My body runs like a clock with it comes to AF as far as knowing what to expect. But this month I have been an emotional mess, MESS, for the past 10 days. My boobs and nipples have been progressively sore for 11 days. I’ve had gas, nausea, vomiting, bloating, sensitivity to smell, food cravings, vivd dreams of being pregnant with twins and more over the past two weeks.
I’m in tears typing this after yet another BFN test. I feel pregnant? I’ve never had a kid but I’ve never felt like this.
I waited till I was in my late thirty’s to try. I never had unprotected so consistently as I have over the past two years. I’ve only been trying for a few months but each negative test is another kick in the stomach.
I am at a loss. I don’t know what my body is telling me. It’s day 14 past ovulation , af is due tomorrow or the next day, and im just confused.
Has anyone else experienced these symptoms without being pregnant?
@cali-queen Hello! This thread is for those of us trying to get pregnant so this might not be the best place to ask. It’s against the Terms of Use of the board to ask even in a roundabout way if you are pregnant.
I’m not really sure what you guys mean. I don’t know how to delete it. And you’re pretty rude Kels because I didn’t even know about the rules and I’m seriously an emotional wreck. Thanks.
I’m not asking if I’m pregnant. I took a FR test and it was BFN. I’m asking about anyone experiencing this type of symptoms without a BFP. I’m just looking for information. Don’t mean to step on toes or get anyone upset by the topic. Not really fluent in these types of forums.
@cali-queen I am on mobile so I wasn’t able to post an informational gif correctly. Read the pinned posts on this thread and get a feel of the board. We don’t know what’s going on with your cycle, this is something you need to talk to your doctor about. If you are KU (knocked up) please post in the 1st trimester board. This is a community of women in all stages of their journeys that support one another. If you want to join in during your journey of TTC (trying to conceive) - introduce yourself in the “newbie thread” and jump in on the WTO or TWW threads. We don’t usually do one off posts like this simply because the board gets quite messy in those instances. I wish you the best in your journey and hope you can find the answers you’re looking for!
I had to google search to even find this board. Idk how to get to rules. I’m on my mobile as well and don’t know how to navigate this page (I have tried countless times) so I don’t know how to follow all those steps. Hopefully someone else reads this and is more understanding
I’m trying to explain it. The highlighted threads will guide you. The newbie thread is where you select the “Newbie Intro” and then can add your intro within the comments. Do not make a new discussion. Posting new discussions result in excessive gifs and TBGs banning people.
I did just find those postings and nothing about my posting is in violation of anything. Maybe you should go correct someone else who’s just looking for guidance.
I thought I was pregnant all month because I was sick and so tired and just not myself.
Turned out to be the flu.
If you are getting negative pregnancy tests, you are not pregnant.
It seems when we tell people like yourself that, (people who don’t read the very simple pinned posts at the very top of the board, the same ones you had to scroll down thru to start your own), that you all seem to get angry. And we understand how frustrating not getting pregnant when you want too can be. We’ve pretty much all been there and done that. So maybe you should go to your doctor and get some blood work done to figure out what’s going on. Because all of our crystal balls are out of batteries.
I’m not trying to fight with random women because I’m desperately looking for answers. I’ve read all of those and nothing I posted is against the rules. I can’t stop crying, I’m an emotional mess and you both are not helping. Please stop posting to this thread. I don’t know how to delete it.

@cali-queen I mean this with all of the kindness in the world. If you are this desperate like you said and an emotional mess, it would be helpful to speak to a professional counselor about what you are going through. It doesn’t mean you are abnormal or crazy. Everyone needs a little help sometimes. Also, it is good to go speak to your Doctor about these symptoms you are having with negative pregnancy tests to make sure everything is okay physically.
If you’re on your phone, scroll to the top of this page and you will see ‘Trying To Get Pregnant’ right below your name in your original post. Click there and it will take you to the main page. WTO means Waiting to Ovulate. TWW means Two Week Wait. Women post in those threads throughout their cycles depending where they are at rather than making their own posts. If you had read all of the threads she pointed you to, you would see a list of acronyms to help you to know what they mean as well as instructions in the Newbies read this first that teach you about board etiquette.
This is the world of TTC (Trying To Conceive). You’re gonna have to do a little research online to learn this stuff. If you can Google to find trying to get pregnant forums, register an account, and post....then you can figure this out too. It’s no different than Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or any other social media account you use. You navigate and learn. Nobody is there to teach you how to use those. You teach yourself. Same here. I really hope that you find the help that you need, that you’ll come back here and introduce yourself in the weekly Newbie intro thread, and get your take home baby soon.
People think we become mothers when we give birth but the truth is we become mothers the moment we start calling our babies to us in our thoughts, dreams and prayers. Some paths are short and some are so long that you can easily forget where you were headed.

you dont want a BFP at 15 days after a bfn. There is a much higher chance of miscarriage. So honestly, I would hope my period comes if I were in your shoes.
OP at least 3 different people have told you IN DETAIL how to navigate and use this board. They even explained the etiquette. If you still don't understand I don't know what we can do to help you.
@suzycupcake I have tried to navigate this sight unsuccessfully. I’ve looked for the TWW posting and found it but again, it’s full of abbreviations that there are no definition for and idk how to respond. I’m not trying to be difficult, I’m trying to get information. I have an appointment with my dr this week but I’m stressed out.
@daffodil_shoe I feel like since I started BD without protection my body has kind of kicked into a higher gear? Idk if that sounds weird. My body hadn’t been introduced to sperm on a regular basis till about two years ago. So maybe I’m just crazy, idk anymore.

@thatcma and I’ve responded to those who were kind and helpful in the same way. Idk what your deal is but you’re not obligated to respond to this thread.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*

*Lurking* @cali-queen If you had read the threads you were directed to, you would realize the step you’ve missed:
If you see an acronym you’re unfamiliar with, Google it or use The Bump’s search function. If you’re on The Bump, you’re on the internet.
Me: 34 DH: 38 Married: June 2011 TTC since Feb 2016 BFP#1: 7/7/16 MMC: 8/16/16 BFP#2: 5/8/17 - CP BFP#3: 6/27/17 EDD: 3/10/18
Soooo you can use TWW and BD correctly but have a hard time looking up other acronyms? What?! GOOGLE if you’re confused. You don’t even have to know how to navigate this board to look up common TTC (trying to conceive) acronyms.

😂 For the record, it is not the sudden contact with sperm that is making you feel these things. It’s your mind and hormones changing. I have also felt things that I’ve never felt before in my life since we started TTC over a year ago but it isn’t because I now have sperm inside me for the first time. 😂 when you want something so badly, your brain is going to do crazy things. Like not listen to reason.
The ladies here are wonderful and full of wisdom and compassion and friendship. It would serve you well to stop being defensive, listen to what they’re trying to tell you, eat an extra large piece of humble pie, and go do a proper intro so we can start fresh and try to get to know where you’re coming from.
Also, for the record... I recommend you see a therapist, trust me, it's super helpful. I am a total emotional mess... last night and this morning I have irrational anger issues and am internally contemplating if it'd be better to stab people that are pissing me off in life with a flathead or phillips head screwdriver (Trust me, each has it's merits), and wondering if there are anger management drugs out there, because contemplating stabbing people really isn't normal. I wish I could be one of those happy-go-lucky people where my 5 dead babies make me all "But Jesus loves us all and life is still great" bounce-back wonder women... but instead, I'm debating how many people I need to stab to feel better inside... So yeah, point is... we've ALL got issues and TTC is a mess, especially TTCAL. But just because you're an emotional mess does NOT make you knocked up...
