Yep....I was exhausted yesterday and today is worse cause of my stomach bug. We ate at Carrabas' (Italian place in PA) me one friend and I got the same thing and last night we both got sick. This morning she feels better but off, I'm getting tummy rumblings ugh

    I believe it.🙈

Saturday was the 5 year mark from when I got my BFP with DS1

  • We went to see my sister in Austin over the weekend. My husband did some A/C work for them (perks of owning an A/C company) and DS got to hang with his cousins.

Traveling is so exhausting...even though it was only a 3.5 hr drive.

DS will be with the in laws this weekend. They are coming to pick him up and take him to their house a couple hours away.
I'm hoping we can deep clean his room (we are battling fleas and other bugs since the house still isn't complete), get the trim up & then maybe start on baby's room.
I need to paint, DH will lay the floor and we need to finish the closet.

Who am I kidding? I'll probably sit on my butt all weekend being kid free.  :D

  • SO is taking the girls to ballet (DD1 has class and he walks around town with DD2 until class is over) so I am finishing up work and then hightailing it home so I can starfish and nap in bed.
(And possibly eat some uncontested cheetos)

Also I have finally popped beyond my food baby and the cafeteria lady was like DAMN you're pregnant. We're on good terms so I know she didn't mean it in a derogatory way but I've still got so many months to go...

I stayed up too late, too. We started the new Netflix show Dead to Me, and I had to see how it ended! Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a new show. But it was my first time staying up past 11pm in months, and I'm paying for it today!!
  • With you ladies on the exhaustion. I could not fall asleep for the life me and had an early flight this morning. My FitBit tells me I got three hours of sleep. 😩 So. Tired.

  • Also so wiped out. I wasn't even really up late, but man, I'm beat today. We're in the last two real weeks of school and my motivation has dropped to about 5%. I'm here, but I really don't have the drive to try to make my students do anything super productive. My AP kids are self-driven, so they don't really need my help, and my on-level kids are so over being here that it is just a giant stressful fight to try to get them to work, and I usually end up losing anyway. 3 more Mondays!

  • @cmbt2 I take Unisom occasionally, but I didn’t last night because I had to get up so early and was afraid I’d oversleep. So of course I got Sunday night brain and tossed and turned all damn night!

I’m probably the only one who cares, but Prince Harry and Meghan’s baby boy was born this morning! 🇬🇧

I just came to post this!! Rumors have it that she was 8 days overdue, but I’m not convinced based on the size 🙈🙈

  • @Cass005 Ugh I’m sorry to hear that! I forgot you are in PA. Me too!

    @jenferlee82 Three hours? Yikes!

@steminist I just got a few maternity tees from Target and they actually fit. Most I have from my first pregnancy are too big, or maybe just stretched out
  • Cass005Cass005 member
@melanier26 Oh awesome I did not know that! I'm outside of Philly

Yay on Harry and Meghan's baby! I'm so excited for them, I can't wait to see pics though i completely support her decision to not do the pictures a minute after giving birth, like come on guys give a girl some time?

@Steminist same here, I refuse to buy more clothes until absolutely necessary. I just wear sweats alot lol.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who's exhausted. I'm also started to get to that point in the mornings where i wake up and wonder how late I want to be lol. Its much different this time since I have a small child who some times wakes up hating the world.....
  • @Cass005 We’re on the other side of the state!

@cmbt2 yea, no flutters here either. I'm getting full on body slams.....

    Edited  for spelling
  • And now I'm here to report my first lunch time wardrobe change. My dress sleeves were irritating me and then I found a hole on the hip seam. I have no idea if I can fix it or not....

I've been waiting for it too. I'm surprised that no Jan. waiting room had been started.
  • I just took DS for a walk. We didn’t go far and didn’t go fast and I’m ready for a nap 💤 Makes me realize that I really need to start doing this regularly or I will be soo out of shape by the time this baby comes

I haven't worked out much in the past year because of school/clinicals. I think it's really going to take a toll on me this time around. I get tired just walking around the neighborhood, which is like a 15 min walk.  Last time I worked out 2-3 times a week until like 34 weeks. Wish I had the time or energy for it.
  • I don't know how y'all STM+ do pregnancy with non potty trained littles.

I had to help DS in the bathroom earlier and about vomited at the smell.

  • Exhaustion has struck again. We got so much laundry caught up on yesterday which was great but why did 12 loads of laundry not make a bigger dent in the mountain of laundry I have..... for real it’s because our dryer broke so we had to wait for a nice day to line dry but it also allowed me the opportunity to start a huge clothing purge for our entire family.

DH has been doing most of the bad diaper changes. 🤷‍♀️

  • @galentine this meme seems so relatable to so many of us today!  Last night was the 1st night I couldn’t sleep on my back.  It’s like I got out of breath and my body was numb and just telling me nope.  Ordered a body pillow today so hopefully that will help!!  I don’t know how you stm+ moms do it... I am so exhausted I can barely get done what I need to do.  Kudos to you all!

I haven’t felt kicks yet but I have dreams that I feel them all the time.  I wake up not knowing if it was real or not 😀
  • @sweetteaandswingsmama Weird question, but what is broken on your dryer? In other words, why does it not work?

My dryer broke about a year ago - it stopped heating - and I plugged the model number into Google to figure out how to fix it myself (I'm a big DIYer with things like that). I found out the part was deep inside, but only like $12 on Amazon. My now husband helped me disassemble the dryer piece by piece and replace the part, which perfectly fixed it!

It did take us about two and a half hours from start to finish, but it was actually really really easy (if you know how to use a screw driver and follow directions, that's basically all the know-how you need) and a major success. If you go this route, be sure to keep your parts well organized and take lots of pictures along the way, in case you get confused.

  • @meagan-t happy Anniversary!!!  We shampooed our carpet a year ago for the first time since HD bought the house.  I couldn’t believe how incredibly dirty it was!!  🤢
  • @emily1052 Thank you! Our area rug was really gross, but not as bad as some I've seen (a lot of the rug is covered most of the time, and I use Arm & Hammer to loosen the dirt and hair when vacuuming). I know the two bedrooms with carpet are going to be WAY worse, but I'm disgustingly excited to see all the dirt get sucked up. I can't stand those pimple videos (🤢), but I could watch things getting cleaned all day.

Now if only my house would clean itself...

@steminist ugh.lucky. I still have 6 weeks. Or 5 weeks 3 days. 3 more days this week for me because I'm taking Friday off for my appointment. My kids are DONE too, but they still have a big project that they are just starting. Boooooooo. I will be ecstatic to be done with this school year.

My husband and I celebrated our one-year wedding anniversary yesterday! We got a carpet shampooer on Saturday as a sort of gift to ourselves ...
You know you're married when... you buy a carpet shampooer for each other on your anniversary! ...OR you opt to go to whole foods with no kids on your anniversary, like us this year. Haha. On ours this year we were debating if we should get another drink after our dinner (we did have a babysitter after all), and then we decided--nah, whole foods is next door and we could walk the aisles in peace!
    Also, happy anniversary!

I had a really strong sense of smell when I was pregnant with my son. I don’t have that issue at all this time around.

Tonight, I’m exhausted. I put our son to bed at 8. Made dinner, washed a few dishes and had hoped to take a shower afterwards. Instead, I walked the dog, brushed my teeth and I’m laying down writing this.

    @jane101757
I love my Snoogle pillow. I bought it last year with my first pregnancy. I busted it out about two weeks ago and I think my body at night, knows how to defeat it. I am a side sleeper, I start on my back and turn to my side, the moment I pass out. But lately, (even with the snoogle)
I notice myself on my right side and on my back. I try so hard to just stay on my left.

Ha! I got SO a robot vaccuum for his birthday last year and a manual one this year (stairs etc) and he was over the moon happy about both. I'm just happy vacuuming his a chore he genuinely likes.
