How are you feeling?

I’m at 5w2d now and have been very anxious - my last pregnancy was a blighted ovum :(

What symptoms do you guys feel at 5w?

I find these weeks soooo long!!! 🙈

Re: How are you feeling?

  • I'm 5 weeks 4 days and get sleepy during the day and have tinder breasts. I'm also nervous- lost my daughter at 15 weeks and 4 days last October.
I just keep praying for baby to keep growing!

  • Awww my husband and I really grieved for our blighted ovum and it didn’t even have a heartbeat… I can’t imagine how it was like to lose her at 15w!!
I find myself also sleeping more. I nap during lunch and also right when I come home from work… but I don’t know if I’m really tired cuz I read in some forums that pregnancy tiredness is “through the bone tiredness” which I don’t think describes mine.. I feel like I also sleep more because I’m so anxious and can’t stop worrying and hoping that my little one has a heartbeat and is growing well
  • My pregnancy sense of smell has returned, my boobs are slightly sensitive, and I’m constantly either guzzling water or peeing. 😂 just hoping baby keep growing! I’m still taking cheapie tests (because I have them and might as well use them) and it’s reassuring to see the lines get darker.
  • Today I'm trying to stay positive- symptoms are not really increasing, I'm 6 weeks 1 day. Still just peeing more, tender breast's and tired early.
  • I was in a complete fog for 4 months after. I feel much more present now and hope for the future. It's a long road uphill!

@allaboard with my son, I had no symptoms at all during the first trimester other than slightly tender boobs/nipples.

ETA I was also very thirsty, but I never had any morning sickness or anything.
  • I’m at 6w0d now and I find that my breast tenderness has been less.. no other symptoms apart from that. Is that ok? Anyone experience the same thing? I thought symptoms should get worse on week 6

Symptoms won't necessarily get worse, and even if they do, that doesn't necessarily happen precisely at the start of the week.
  • I am 7 weeks tomorrow, and I’ve been suffering from all day nausea and some vomiting for about 2 weeks now. I’ve been trying to eat different types of foods and drinks to see if anything helps, and nothing does. My first pregnancy was nothing like this. Also beginning to feel more fatigue in the afternoon/evening and breast tenderness as well.

  • Hi everyone—I’m about 4-5 weeks pregnant and I only have period-like cramps so far, nothing else….
  • I'm 8 weeks today. My nausea started in the middle of week 6 and sucked but in the last few days it has eased up a ton. Not sure if that's good or bad. My boobs are still sore
  • Try not to worry as it's normal for symptoms to come and go.
  • Tiiiiired! My 18mo is sicky so he's pretty needy.
  • I just made breakfast and when I went to sit down and eat it seemed disgusting to me
  • That avocado toast looks good to me @moogieks but I've been grossed out by a lot of my favorites this pregnancy.
  • @jaselizabeth exactly. Pregnancy is a wild ride. I tend to make food and then first bite is eww
  • @moogieks I had that experience today. I cooked a few times but couldn't eat it. I'm still hungry.

Hi everyone. I’m 8 weeks pregnant and I have nausea and vomit all day. Has anyone tried anything that’s worked for them?
  • Sea Bands work really well for me, I’ve used them for all of my pregnancies. I know they don’t work for everyone but worth a shot if you haven’t tried them yet. I find them at Walmart, Walgreens, Rite-Aid, and other pharmacies.

I was nauseous and couldn’t eat anything until week 7 (I’m at week 8 tomorrow!). Ginger drops, the hard “candy” like things, really helped. So did drinking more water and trying to eat something small every two hours (while I’m awake). Constant small bites really eased my nausea.
  • In my case, I was able to manage the nausea with protein snacks, plenty of water and ginger chew until I reached almost 8 weeks. I've been prescribed Diclectin and it helped a lot since I started taking it. I can't stand vomiting...
