@b_1029 My mom just gave me the microwave my grandma bought when my mom was a teenager. It still works and is super retro (since it's original). I grew up using it and it's finally mine again! It also weighs like 50lbs.
@tyrion_ I don't think Wizards Unite has been brought up yet, but do tell! A friend of mine just posted something on facebook about it but I don't know what it is. And I'm too lazy to google right now.
@b_1029 That's awesome that the necklace has been found! @shamrocandroll I'm so sorry about the fridge, and that this has been quite a sh*t week for you!
@tyrion_ I am a Wizard! I still feel like I have little clue what I am doing on there lol. PM me if you want to be “Friends” haha. I prefer the Harry Potter universe to Pokémon, but I like Pokémon Go better... So I am torn!
@tyrion_ Haary Potter fan here too but I have no idea what you're talking about and only vaguely know about Pokémon Go. How do you play? Can we all be friends? (lol)
@emeraldduchess as promised, going to try to add my picture of Gnome #1, now to be known as Claudius. I’ll start working on Gnome #2 tonight!

Thanks everyone! I really can’t believe the necklace was found, it gives me chills. Since I’m always looking for “signs” that this is the cycle, I’m now firmly cemented that THIS will be the cycle because the necklace has returned (and I want to name our daughter after my grandma), I’m on vacation, and saw a sea turtle yesterday. All of those things make so much sense....🤪
@jennifer_louise I just started so I don’t know the full details yet. But you cast spells to free creatures from dark magic and forces and collect stuff. It’s so silly but I’m enjoying it. If you do it I’ll be your friend!
@silly_goose Oh, definitely. I'm a reliability engineer, and we calculate lots of product life based on warranty period. Plus everything is getting cost reduced nowadays, which means cheaper materials that don't last as long.

Sometimes I feel like we should have a "Weird Things My SO Says" or "S&*! People Say About TTC" thread. Today's gem from my DH: "Why can't they just check my sperm count with a blood test?" *facepalm* In his defense, I told him that's how they check my egg count and he clearly didn't think that one through before he said it.
So glad you round the necklace @b_1029. I hope it's good luck! ...now if my other special earring would just show up that went missing the other day... :( you know, just the ones I wore on my wedding day.
They were not expensive, but they looked so simple and elegant, and I have had them for so long I cant remember when my mother gave them to me. Really hoping we find it in the couch or in some crevice cleaning up the bathroom or something soon... Sigh

@inthewoods23 that brings me to the question of why the hell do they always use BLUE dye test in movies and tv shows? I found myself yelling at a Netflix character recently. "Honey, NO! You NEVER use a blue dye test, those things are GARBAGE!"
@emeraldduchess After falling for the blue dye test fake out this week, I have told all of my friends not to ever buy those things. I think I will similarly yell when I see people using them on TV.
My best friend is visiting from out of town. She mentioned she’s TTC and I busted out my TTC kit with my OPKs, HPTs, BBT, and notebook. I think I scared her.
Seriously though why do people have to be so normal? I once recommended reading TCOYF to a friend when she was TTC and she laughed like it was ridiculous to read a book just to conceive (although that book is useful for a lot more than that).

@tyrion_@silly_goose Pretty sure I freaked out my friend the other day. We were talking about my PCOS and other people’s struggles and she seemed shocked by all the things I’ve learned, because she didn’t understamd temping or why I knew when I O’d. Apparently some people think it’s just about having sex. I wish I was one of those people, honestly.
@mercury94 I think a big part of people's ignorance is how most of us were taught about sex in middle/high school. Like pregnancy was lurking around every corner.
