To add to the fire discussion, wasn't there a lead roof? Having dealt with two years of extreme wild fires in CA, I can't imagine the air quality if large amounts of lead are melting. And the pollution to the Seine. This is just so tragic, on so many levels.

There are some pretty big Game of Thrones fans in my neighborhood. They have giant banners hanging out of their windows with "Stark" and "Lannister" on them. That's dedication. I've never seen the show since I don't get HBO but maybe I will rent the DVDs if they're available.
