I had such a good weekend, I'm not ready for Monday yet! 😥 We had gorgeous weather, so we spent most of the weekend enjoying our backyard. I took a couple naps in my hammock while my H smoked a pork roast. I also had my first prenatal massage and it was heavenly. So relaxing! I say "first" because it definitely will not be my last! All in all, it was a successful weekend!
Oh @galentine I definitely spent at least an hour and a half down the rabbit hole due to lurking your TTGP thread. What creepiness, and though we all know creepers are out there, it's still so crazy when you actually come across them. Always best to be erring on the side of safety and just keeping the super personal stuff to yourself or wait until we have a PG. Now that being said, I won't lie and say I wasn't also entertained. There was so much more I could have read and but had to get to bed, lol.

@cooaladolly, agreed, it was so creepy. (For those who didn't see it, a catfish was caught on the Trying to get Pregnant board last week.) It just goes to show you should really be careful with what you post, and cautious about who is let into private groups.
Back from vacation! Took a week off to go to a kids' resort with my family. They make you pay through the nose to take care of your kids but damn they take care of your kids. (Just ignore the slightly creepy hotel clown mascot).
@galentine napping outside is just a whole different level of bliss, isn't it?
My OB-Gyn told me that I'm going to need support socks and a heparin shot before getting on a plane to go to Boston at 29/30 weeks pregnant, same for when we're flying back. Delightful. Now I'm looking on amazon if I can't possibly find compression socks that don't include my toes because I know that will be the worst.
DD1 was pulling on a toy DD2 was playing with and refused to let go, even after repeated requests from my side to do so, so I got loud and yanked it out of her hand. Of course now I feel horrible. All the "just step away and redirect" mantras did diddly squat for me right then. I talked with her afterwards about how I was sorry and how adults should show kids how to use their words instead of getting mad but urgh.
That outdoor weekend sounds sublime too @galentine. I've beenwanting a hammock so bad just for the wonderful napping possibilities! And smoked pork roast. Super yummm!

@galentine I LOVE napping outside. I don’t know the last time I did it but I do know I love it. I’m glad you got to enjoy good weather.
I avoided looking for the creepy post ℓσℓ I’m in private Facebook groups for both my D12 and D14 babies (though she turned into a J15 baby) but it took me personally months to be ok with it. Even after I had talked with those mamas for months on the bump I was so leery of joining a Facebook group. Now I couldn’t imagine my life without them but it took some time for me.
@grapeskittles4lyfe I’m not going to lie...that clown is super freaky ℓσℓ but the obstacle course looks amazing! I wish I could take advantage of kids group things like that. My 4 year old is afraid of everyone and refuses to leave my side 😕 it looks like fun !
I did get some compression socks for traveling off of Amazon as well. We flew to Japan when I was 32 weeks pregnant and I always swell up on international flights. They helped but I had to take them off a couple times because I’d get super hot.

As for my random...I’m regretting my dinner choice from last night. I took my girls to 3 Margaritas for a treat and I’d been craving their crispy chili rellenos...I actually had a hard time sleeping because of it ℓσℓ so much grease and such a heavy meal 🤢 I enjoyed it while I ate it though!

I jumped down that rabbit hole too and was also highly entertained!
@galentine V. jealous of both your hammock and your massage. LOL. Sounds like a perfect weekend!! @grapeskittles4lyfe Okay that place looks amazing and worth every penny!
It's decision time for me, and I've decided to take the CSO job I told you all about a week or so ago. I'm about 75% confident that it's the right decision - I'd rather be more confident, but it is what it is. I have no idea how I'm going to get this thing rolling, transition my current department, and prepare for a baby. But I'm going to try!!
My birthday was Saturday and my team lead that can't stand me left 1/2 a day, so I was in a good mood at work 😂 then I left early yesterday cause my round ligament/right hip was killing and it still hurts!! So today I'm just chilling on the couch with my babies and doing light laundry. SO told me to just relax but I'll feel bad if I do nothing. Yay for 25 😑 I also took a good front facing bump pic 🥰 this baby is growing on cue, unlike my other 2 who were always itty bitty. I just hope this isn't gonna be over 8lbs!!!
@galentine I'm not sure I found the one you were talking bout but I snooped. Crazy people out there 😳
@andromedacorrine2 Happy Birthday! Glad you had a decent one. 25 is basically the last "non decade" milestone when it comes to birthdays, so hopefully you had fun.
I had the most relaxing weekend I’ve had in months. I had cattle and swine shows and only took DD1. I forgot how much easier it was to just take her alone, my other two kiddos stayed with a sitter Saturday and Sunday my DH got back from a business trip and (Monday Confession) while I missed him a lot, things were a bit less stressful without him home too.
@jenferlee82 thank you! My team lead yesterday was like you aren't even a day into 25 and having hip issues! This baby is low lying and pushed back just like my other 2. That probably doesn't help me 😂
I still haven’t cancelled the amazing cruise we booked on our last adventure before we got pregnant. It begins November 2nd so I can solidly say we can’t go unless I start feeling comfortable leaving my 4 week old with someone for a week. Ha. I think I’m just avoiding because I hate thinking of losing our deposit.
So...I have to go bathing suit shopping. I hate bathing suit shopping to begin with. I never liked wearing them and they cost so much money. Now I gotta try and find a maternity one that will fit....
Thank you, ladies! I'm excited, if a bit anxious. LOL
@cass005 I just bought this one from Amazon, and it is pretty awesome. Super flattering and I can tell I'll have plenty of room to grow. Plus it was cheap so if I need to go up a size later in the summer I won't feel too badly about it:
@Cass005 I actually love wearing swimsuits while preg! I hate 1 peice. At least now I don't have to feel even remotely self conscious. I'm rocking my bump!
@jenferlee82 OMG that's super cute! Mine is a little on the big size, and I could probably wear it now, but I don't know if I'll be able to wear it come vacation time in August. I know I def won't be able to wear the shorts lol.
So bummed about Monday too. I had a pretty good weekend. Saw two plays and the only stressful part was that I forgot the tickets and almost didn't make it to the second one because we had to drive back and get them. Baby kept me up at night dancing around and songs from the play we're going through my head. I'm definitely with that baby in the meme. I am counting down so hard...
@jenferlee82 congratulations on accepting the job!!! And thank you for the bathing suit suggestion, I just bought one for our company beach trip this weekend.
@jenferlee82 ccongratulations! I'm positive you'll find your groove and rock that position with pure confidence in time. The bathing suit you got is adorable and great price!
@andromedacorrine2 Happy belated Birthday! Sorry you're in pain, definitely try to take it a little easy today.
@Cass005 that's another super cute suit! Like @prpl11butterfly said, go ahead and rock that bump. You earned it!

Those of you bummed about a Monday, this is where I go “just you wait!” Mondays are my favorite day- the kids go back to school and I have silence in my car 😂

This is true, I do take a sigh of relief when I get to work lol. However, it would be SUPER awesome if after dropping off the kid(s) we could just go home and ignore Monday

That is adorable! Love that color too. I got these maternity swim shorts in case you need a substitute for the boy shorts. I'm worried about my "grooming" abilities later on so figured shorts would be good as backup.
Ooh, man. I missed the chatter over the weekend, bit am kind of excited to dive into the drama... Congrats @jenferlee82 ! I always find it relieving to finally make a big decision like that, and I'm sure you'll do great! I need to do laundry and vacuum so we can be ready to leave for a long trip on Wednesday, but instead I read a murder mystery all morning and am now lounging and digesting lunch. I'll get to it...
@jenferlee82 Congratulations on making that decision! And I dread swimsuit season - no matter what size I've been in my life - but I actually love that suit you bought. I think my husband will love that "I" found one too, because he has been wanting to go swimming.
My husband and some of his extended family go to Branson each year for a few days and the trip was this past weekend. I can't say it was a blast (because I'm a bit more introverted, so I wear out from socialization pretty quickly), but I had a lot of fun! His cousin - who just graduated high school - had her almost seven-month-old baby with her and everyone was gushing over her. That made me feel great knowing how much they all love kids and are willing to jump in and help, even when not asked.
On Friday night we were at Silver Dollar City watching a cover band. While they were singing Sweet Child o' Mine, I took my husband's hand and showed him the hard spot on my stomach and told him that was the baby.
His eyes lit up. It was so sweet! I honestly didn't connect to what song it was and the correlation, but immediately after I was like, "Listen to the song. This is going to be the baby's song!" 😊 He loves that.
Overall, I'm pretty happy and trying to find the happy in the small things.
@galentine I dug in, and that is pretty nuts. I ended up in a June 14 board thread where they were calling her out about all this stuff, and I ran across the SN of a mom from my S16 board. She confirmed: that girl is nuts.
@meagan-t my husband gets cute with that stuff too. We were watching grease on Sunday and there is a part where Sandy is wearing a nightgown and holding a stuffed panda and he was imagining our baby with his favorite stuffie and getting emotional.
@jenferlee82 we bought practically the same suit. Same style/brand except the halter straps are thicker and have a bow on back and clinch between breast.
Just found out (from a coworker) that there was a huge database breach at the local lab where all my and DHs RPL testing was done. They got personal info including payment details and socials. But luckily our lab results were not exposed 👍🙄
@prpl11butterfly That sucks. We just got a similar notification from the college DH and I went to. "We're not exactly sure what they got, or from what students or alumni, or how long they had access. But, it's probably not your grades!" Cool... Thanks. Next time just share out my GPA.
@prpl11butterfly I just heard about a lab data breach (my friend is a CIO that does work with them). That's awful, the security issues these days are terrifying.
@steminist omg. Why do they think these things that didn't get out are more relieving then the things that did?! I tell everyone my lab results anyway but I sure as hell don't go around dishing out my ssn or cc#s.
