Is there anyone else wearing a fitness watch with RHR out there? I have a fitbit versa and no joke, my resting heart rate has increased 10-15 bpm since getting pregnant. Pic in the spoiler.
I have a love/hate relationship this change. I worked really hard to bring my RHR down into the 70’s (from high 80’s low 90’s) over 6 months with exercise and healthy food choices, and now it “looks” like all my hard work is gone. Logically I know its for a good reason so I like it, but it still hard to see 👎
@ceclarlinetlo Oh my gosh, it all makes sense now! My resting heart rate is normally in the 50s, but at the doctor’s the other day it was in the 70s. You just brought me so much knowledge!! And don’t worry about the change. Your hard work is not gone! 😃

Is anyone else having super weird dreams? Most of mine revolve around anxiety, and I’m so emotionally (and physically) tired when I wake up. I’m blaming hormones?

I went from sleeping peacefully through the night straight to waking up twice during the night to pee. Skipped right over the once-per-night wake up. I'm like, dang body, you couldn't have slowly eased me into this?! 😂

That was me with DS. Never got a second trimester reprieve from it either! I didn’t slepp through the night once from 6 weeks pregnant until DS was 4.5 months old.

Oh, hi me. I stop STTN the moment the kid implants 🤦🏼♀️ Rude, body!

YES! The other night I dreamt that I had triplets, and that my ex boyfriend (who I haven't thought once about in literally 10 years) moved in with us to help us take care of them! Also my cat was talking. Just one example, I've been having strange and super vivid dreams almost every night.
@jenferlee82 LOL! We should be keeping dream journals.
@galentine YES to all of the peeing! The hard part is that I take a progesterone supplement, so I'm not supposed to use the bathroom for an hour after taking it. Yet somehow, my body always wants to pee 45 minutes later.

The first one I remembered when I was really early pregnant with DS, I got into a fight with George Clooney on twitter about which breakfast cereal was the best. I can’t remember his position but I was staunchly pro Cap’n crunch and I wasn’t willing to budge.
I also get an elevated resting heart rate when pregnant. It’s one of the signs I watch for and find it interesting to see on my Fitbit. This is partly why I tested earlier this month than original planned.
@theearlymajority I’ve never found anything that works wonders but I always have sour candy or the preggo pops on hand, I wear sea bands 24/7 and force myself to eat every couple of hours. Ginger and eating crackers before getting out of bed haven’t ever helped.
I too have crazy nausea and MS. My DH found some tea on amazon last pregnancy by a company called Pink Stork that seems to help (at least take the edge off). They have a hard candy too. Since I’m in Florida I like to make it iced and sip it throughout the day. I’ll put a picture off it in a spoiler.
@c.gardner37 I LOVE that tea! I have a pituitary tumor and the medicine I take for it makes me queasy every morning. I've used that tea for years to get through it. Ironically, since I got pregnant, I haven't been queasy at all in the mornings. Hope that lasts, it would be a nice change after about 6 years of it nonstop!
My boobs hurt so bad! That was my first symptom. Literally 2 days after ovulating. I knew I was pregnant!
Also, I've been emotional, tired and the nausea is starting. I didn't have any nausea with my first so pretty sure this is payback! I'm only 3w4d (literally just found out today) and already nauseous!!!
Today is the second day in a row I’ve woken up at 5:30 and lay here wide awake 🙄 I tend to stay up til at least 11 to have some time with my hubby but I may have to start forcing myself to bed early
Oh my gosh, yes to waking up in the wee hours. And I wake up starving! I stood in my kitchen shoving all kinds of food in my face at 5 AM. Then (when I finally fell back to sleep) I dreamt about cake. I am going to start keeping snacks next to my bed. @cmbt2 There is a Sunday Insomnia thread, we just didn’t post one yet. But we definitely need to! 😴 ETA tag.

Add my name to the list of insomniacs. Up twice last night. Laid there for half an hour and scrolled through Instagram like a zombie. Also seriously contemplated making a trip to the kitchen but ultimately laziness won out and I didn’t move.
Well ladies, I’m terrified. Last night I had a teeny teeny tiny amount of spotting, pink and really not much at all. I called my RE and the nurse said it’s likely from the progesterone suppositories irritating my cervix and not to worry about it. It stopped, and today started back up again, this time a darker pink that’s closer to red, and more of it. Still not a lot at all, but more. They still says it’s probably the progesterone but I am freaking out! Our ultrasound isn’t until Monday so I somehow have to make it that long before we will really know for sure. Ugh, I hate this!
@jenferlee82 Even with you worried, they won't let you come in earlier just to check? I would think that to have you nervous/anxious all weekend wouldn't be good and would much rather give you a bit of peace of mind and come in before then.

They are saying it just isn’t a big deal and that it’s really common for the progesterone to cause it, so they haven’t even really given that option. They’ve been super nice when I talk to them and logically I know they are right because it really isn’t much spotting at all. They said they won’t really do anything unless it turns into a heavy flow or I have cramping with it.

Ginger and eating crackers before getting out of bed haven’t ever helped.
if ginger or candies don’t help, the next recommendation is usually a unisom/b6 combo
