Anyone have an appointment this week?
YES!!!! I had my first appointment yesterday, and it was worth the wait. We got to see a gummy bear babe all snuggled safe in my ute. It had a beautiful fast flickering heartbeat and wiggled its little gummy bear arm nubbins at us. ❤
Cravings/Symptoms?
I had a lot of anxiety yesterday before the ultrasound, if that's a symptom. And lots of emotions and happy tears afterward. I was craving soft pretzels and cheese sauce, and my adorable H indulged me with some before my appointment.

How far along are you? 6+1
Anyone have an appointment this week? Had final HCG on Monday (huge increases over 1 week time). US scheduled for next Wednesday.
Cravings/Symptoms? Not much different. Just feeling constantly hungry now. Haven't found anything that makes me feel full for very long but I'm very weary of my weight gain. I'm already borderline "obese" at 5'3/160 🙄🙄🙄
Rants/Raves/Randoms? More snow today. And supposedly another next week. My driveway is not plowable anymore because my "plow guy" failed last storm and now it's all ice and super uneven. Thanks dad.

GTKY: If you had to choose between 2 apocalyptic scenarios (zombies or vampires), which would it be? Probably vampires. I have made it abundantly clear I do not want to live though a zombie apocalypse and have request DH take mercy on my request. Also, I may be okay being turned into a vampire.
@prpl11butterfly congrats on the betas! I hear you on the hunger but I feel full faster too so it's a paradox
What's going on this week? We officially named "Just Baby" as Jelly Bean to be more normal, and plus it starts with JB too
How far along are you? 8+4 (based on LMP)
Anyone have an appointment this week? No, next Tuesday. I personally have a goal of being the farthest before my 1st appointment for this BMB so it's going swimmingly (NOT)
Cravings/Symptoms? Some mild nausea when I smell coffee our industrial bathroom smells
Rants/Raves/Randoms? I'm so happy that were finally under the 1 week mark until our appointment. Also, I finally turned in a work project that I've been procrastinating on finishing and I feel amazing

I love to dream of zombie apocalypses because I get to "survive" and be a badass, but honestly I would choose vampires. But only the old traditional sorts, none of this walking in daylight, impregnating humans, or being able to enjoy garlic bread as much as I do
How far along are you? 9 weeks, 2 days.
Anyone have an appointment this week? No, I must practice the art of Zen and wait three weeks.
Cravings/Symptoms? The all-day nausea has lessened, which is lovely, but has also made me nervous. But now I'm getting a metallic taste in my mouth, so I don't even know anymore.
Rants/Raves/Randoms? My husband just came back home from a business trip to Japan and I'm so glad that he is back! He was gone for 11 days, and we were definitely crowded in the bed last night because our two cats were happy he was back home as well. Cuddle fest!
Questions? For STM/STM+ or FTM near my timeline, has anyone else noticed a lessening of nausea/morning sickness around 9 weeks?
GTKY: If you had to choose between 2 apocalyptic scenarios (zombies or vampires), which would it be? 100% Vampire. I used to be obsessed with the show Buffy the Vampire Slayer, which is why I have my black belt in tae-kwon-do. Although, that was 15 years ago, so I probably couldn't hurt anyone now. Other than myself.
@elle-0409 I had 3 GLORIOUS days in the middle of nine weeks but then week 10 came back to kick me in the butt. Enjoy
@prpl11butterfly I feel similar, I'm hungry but also a slight bit nauseous (if I could classify it into words). I'm also leary of weight gain and possible GD (I was right on the borderline when I was PG with DS). Yay for U/S next week!!
@marbellie Loving the nickname!! And your U/S is going to be so worth it for the wait, you will really get to see more features for your jelly bean!
@elle-0409 I think my overall symptoms were lessened around that time. Glad YH is back and you are getting all of the snuggles!!
What's going on this week? Baby is the size of an uncooked macaroni. I feel like I need to break open a box of mac & cheese and see this now!!

Anyone have an appointment this week? YES, TODAY!!! I am so nervous and anxious. The countdown is less than 3 hours until I leave work and I feel like nothing will really get done because my mind is elsewhere.
Cravings/Symptoms? Still the same: tender chested, some nausea and food aversions. Bread is the only thing that sounds good. I feel like my stomach is constantly hurting (I have IBS and the symptoms from this have been flaring).
Rants/Raves/Randoms? DH was a little cranky this morning, which is the wrong day to be pissy with me since I'm already having all the feels due to my appointment this morning. Also have been looking for my fetal doppler that I bought when I was PG with DS but for the life of me cannot find. I'm cranky that I need to spend another $45, I bet you I find it when I buy the new one.

@marbellie, only one more week! You can make it! The longer the wait, the sweeter the reward, right? 😊 Also, I'm pretty excited my EDD stayed the same yesterday so we can remain EDD twins! Also, I'm awwwwing at "jelly bean." Super cute.
@elle-0409, your lessening nausea is giving me light at the end of the puke-tunnel. Only another week! I can make it! (Actively choosing to "LALALALALALA I didn't hear that!" to @nomangos23 post on the subject 😜)

Anyone have an appointment this week? Went to the doctor's for another reason
Cravings/Symptoms? Mood swings, upset stomach, boobs hurt
Rants/Raves/Randoms? Been a rough few days with sickness in my house. Went to the regular doctor yesterday because I felt my bad cough and congestion was moving into my chest. Turns out likely was shortness of breath I get in early pregnancy. Then last night, I ate a dinner I probably shouldn't have and was up with bad stomach issues and a low grade fever (could be unrelated because DD also had a low grade fever last night). Terrified that I had any type of fever so early in the pregnancy. Even though OB isn't concerned, Dr. Google has freaked me out.

My appointment went great, we saw our little Lima bean snuggled in and measuring exactly with O date of 10/14 (so 7+3). So DH basically ruined my surprise and told his mom and aunt which totally made me mad 😡 So as much as I didn’t want to text it to his side, I guess we are going to. And I have to call my twin sister tonight too, because I don’t want her to find out without it being from me. She’s going to be happy and cranky all at once.

As a cautionary tale, I took a test this morning and the test line was not as dark as previous tests and that made me more anxious. After a certain point, testing needs to stop!
Soooo next most important question: are we staying due date twins? 🤞🤞
