@dpchickens I just went back to page 1 of the PG test thread. Created in 2014 so definitely wasn't done here in TTGP back when she was last here.
It's that full moon y'all!

@dpchickens to sum it up, she asked if she could be pregnant, we responded more or less nicely with some sarcasm mixed in, she called us toxic, claimed we were breaking the rules with our memes, said she had been here a while / did an intro and then @prpl11butterfly did some excellent sleuthing to prove her wrong 😂
inthewoods23 RIGHT!?!? Urgh... it's like, don't be telling ME what the rules 'used to be' a LONG time ago when you were here... because I've BEEN HERE THE WHOLE TIME.... sorry YOU got to leave to go have a nice healthy baby and don't 'remember' what it was like, but to take the upper smarmy hand and be all like "It used to be like X..." and lie... biotch, just don't. If that's what you think, you don't even KNOW because it USED to be WORSE....
b_1029 Thank you for the recap! Sounds like I could've posted some EXCELLENT GIFs and missed it.

OKAY I have a **tw/spoiler** for those of you who watch VEEP. Now, if you watch VEEP & find it funny, you already have a higher tolerance for really insensitive jokes etc, but I just want to **TW** episode 3 of the current season. It is in a spoiler below, with minimal actual episode spoilers
Just a fair warning for those who have gone thru any type of loss & procedure. My tolerance for that stuff is high, but I found the jokes around it insensitive and hard to watch.
@chichiphin Thanks for the heads up. I do want to watch it, but that might make me wait a while. I'm pretty intolerant to insensitivity in that regard right now.

I'm giving a giant mental middle finger to the people who brought their SICK KID to my RE's office. This kid is literally wrapped in a blanket, hacking, and mom and grandma are chatting about how feverish both kids have been.
ruby696 Your RE allows kids!?!? And SICK kids at that? Ugh. Switch Re's if you're not in love with that one!!! Eek. Also, why does someone bring their grandma AND sick child to an RE appt? Can't those 2 side-pieces just stay home with each other? OR like, walk around outside and collect rocks or whatever while she's in the appt?
P.S. Was at my local walmart, which not only didn't have something I needed for dinner tonight, but also had no GOT Oreos. *sigh*
Guess I'll have to drink my White Walker for dinner instead???

@dpchickens That was exactly my thought - why is grandma not out in the car with sick kid?! Oh, yeah, because they are self-centered aholes who don't think or care about anyone else.
I opted for an Oreo shake instead of a soda at Potbelly. That's healthier right??
Amazingly delicious either way

Pheww. Made it back from getting my car serviced and running errands. Turned out to be an easy fix, and I didn't even get charged for it! I went and did some cardio after, and now I'm chilling at home in my pajamas (yes, I know it isn't even 3pm yet).

I have to admit when I saw his photos I thought 🎶What's the story Wishbone? What's this you're dreaming of? Such big imagination on such a little pup.🎶 Anybody else watch that show when they were a kid?
Coworker's last day is tomorrow so a group of us got together at a bar to celebrate after work today. Long story short, "Woods is pregnant!" was shouted.
Thanks guys! 🙄
Good thing next week is National Infertility Awareness Week because I plan on writing up a Facebook post so that maybe they will shut up.

So Peggy... I was too nice in the beginning, but also spoke up about Aug 17 thinking she'd be like, "oh hey, I'm so and so." But she didn't. I also suspect a liar.
ETA:@inthewoods23 That's insanely rude. I'm so sorry.
@inthewoods23 *jaw drop* Wow. That’s not cool at all. I’m sorry someone thought that was funny.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
@NYTino24 I just find it funny that they have no idea they're being jerks. This was also towards the end before I left so many drinks had been had by them. I think it's been easy for me to just laugh about it because all tests have indicated that there are no issues on my end, just DH, but DH did say that them saying that was hurtful to him. I don't blame him. DH is on board with my posting something on FB as a "this is your friendly reminder to be considerate of your audience because you never know".

@inthewoods23 - I'm so sorry! What a completely clueless joke to make. Good for them that they're so sheltered from reality that they apparently don't know fertility issues exist and that many people experience them.
@inthewoods23 wow that’s so dumb and inconsiderate. People are so stupid sometimes! Do you mind if I ask what you’re planning on posting? I’m debating, DH is on board (he’s not even really on social media so he doesn’t care much ha)
@b_1029 I'm going to make it mostly an FYI kind of thing to people. It's probably time to make people aware of it, but I'm also a private person when it comes to my problems so I don't want people's sympathy. "Don't tell me you're so sorry about what I'm going through when you have no idea" kind of thing.
I might also do a list of things of do's and dont's with us. Like don't ask what the problem is, we're not going to tell. Don't acknowledge it with us. No, we don't need your support and your encouraging words (since I follow the - this is our journey, not yours kind of philosophy). None of the "just relax" BS. Don't tell us what to change to make us more fertile like diet or reducing stress. And so on...
ETA: thought of another one. "Oh boohoo it's been 6 months and nothing for you? Try 22 months and tell me how it feels."

I always post for NIAW and MC awareness day/month and pretty much all the other things. If you search "Resolve" on FB (or their website) they have TONS of things you can share if you just want to share something and maybe add a sentence or two to it. I've done this A LOT, as a regular reminder to people... as I like to be an advocate. There are TONS of things on there about how to talk about loss, reminders about infertility and how common it actually is, etc.
There are also some great (and pretty) images if you search for NIAW or just infertility quotes or the like... I oftentimes use these as my profile images during things like next week.
P.S. If someone finds something about how hurtful "Take Your Kids to Work Day" is for someone suffering RPL/IF, while it's slam in the middle of NIAW I'd be interested. I've found a scant few things, but nothing that really says what I'm feeling...

Also @ruby696 that's ridiculous. My RE office also prohibits children. Sorry you have to deal with that!

Such big imagination on such a little pup.🎶
Anybody else watch that show when they were a kid?

Coworker's last day is tomorrow so a group of us got together at a bar to celebrate after work today. Long story short, "Woods is pregnant!" was shouted.
Thanks guys! 🙄
Good thing next week is National Infertility Awareness Week because I plan on writing up a Facebook post so that maybe they will shut up.
