This is the first time I remember experiencing this. Just walking from the bus terminal to my desk gets me super winded

My hormonal acne is beyond .  I am crazy about skincare and its driving me nuts that I am breaking out. I don't want to wear make up because I want it to clear up but also am so embarrassed to leave the house without it covered up:( well worth it....but still hate it!
  • I am feeling really worried today. Is it normal to have ‘symptoms’ fluctuate? I don’t really have the nausea I did a few days ago. And my chest isn’t as sore as yesterday. I am probably just driving myself crazy, but I am afraid that this means I will have a miscarriage.
  • @annierose3 I wouldn’t worry too much. I don’t think symptoms really mean anything. Some women have them, some women don’t. Some women have them one pregnancy and not the next. Try not to over think. I know it’s easier said then done as I am guilty of that too.  I tell myself every day “Today I am pregnant. Today I love my baby”

    When is your first appointment?

@annierose3 it’s pretty common for them to come and go for the first few weeks, especially the boob pain. The nausea can come and go; depends on the person and if there’s a trigger or something you can do to make it better. Around 7/8 weeks, things tend to be more consistent day to day

  • @rachelgreene-2 and @cmbt2 thank you both for the advice and reassurance. I am just feeling anxious today, and I know that it does no good to worry like this. My first US is Monday morning. I was planning on telling my immediate family next weekend.

@annierose3 it’s very common to have your anxiety peak right before a major scan. Just remember that today you are pregnant.

  • 4 weeks 5 days for me so far only light cramping and slight boob pain. It's crazy to feel that you want to have symptoms just to know everything is going okay but it's totally true. Man waiting the 6 + weeks until they want to see me is going to be pure torture.
    zaraanity
  • Add bloated to mine lol I feel so full all the time and I’m still so tired.
  • @annierose3 I’m very much experiencing the same thing. I’ve only had mild cramping, sometimes sore boobs and that’s about it. The wait is excruciating. Hang in there, we’re in this together!!

I might be having a bit of the super sense of smell. SIL1 and her boyfriend were at my house for a baby shower for SIL2 yesterday. SIL1 and her boyfriend are both smokers. They did not smoke in my house yesterday, but when I came out of my bedroom this morning I could still smell them.

  • @tinybluesprite I can totally relate to your anxiety. I am 39, and also 5W1D.  I know just what you mean about fearing miscarriage or other complications. This group has been so reassuring and supportive. I am hoping that your fears don't get the best of you, and I am sorry that you have to wait until 10 weeks for US. Any chance you can convince your Dr to do the US sooner?

  • I'm at the 5 week mark now based on my LMP, just woke up to slightly sore boobs, but nothing too bad yet. I also feel a semi-regular digging in my lower stomach that reassures me it's still a real thing though :) anyone else get this? It doesn't feel like a period cramp but like being poked.
  • I’m feeling allllll of this anxiety over fluctuating symptoms, totally relate. <3 definitely had my first noticeable food aversion yesterday though, all my fav foods were making me nauseous to smell.. it’s funny, because it was hard to eat and a challenging day, but I was also like “oh thank god, look a symptom” 😂

I might know what you mean? I definitely felt like baby must have been burrowing down deep a few days ago because I had cramping like sensations but it wasn’t painful the way period cramps are.

My boobs got super sore at around 4 weeks and are still pretty sensitive and starting throwing up last Sunday. Life will pretty miserable for awhile. I get extremely sick 😭 I’ve had it with both my pregnancies but it seems to get worse with each one.
Just trying to figure out how I’m going to make it the next 10 weeks or so.

I know they say you cramp more and more with each one, and last time they told me that I’ll cramp more than I ever remember, but man. It sucks.

It’s also placed me in a b*** move I can’t seem to shake. Sorry, guys! (And sorry to my poor husband who has to deal with it)

  • I’m 4w3d and I had some cramping a few days ago but that seems to be gone for the most part. Sore nipples 🤭 And I am so hungry! I don’t remember that happening so early in my other 2 pregnancies. I’m trying to make myself eat as healthy as I can now bc I know the nausea is coming soon.
  • @crbpk I'm also over here wondering how I'm going to make it through the next 10 weeks with the nausea (and fatigue, but mainly nausea). I'm so sorry you get it bad. It totally sucks. :/ Do any of the "natural remedies" work for you?

@melanier26 I'm always hungry too, but literally nothing sounds good. I wake up starving, open the fridge and get so disgusted by 99% of what I see. So weird because I WANT to eat but it's such a battle.

Also, still no sore boobs for me and I'm seriously puzzled???? I think I just can't let it go because it was my #1 symptom with DD.
    emily1052
  • I can’t tell if my boobs are sore or if I am making it up in my head because I want them to be? I swear I keep feeling an off and on mild sensation similar to how extremities feel when they fall asleep and are waking up. Except that makes zero sense because boobs fon’t fall asleep lol.

  • My sense of my body is all off base too, because I’m cutting out caffeine by 1/4 cup every three days (I’m a massive junkie, it had to go). So I’ve been mega food aversive and nauseous and stomach-ache-y and crampy and bloated and lethargic and full of despair, but it’s impossible to tell what of that is caffeine withdrawal versus preggo. 🙃 fingers crossed for a more coherent day today haha

Yes! So much this. I was doing yoga this morning and almost started crying when I tried to do cobra, because my chest brushed against the ground.
