This LO has been super low my entire pregnancy. I'm practically convinced she's just going to fall out when the time comes. I've also been having frequent BH for months, which are getting way more noticeable than they ever were with my previous two.
With DS I was an oil slick and had to wash my hair daily + was getting body acne. I don’t think it has anything to do with being a girl or boy, it’s just hormones doing their thing. With this mystery baby I’m as dry as a bone and only wash my hair once a week.
I've also gotten a couple bad Charlie horses... The ones where they feel wicked tight for a couple days. Each time, I've been rolling over from my right side to my left, and my right leg cramps up like crazy. DH sleeps right through my crying and whimpering.
I've been tracking my water intake and exercise with my Fitbit, and it seems that the better I do with being active and staying hydrated at the same time, the less likely I am to cramp up. Of course, it's easier said than done!
My back is just awful. I can move around in like 30min increments. I've spent so much money on various belts and such. My midwife referred me for acupuncture so I start that tomorrow, fingers crossed. Other than that, I just feel massive and uncomfortable and like I'm doing a whole lot of grunting.
I'm a huge, swollen, sore mess these days. Bad heart burn, leaky sore boobs, horrible RLP and sciatica, back spasms, and it feels like this kid is going to legit fall out.
So ready for July!

My veins are always bad during pregnancy and after my second they never really disappeared. I feel like they are popping up in new places all the time! But I also feel like they don't burn or itch as bad this time. Helping hubby mulch the flowerbeds the last two days hasn't helped though lol! I also keep putting off calling the chiropractor (I've actually never been to one) but a friend of a friend recommended one that isn't too expensive. Plus he does pregnant women AND newborns which is something I've always wanted to try!
Ok, so weird pregnancy symptom this go around that I am desperately hoping stays after pregnancy - my body hair is NOT growing. I can go literal months without shaving and have a few hairs at my pits and on my legs, but barely noticeable. I haven't been able to see or reach my bikini area in WEEKS, I normal go bald down there, and at this point it SHOULD be 70s style bush and there is barely any hair.
@mamanbebe my dark circles are definitely darker. I have had luggage under my eyes pretty much my whole life. They just never go away for me, but they are considerably darker now.
@indulgentgypsy Same here. I have had them my entire life, but they look terrible lately. I loaded up on concealer and bronzer this morning to try to look less zombie-like but I have a feeling the circles will still win.
@mamanbebe@indulgentgypsy I use something like this (I can't find my exact one, can't remember the brand) when I want to draw attention away from my circles. Sometimes concealer works, but I found accenting my under lid and the inner corner of my eyes did so much more for me. You can also get the same look with a small makeup brush and a white/nude/soft pink eyeshadow that isn't too chunky, needs some shimmer, I wouldn't do a matte.
@indulgentgypsy me too! I feel like I rarely need to shave my legs during my pregnacies. My underarm hair still grows and I WISH my regular hair would grow too🙄
@mamanbebe@indulgentgypsy@kingdommom I'm so glad you all brought up the slow hair growth thing, I have definitely noticed my leg hair has been like non-existent this pregnancy. I don't remember that being a thing last time, so strange.
@mamanbebe@indulgentgypsy I have had an issue with dark circles too, which makes me either look older and tired all the time... I dab Benefit Erase Paste under my eyes to help. It is sort of a concealer / color corrector and easy to blend even w/out foundation or powder.
I've had these episodes where I've been seeing stars (only way I can describe it) and I assumed it was my GD but apparently that's actually a sign of preeclampsia. Saw my OB today and he took me out of work and I'm on careful watch. I start seeing them and going to l&d for NST every Tuesday and Friday next week anyways so I'll be monitored very closely. This pregnancy has been crazy and while I hope my twins stay put until at least 36 weeks I am so ready for June to get here (scheduled C-section June 24)
I wish i had slow leg hair growth. I haven’t been shaving though so I’m gonna get them waxed in hopes that I don’t have to do it twice before baby is born. I might not care anyway but I run out of breath bending over.
my symptoms are a hair trigger gag reflex after I eat. I hiccuped yesterday and because I’d just been eating, I had to throw up. Not nauseous just hadn’t digested and my bag reflex is out of control. I also have the sore hips problem but the pool really helps.
I am wearing my belly band and knee length vein support hose daily. Love the hose- serious foot and leg relief, don’t care I’m a granny! Been taking an electric massager to my feet, legs, back, neck...especially helps insomnia. Don’t read on your phone when you can’t sleep! Tip I learned the hard way. Also, a pillow nest that elevates your shoulder off the bed is good. This week my left heel decided it should hurt every time I step, so that’s a nice waddle-maker. For constipation, try adding a couple mouthfuls of raw, unsalted almonds to any high carb snack. They are the nuts with the highest protein and fiber (last I checked). They are a staple for me and keep things moving!
Got home last night and my feet were so swollen DH said it looks like my leg didn't stop at my ankles. Thanks, dear. It's weird, I definitely think my right foot is getting a little more swollen than my left each time. Not sure if it's the way I sit? I don't cross my legs (but who could at this point, really?) so not sure what's going on or if I should be concerned.
I really hate this puff feet part. I already have large calves and the thick ankles and wide feet just make me feel like a clown at this short height.
Constipation and hemorrhoids. For the first time. So awful!!
And feet are also starting to swell... which is also a bit new for me. This baby is just making sure I experience every single possible pregnancy symptom to ensure I’m really, really done.

This isn’t even a symptom I don’t think lol. It’s feels like this baby is doing a headstand inside of me, and she’s using my hips to hold her hands and it’s been so uncomfortable.
For the ladies with swollen ankles, compression socks work wonders!!
@kingdommom this could be a pic of me, but it’s behind my knee. When I wear compression socks, it just puts pressure right on the varicose vein. OB said to get compression stockings but who wants to wear those in the summer when it’s hot?! Anything special you do for yours? Mine causes so much pain when I walk.
Panty liners for bladder leaks have become my best friend lately. i have a terrible cold now and whenever I cough I leak and when I puke in the morning I leak. never had this leaking problem in my first 2 pregnancies and I’m not a fan
I think my bladder is about the size of a pen cap at this point. Sometimes I already feel like I have to pee again as I’m walking back to my office from the bathroom.
So interesting about the body hair growth. I’d never heard of that one. Mine’s still growing strong.
Hot, feverish, and ******TMI******* explosive diarrhea this morning probably sick again, but our school day count down is 12 days of school left, and I just cannot take any more time off
TMI warning... I didn’t bother with a panty liner today, and I had so much dishcharge that it soaked through my underwear and onto the pants I was wearing. It was like a middle school period crisis. SIIIIIIIGH. Calm down, vajayjay!
@cindler same here on the emotions... I am constantly on the verge of tears this week lol!
Also charlie horses every night/morning @jenniferjoy37 and @shawnacrest I am planning to ask at my ultrasound next week if they notice anything with my cervix and if not I may ask for a check at my next appt. I've had tons of BH also, including a couple hours the other night where they were coming somewhat frequently. I'd rather be safe than sorry!!
Mine does. I have a small hernia, but that's not really where it hurts. Baby's always pushing up against it, so I'm guessing that's why it's tender. Not really sure, though.
This baby is just making sure I experience every single possible pregnancy symptom to ensure I’m really, really done.
Ditto. So many more symptoms that I never experienced with my other two. Definitely not doing this again.
Also, Baby movements are no longer cute. They are painful and look like an alien is trying to escape from my stomach. Even my husband has been like WTF. 😐😂

Anyone else have insane dark circles under their eyes? I have slept great most of my pregnancy and yet by the afternoon I look straight ghoulish!

Hell, I was done last time around!
