@kels0091 aww, I'm so sorry to hear you have to go through this. I don't know you or your exact situation, but in general, I know how it feels when someone has something you want so badly and are trying so hard for. I spent all of last year NTNP but secretly hoping and since the beginning of this year starting to put focus to really try and I'm already feeling major anxiety so I can only imagine how some of you who have been trying for a while may feel. I recently went through something similar with DH's best friend who JUST got married after having only dated this woman for a few months. Total whirlwind romance and I adore her, but I'm a little bitter that *TW* she made her announcement only a couple months in when she was NTNP. Felt a bit unfair. But I tried to compartmentalize my own desires and just focus on being happy for them.*END TW*  It'd be easy to say "just focus on being happy for someone you love and remind yourself that everyone's story and timeline is different and your turn is coming" but that almost sounds trite, even though in my heart I mean that. Anyway, hugs to you and your BF. ❤

@kels0091 I’m so sorry you have to deal with that this weekend. I’m glad MIL gave you aheads up. Like everyone else said, your feelings are completely valid. Sending lots of hugs your way.

@kels0091 First of all, you're my hero for the muffin thing!  Amazing!  Secondly, I am really sorry about the SIL situation.  Those situations are really tough to navigate.  If your BF is close with her, maybe he could pull her aside and tell her about your recent struggles, so she can kind of take it down a notch.  It's hard, though.... because you can't postpone it forever, or have it affect your relationship with her.  Big hugs.  I hope it goes as best as it can.

@kels0091 Ugh, sorry about the upcoming announcement. Is there any chance she's dreading it as well, but feels like she owes you a private, in person announcement? If so, maybe have your BF call her and let her know you guys already know, and while you're happy for her, an announcement isn't needed. She might be relieved since she knows about your loss history and she's trying to be kind. Sending hugs.

TTC 14 months now! I seriously am contemplating adopting an animal to help fill this void and my big empty house! Lol. Atleast I'll have some kind of cuteness around that can give me joy instead of being depressed and dissapointent all the time! Smh.

valgal90  LOL.  14 months is nothing.  But seriously, I got an emotional support animal 7 months after my first MC.  He has saved my life!  I bred him and adopted his daughter after it was pointed out that something could happen to him and I didn't think I could emotionally live past that if I didn't have a fall-back animal.  They are amazing.  They aren't a baby and aren't a substitute for it, but the closest I'll probably ever come.  Of course, now I have bitterness that people can drag their ill-behaved spawn anywhere they want and I'm expected to be happy about it, when my very well behaved babies are stuck at home... but hey, one issue at a time???

You all are so fantastic for a million reasons today. The support to my huge TW last night, laughing with me and not making me feel like a bad person for teaching someone about karma haha. And the way you all respond to the Peggy’s of the world who decide “trying to get pregnant? These broads forsure wanna see my pee stick.” 
Being on west coast time I almost always am late to the Peggy posts but I am always pleased with the perfect mixture of sass and kind redirection I see. 
By the time I’ve searched out the perfect meme, it’s almost always too late lol. 

Oh my god I can totally do spoilers now!!!!!!! #gamechanger lol. @inthewoods23 thank you !

@kels0091 - I'm late but so sorry about the situation with your SIL! That's hard, it's so nice that your MIL was sensitive about it and let you know. I hope SIL is sensitive to it as well! Hugs to you.

@kels0091 I hope your BF or MIL is able to gently let your SIL know that a big fanfare announcement is probably not the best idea. I hope it isn't too horrible for you. Hugs. I'm also on west coast time and miss a lot of Peggy posts. That one this morning had me raging.

Anyone else find it mildly infuriating when the bump gods close a thread "due to change in topic" instead of the actual reason that the person asked us if they're pregnant and showed their pee stick?

@inthewoods23 it pisses me off to no end. I even tell my bf and he doesn’t always get it but I tell him that it makes me mad therefore it should make him mad so then he agrees.

Adventures of an indoor cat:

I let her roam outside with supervision when the weather is nice like today (low 60s and sunny!). Usually on our deck which is 1 story up. Underneath is our walk out basement and patio area. If she goes down the stairs I follow. Well she even ventured onto the patio which we never cleared the fall leaves from last year. She JUMPED over the leaves instead of walking on them! My cat is not a fan of leaves apparently! Lol

Update on my SIL in spoiler (since I now know how to use them!!!) TW 

I went to my in laws campground today with my dogs. My bf was at work and I was asked to come out for a brunch. My sister in law was going to be there to do her big announcement of her pregnancy. To say I was full of dread would be an understatement. 
If we hadn’t lost our last pregnancy, this would have been the weekend we had planned to announce.  So it was already going to be a bad weekend. 

Well I get there a bit late and my mother in law says my SIL won’t be coming because she’s not feeling too good. She confirmed that she is pregnant and due in December and that they decided to try for ONE MONTH and got pregnant right away. 

Randomly while we were eating, MIL gets a FaceTime call from SIL. MIL starts out the their convo by saying ‘Kelsey is here and she guessed you were pregnant so she knows’ 
obviously SIL was a bit upset but ah well. 

My MIL is like a ride or die woman. My bf swears he hasn’t told her about our struggles or even that we are trying. I’ve made comments about how excited we are to start a family and that with my bf having had testicular cancer, how really theirs no use in waiting. So she must have just picked up on all of that and just decided to save me. 

Thats the long winded story. Thank you again to everyone for their kind words and understanding. I’m going to allow myself to feel sad for the rest of the weekend and then pull it together for my work week. I hope everyone’s had the best weekend so far

Your MIL sounds awesome side note: my DH also had testicular cancer, so I've been a bit worried about his end, but comforting to know it's definitely still possible. Although, I'm so sorry for your loss :hugs: I'm glad you're taking the weekend to be in your feelings, they're definitely merited.
