My clinic has switched protocols this time to morning also (in April I did them in evening) and every morning I wake up the first thing I say is I'm so tired!

@bv8952 congrats on the ultrasound! Exciting!

@covergirl2985 FX for you for tomorrow! Sticky vibes!

@italianmommy8 I rested the day of and after. My clinic just recommends resting the day of and going back to normal activity the next day but I figured it couldn't hurt. They also say to abstain from sex for 1 week following FET.

@mrsjones91716 Did you have your transfer? How'd everything go?

I called my clinic and talked to a nurse again because I just can't wrap my head around the fact that my beta didn't more than double like it did last time. She said that a rise of even 50% in 48 hours is considered good. I just can't help worrying. I was hoping for a nice strong number today so that I could relax and feel positive for the next 2 weeks while I wait for my ultrasound. Praying for a strong number on Friday and peace until then.

• @wifeinraleigh28 i’m sorry to hear about your beta. Some reassurance is that it did increase more than 67%. Your increase was about 82% which I think is really good even though it didn’t double. My last pregnancy that they misdiagnosed ectopic didn’t fully double but it was a healthy pregnancy. Try to stay positive and try not to put much into the numbers!
• @mrsjones91716 that is so interesting that we both used to do PIO in the evenings and now both told to do them in the mornings!
• akak23akak23 member
@wifeinraleigh28 when I did my betas the nurse said they like to see a 55-65% increase and without me asking she went on to say “I don’t know why people say it should double, that’s not true.” Soooo you are GOOD!

@bv8952 how fun seeing your little bean on the US!

@italianmommy8 I’m not sure about sex before, but as far as sex after they told me to wait 2 days. Also they told me to return to normal activities the next day, but I chose to lay super low for 48 hours after FET. Just a personal choice.

@covergirl2985 how exciting! I’m sure it will go great, keep us posted.
• @italianmommy8 at my clinic they are very emphatic that you do not need to rest after the transfer. They specifically said bathing is fine (just make sure not too hot), so I can’t imagine it’d be different with swimming. They also told me they want you to abstain from sex to be sure you don’t accidentally make a second embryo the old fashioned way, because they don’t want you to end up with twins if that wasn’t your plan.

@wifeinraleigh28 they say beta should double in 3 days, so your definitely on track for that. But I kept taking betas because I was scared and they made me feel more informed. It’s very reasonable to be scared this early on, even though I know you’re embryo is doing fine :)
• Thank you ladies for the reassurance. I’m definitely feeling more relaxed about it. Nothing I can do anyway, you know? Just keeping hopeful for a good beta tomorrow.

GL today @covergirl2985!

• Hi..Enjoying being in my happy pregnant bubble.I don't know the gender. But it is my 1st so happy with either one.I know it is early but I am use to bad news so trying to not get to excited. After my transfer I had a few days off which I have never done in past.I always went right back to work.I didnt just sit around though I went about my normal life.I hope everyone is feeling positive.Try not to over think it.You can only so much.
• @italianmommy8 yes I asked my clinic about it and they said all the doctors in the clinic decided to standardize to that so that you get 6 days of progesterone before transfer instead of 5. I'm not sure how I feel about that but I just did what they said.

• I took another HPT today because I’m a crazy person and the test line is finally darker than the control line. This gives me hope that my beta is rising appropriately! Still anxious about tomorrow though.

@mrsjones91716 I started testing on 5dpt and got a bfp but not everyone does that early. Usually it does show up by 6 or 7dpt though. Fingers crossed for you!!!

@bv8952 yes! Enjoy that pregnant bubble! I know what you mean though about being fearful of bad news. I think all of us here on this board are used to that. This is your time though I know it!

@covergirl2985 thinking of you and hoping all went well and that you’re PUPO!

I had monitoring this morning. Blood work and ultrasound!

lining was a 9!!!!!! 😃 best it’s been in the past is 8. So thrilled about that! Type 1

estrogen today was 290.0
progesterone today was 26.03

last night was my last dose of deoxycline and Medrol, I left a pee specimen this morning because I’ve been getting up to pee 6-10 times a night the past 3 days. They started me on macrobid antibiotics today to rake for a week.

i go tomorrow at 12:45 for the transfer! The transfer will be an hour later at 1:45. First time at the new clinic and hoping this works!

Thanks for all the support everyone!
