@melanier26@emily1052 and @nachellebeck13 that is one of my favorite series! I just finished binging the most recent season on Starz week before last and realized that now I have to go back to reading because that's as far as I got last time I was at the books. I think it's book/season 5 or 6 that's next for me. I have to say also that I've been pleasantly surprised at how well they adapted the books for television. Really nicely done, and Sam Heughan is just so darn dreamy with that accent!

So I had scheduled a meeting with another department today at 1pm to go over their audit findings and talk about their responses. They emailed my boss at 12:56 if they could reschedule to next week because they weren't finished. What bugs me is (1) you must have known much earlier than 4-5 minutes before a meeting that was scheduled almost a week and a half ago that you won't be ready, (2) almost all of the findings are repeat issues, why is it taking so long to research the problem, (3) you must not have respect for my time and my timeline since I'm already behind schedule because of them...
I have all of the feelings and just salty AF.

Why do I always get stuck in this stupid quote box?? I would be super annoyed if I were you! I am right there with you in the hormones or something causing a quicker temper. I read one of my employees the riot act today for something for which I normally would have just given a gentle lecture. I’m sure he walked away shaking his head at his pregnant boss but damn, I was annoyed and it felt good to let it out. Haha
Hi! I’ve been stuck under a super sick kid and trying to juggle work all week. My little one has the worst virus that either of my kids have ever had. She has puked, had diarrhea, the works, for three days. 😩 I’m really hoping she wakes up feeling better!
PSA- if anyone wants compression socks (highly recommend, especially with summer months coming), procompression is running a 5 for $95 special on their marathon socks (code: FB95. No idea expiration). I’ve used these in my past pregnancies, and the knee highs are great for helping with water retention in the legs, even if you just put them on at night when you get home for a few hours
I was cleaning out my closet,putting away my winter clothes and making room for maternity clothes today and it hit me. This is really happening!!! I’m pregnant! *cue the tears*
I’m currently laying on the couch while my husband and son are cleaning the house. I’m doing as much as I can but between pregnancy and battling a cold, I’m wiped out. Trying not to feel too guilty...
@melanier26 I feel you! I'm not even sick, and I'm still laying on the couch feeling drained. DS and I were out at the aquarium today, and he didn't end up napping. I really needed a snooze myself, so that was a bummer. DH gets home from a boys' weekend in about an hour, though, so I'm hoping to get a little rest soon.
