@wifeinraleigh28 I'm lurking again and excited for your updates! I hope this may be a reassurance for you, but with my son my beta didn't quite double in 48 hours either. It was almost there, but not true double or more that we hope to see. I was nervous as well. And this time around my initial beta was so low, lower than the "normal" 50 and above we read doctors like to see, that I was even more freaked out. I know it's so hard keep calm, so I totally understand you being nervous until tomorrow. All I can say is, there are so many varying results out there that I'm sure if something was really off, the doctors would speak up. I'll be keeping you in my thoughts tomorrow for a nice strong rise!

Thank you @Tulips29! I've definitely learned more about HCG levels in the last day and a half than I ever knew (and I thought I knew about them)! All my research says my rise is normal, so I'm choosing to believe that. Still going tomorrow for another draw since I already made the appointment, but I'm much more relaxed about it today! I can't believe I was so misinformed before.

Question for you all... if I transferred a day 5 blast, is it safe to test 6 days after or better to wait 7? I’m going to be in a bad mood if it’s not positive and have to socialize tomorrow so maybe I should wait until Sunday or perhaps do it Saturday night?
@nancinator positives usually show up at 6dpt though they can take until 7dpt or even until beta though it's rare. But in your case in which you know it will put you in a bad mood if it's negative I would wait either way.

Hi Ladies, I have been lurking from the July IVF board. My group has slowly stopped posting over the last 2 weeks and I'm still hoping for support, I'm really hoping you ladies will accept me and let me continue this journey with you here. I have been so happy to see so many BFP's on this board. @nancinator keeping my fingers crossed for you whenever you decide to test. I tested at 8 dpt. @italianmommy8 I have followed your journey and I hope everything went well today with your transfer. Lots of sticky vibes your way.
A bit about me. I did my 3rd round of IVF in July. We have severe MFI and did a sperm donor this round.
My first beta came back at 464 on July 20th (9dpt) and 2nd beta came back 2470 on July 25th (14 dpt). I have been having many different symptoms. I have my first US at 6 weeks 3 days on Tuesday. Praying to see a healthy little bean or two.
@ACAC25 So sorry I abandoned that thread! I am happy that your numbers look great and really hope your first scan goes well. ❤️ What are your most pronounced symptoms so far?
Thank you! No worries @nancinator!! @wabash15 I'm afraid to move over too early tbh! But I will pretty soon. @nancinator my main symptoms are extreme tiredness even if I get 8-10hours of sleep. I'm hungry every 2-3hrs and dont want very sweet things, my boobs hurt all the time and nausea just started today.
@ACAC25 welcome! So glad you joined this board too
I’m one day ahead of you, transferred on the 19th and first US on the 5th. Look forward to hearing how yours goes!
Welcome @ACAC25! Those are good beta numbers. I’m glad you joined our board. I got really close with my September (2016) FET group and a lot of us still talk to this day in a FB group so these boards are super special to me and can be a great source of support! GL at your upcoming ultrasound!

Thank you ladies for being so accepting of me joining in with you. I appreciate it! I've found these boards to be an amazing source of support, advice and information. And I really appreciate you continuing to be there as a support system. @akak23 that's awesome! How far along will you be for the US on 5th? We transferred 3 embryos on 11th July. I'll be 6w3d on 6th for mine. @wifeinraleigh28 thank you. I love these boards too!
I had my first FET on 8/1. We transferred a 5 day and a 6 day blast....when can I test? Due to the weekend, they scheduled me for my beta on 8/12, but I’d love to POAS before that...also, I am sooooo tired. I slept for 12 hours last night and can already feel myself wanting a nap. And I’m craving all the carbs!
@covergirl2985 I POAS at 5dpt with a 5 day embryo and got a BFN. Tested again on day 6 and got a BFP. So I say wait as long as you can so you don’t get a false negative for no reason. FX!
@covergirl2985 congrats!!! I got a very faint positive on 5dpt but not everyone gets a positive that early. Just know if you test on 5dpt or even 6dpt it might not show up yet. Fingers crossed!!!
Hey everyone thanks for checking in on me. Transfer was very different at this clinic than my last and I was surprised my husband couldn’t be in room with me and it was done in an OR with surgical clothes and hat. I got the McDonalds afterwards and went home and laid on the couch and watched shark week. Finally got off the couch this afternoon and we went to get Panera Bread, went to get a gift for baby naming next Sunday and to the mall for 2 hours. I’m back on the couch laying down watching lifetime and shark week relaxing. I didn’t feel good earlier very hot sweaty. Thought I had a temperature. Peeing every 5-10 minutes literally. Started macrobid for UTI on Friday.
didn’t think I would test until tomorrow (7 days post) but I woke up this morning and literally went straight to the bathroom, ripped open a test, and just had to know. Lol so luckily a line came up immediately and I got a BFP! Ahhhh!
@italianmommy8 tbh I didnt know they did it any other way. Each of my transfers have been in an OR with hubby waiting in the recovery room. @nancinator Congratulations!! That's awesome news!!
Hi..Each of my Transfer were also in the OR but your partner is also allowed in.The doctor,ER and assistant is also there.I am on vacation with my husbands family and at dinner last night my father in law asked if I am having a baby, was caught off guard since we didnt give exact dates this time. But I said I was waiting on a few tests because I want to wait at least 4 more weeks to tell everyone because alot can happen till then.Me and my husband are happy to have this all to ourselves.Looking forward to more good news from everyone. This group has helped me alot over the past 6 weeks. My other transfers I just read the posts but never posted myself.
@italianmommy8 if they say it’s normal I would trust them. My progesterone and estrogen are only checked a week before transfer and then again at beta and they don’t even tell me what they are. Only that they’re normal.

We had such a busy weekend that I didn't end up testing until the evening of 5dpt because I didn't want to ruin all our plans if it was negative and guys, last night I saw my first ever positive pregnancy test in my life!!! I honestly could not believe it and when I went to tell my husband he was like shut up! Lol he said he was just sitting there waiting for me to come in crying because it was negative again.
