@galentine haha I 100% relate! I have not yet switched to maternity and tried to wear a work dress yesterday that is normally pretty loose on me. It felt ok at home but then all day at work I could NOT breathe. All I could think was - I've made a huge mistake!
It’s not maternity but it’s super flowy and my bump is barley visible in it at this point. Just thought I’d share bc I just spent wayyy too much to buy maternity dresses to get me thru the summer
I have a couple pairs of full front panel pants and they are so comfy! Although the most comfortable thing for me right now are dresses. Nothing clinging anywhere, just nice and loose. 😂
I bought a whole wardrobe of maternity clothes off my babysitter and I adore most of the pants! I've been wearing them since I got them 😂 I drug my summer dresses out of the closet to wear round the house and I'm definitely comfy lol Walmart has some cute maternity tops online too!

I second this - I LOOOOOVE my maternity pants. I'm also all about the dresses right now, especially as it heats up outside.
I have also fully embraced the maternity pants and find them so much more comfortable. I didn’t even break out my belly band once this pregnancy! I am a little sad that many of my dresses are getting tight though. I will need to buy a few more to get me through the summer but don’t want to spend a lot.
I really want to love them. But I'm a pear and I always feel like the waist is too loose in the size that fits my legs. I've tried all the kinds but I really just prefer normal pants with stretch 🤷♀️ Or leggings. Leggings are nice.
Thank you everyone 💜 Brody is still with us, but they are currently talking with docs about next steps and making final decisions. If you would like to join us, we are lighting candles for him around the world tonight 💜
@ineedsixeggs I like the side panel ones so much better then the full on elastic waist. But I always have the same issue as you with Jean's. My thighs and calves are a size bigger then my waist. It's super annoying.
@nnaelilak candles will be lit in my house tonight. I'm sorry your friend has to experience this.
@marbellie late to respond but how funny!! We went to Wards Berry Farm in Sharon. I haven’t tried Richardson’s but there is a great farm in Lincoln that we love!
Oh my goodness all this talk about contributing enough makes me anxious!! I think I definitely don’t but I’m trying.
Also, count me in the maternity pants LOVE camp. I’ve been in them forever already this pregnancy— they are definitely hit or miss by brand though!! I HATE all of the ones I’ve tried from Old Navy but love the Isabel something line at Target!
You guys, I swear my boobs are doubling in size every couple of days lately! This is really weird for me too, because I have NO boobs. Never have. Like, I could fit in most training bras pre-pregnancy. Hahaha
I just had to order another size up in bras because the ones I bought when they first grew are now too small. I know this is only temporary, but as a woman who has always had nothing to show there, I'm really enjoying it for now!
@jenferlee82 I’m in the same boat— usually team no boobs!! But they grow so much during pregnancy for me, and honestly, I really don’t like the way I look with big boobs!
@SLou24 So far I love how it looks, but I could definitely see feeling differently if they keep growing. I'm pretty sure DH is in awe at the moment, though he's been careful not to say tooooo much since he knows we'll be back to my flat chest eventually. LOL
@melanier26 Count me in for needing to "work out" or at least move a bit more during the work day. I always use the excuse that I'm busy during the day, but the truth is I'm just so darn lazy...
Also, hoping I'm being active enough to stay with you ladies! I feel so insecure saying that but I hope you won't judge me too harshly. I lurk sometimes more than I post and love tit.
AFM, sharing about my MDW, we finally had my twin sister's bridal shower on Saturday and I did WAYYYY too much myself that I was exhausted. But it turned out so pretty (if I do say so myself) and my sister was beyond happy, which was my goal. See pictures in spoiler plus get ready for a super long detail (because I worked so darn hard!!). The theme was tea party, so I got a white ceramic tea pot for guests to sign for her to keep as a memento/guest book. We had water, lemonade, passion tea and white wine sangria to drink. For food, I made a bistro salad (spinach + field greens, fuji apples, bacon, feta cheese, dried cranberries, almonds and poppyseed dressing... it was AMAZING), scones with devonshire cream/lemon curd/strawberry jam, tea sandwiches (egg salad, cucumber & cream cheese, turkey & cheddar and chicken salad), mini quiches, fruit & veggie platters, and french macarons and mini desserts (from Trader Joe's).
I could tell my sister was in a great mood because during the shower, she was asking about "her niece" (she has been really not wanting to ask about this pregnancy) and started inquiring about my baby shower, to which I told her that I wasn't sure yet, that one of my friends had maybe talked with DH and my ILs about hosting... and my sister did not like that. Ugh, she can't make anything easy.

@sammygirl18 I have the Target ones. I feel like the jeans fit better then the black. But I also haven't worn the jeans for an extended period of time yet.
Guys, I'm falling alseep at my desk. Last night was so much worse then the previous with DS. I've already lost an hour of pay today (dentist 1st thing this AM) but I'm seriously contemplating leaving around 3 to take a nap before the kids get home....
@stephanie123456, I was so happy with your update until I got to the last line. Your sister has to make everything so difficult, GAHHH. I'm glad the bridal shower went well though! I hope you have some free time this weekend to recuperate.
@stephanie123456 That shower looks absolutely amazing! I love everything about it and you can tell you put so much care and thought into it. Your sister is very lucky to have you!
@prpl11butterfly, oh no! Your poor DS, I hope he is on the mend soon. I vote you leave early and take that nap. I am a believer in the emotional "fill your cup" idea, and your family needs you to have a full cup, even if that means you lose out on an hour or two of pay this afternoon. 💜
I feel bad that so many contributing members of this group are now questioning their place and worrying about whether they are well-known. I feel terrible, and that wasn't at all the intention of my comments. ☹ For what it's worth, I don't think anyone who has questioned themselves in this thread so far should be concerned about their participation.

I find the weekly randoms thread overwhelming and hard to keep up because it moves so damn quickly haha - I guess I consider myself more of a "pregnancy themed" poster or if I can contribute that way. I'm sure that's where a lot of people may fall.
@galentine Speaking for only myself, I was mostly just curious. I felt the same way in my last group, and made sure to get on the FB vetting committee just in case I figure we have plenty of time still to all get to know each other and get more familiar with SNs. The idea of what I think I'm sharing vs. what I actually am sharing has always kind of fascinated me. Like, is my online reputation the same as my in-person one? Same with my work friends vs other friends, though. How many versions of "me" are out there?
@steminist I often wonder the same about myself. Are you guys seeing the "real" me? I feel like I'm pretty legit in all aspects of my life (I mean, once you get past that aquaitence stage and I start to let you in). But I guess that's a mystery for all of us really.
@galentine I'm still at work. The migrane fog has lifted (only took 2 doses of my meds) and while I'm still exhausted I don't feel like I'm on the verge of a narcolepsy diagnosis. Now I just need to decide how to handle DS tonight. Do I give him melatonin or take it myself? Do I just let him sleep in my bed and be over all the drama for sure? Ugh..... so many benefits and downfalls. DH is away for the night so that makes things more tricky.
After talk of butt pillows/cushions in the last couple of weeks, I have been dying to get one, as I'm super uncomfortable at work. Well, I totally forgot to go to Target over the weekend (since I was recuperating after my sister's shower) and now I'm paying the price. I'm so desperate, I took my lumbar pillow (that I don't use and hate) and am sitting on it. Can't say I'm feeling any relief.

@galentine@nnaelilak I should have done Amazon but I really want to have it for tomorrow at work, so I need to go to a physical store tonight. Darn my procrastination.
@meagan-t We only have one Aldi located in our area and it's a b**** to get to. I was actually just there on Friday to get groceries for my sister's shower (since they have awesome prices) but I didn't even think to check.

I also love my maternity pants! The full panel helps smooth my lumps and give me a really cute bump! Lol

for months PP. in fact, I can’t remember when I last wore a pair of non maternity leggings 😬
