On a happier note, DH was nearby at a customer's location this morning and he had forgotten his Otis Spunkmeyer banana nut muffin (his favorite) that I had bought him. We agreed that I would bring the muffin with me to work and on his way back to his office he would stop by my work and pick it up.
And now I've had even more sunshine in my day getting to see him in the middle of the work day ❤️

I realized when I went to put yet another package of Oreos in the pantry, that I now have 6 packages in the house. This is a record. I don’t even like Oreos that much but the new flavours are so good and two of the packages are leftover from our party this weekend. I definitely won’t eat those ones cuz they’re boring, plain Oreos.

I got got a new job today ! I decided staying home with the dogs until my seasonal job started back up again wasn’t healthy for my mental health. So my new job is in retail but I’ll be in the back pricing merchandise. Plus I get a discount at ALL the stores in the mall I work in, most of which I actually love. I was hired on the spot after thinking I completely bombed the interview.

Mexico also has the same plugs and voltage (in case anyone is wondering).
Pro tip - most of the time you probably don't need the voltage converter since most electronics are rated 240/120V (cell phones, laptops, music players, etc.). You'll only need the plug adapter! Save yourself the money and don't buy the converter/adapter combo.

@inthewoods23 I agree- I have traveled to Europe many times and only used the plug adapter and worked fine. Only thing that wasn't compatible was my hairdryer so I just used ones that were there and didn't bring my own- not worth a converter for that.
@Spartanrd4 yep, everywhere I read before my trip to Iceland said to skip bringing the hair dryer. The mini one I have I think is capable of switching the power output to work on 240, but I think there can still be problems with too much power draw and tripping circuit breakers.

@b_1029 My OB was not even concerned about Zika when I mentioned it. We benched ourselves 6 months after our honeymoon 😭😭😭. He was saying how all of these places are spraying like crazy to kill the mosquitoes and he’s been monitoring it but it’s such a slim chance.

I got got a new job today ! I decided staying home with the dogs until my seasonal job started back up again wasn’t healthy for my mental health. So my new job is in retail but I’ll be in the back pricing merchandise.
